Hello everyone, my name is Ellie Hope and I'm seven years old. Today, I'm not standing here
because I'm strong. I'm standing here because God gave me the strength to keep going, even on the
days when I thought I couldn't. I used to live in a small simple house with my mom and dad.
We didn't have much money, but every day was filled with laughter, love, and warm hugs.
My baby brother had just been born, only a week old. Every day, I would put my hand on my mom's
belly, sing to him, and dream of all the days ahead when we'd grow up together, play together,
and love our parents even more. But then, just one morning, everything changed.
A sudden accident took both my mom and dad away forever. I never saw them again.
It was just me and my tiny baby brother in my arms. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know
how to feed him, change him, or stop his crying. I was scared, really scared. I felt like I was
sinking into a place that was dark and cold. But then, I remembered something my parents always
told me. When you're afraid, pray. God is always with you, so I prayed. I closed my eyes and said,
Dear Jesus, please help me. Please don't let me be alone. Please show me how to take care of him.
And little by little, things began to change. Not with big miracles, but with small warm ones.
A neighbor brought warm milk, someone left a blanket at our door, and a soft voice inside my
heart whispered, you can do this. Day by day, I learned to hold my brother close, rock him to
sleep, change his diapers, and make him smile. And every night before I closed my eyes, I would
whisper, thank you, Jesus, for helping us through one more day. Today, I stand here on this stage,
not to become a star, but because I want to sing for Jesus, the one who never left me,
the one who held my hand in the darkest moments of my life.
I closed my eyes and whispered in the dark, Dear Jesus, I need you now, I'm falling apart.
You never left me, even when I cried, even when the world went quiet, and I had no place to hide.
You fed the milk, the blanket, the peace I couldn't see. I was never really alone,
cause you never left me.
Little fingers wrapped in mine, and I learned how to be strong. Each lullaby I sang to him
made me feel like I belonged. The days were cold, the nights were deep, but love would pull us through.
And every prayer I whispered alone was leading me to you. You never left me, even when I cried,
even when the world went quiet, and I had no place to hide. You fed the milk, the blanket,
the peace I couldn't see. I was never really alone, cause you never left me.
I stand here now, not brave on my own, but holding every promise you've ever shown.
And when I sing, I sing for you, my forever friend, forever true.
You never left me, not one single day. Through every fear and at every tear, you made a well.
My strength, I found my soul, in every quiet plea. I was never really alone, cause you never left me.
Now I know, not just singing for me, I'm singing for every child still waiting to be born.
Thank you, thank you for listening to my song. That song was really special to me,
because it was my way of saying thank you to Jesus for never leaving me, even when everything
felt dark. But I'm not done yet. I have one more song I want to sing. This next one is a happy song.
It's about the joy I still feel, because even when life is hard, God still gives us reasons to smile.
The night was long, and I was small. I didn't think I'd make it through at all.
But morning came, and with the sun, I felt the light of the Holy One.
He held my hand, when I was scared. He wiped my tears, He answered prayer.
I still have joy, I still have peace, even when the storm won't cease.
I still have hope, I still can sing, cause Jesus walks with me through everything.
Yes, I still have joy, and I'll never let it go. I used to cry myself to sleep,
but now I dance on tiny feet. I hear Him laugh, I see Him near, in every smile and every cheer.
He held my hand, when I was scared. He wiped my tears, He always cared.
I still have joy, I still have peace, even when the storm won't cease.
I still have hope, I still can sing, cause Jesus walks with me through everything.
Joy like sunshine, joy like spring, joy that makes my small heart sing.
He gave it when I needed light, and now it's shining oh so bright.
I still have joy, I still have peace, even when the storm won't cease.
I still have hope, I still can sing, cause Jesus walks with me through everything.
Yes, I still have joy, cause when you walk with Jesus, you have joy.
