The BEST B-ROLL LENS for the GH5 (Panasonic Lumix 25mm f1.7 ASPH)

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] good morning guys and welcome to another tasty bug mission number one of today is to find me some sunglasses because look how much I'm squinting in the Sun I can't see a thing of yours gone well I was gonna explain so I've got quite a big head and every pair of sunglasses I have like they look great because like I picked my sunglasses but they're always too small for my head and they give me a headache off ten minutes oh I don't wear them and when I'm driving they give me a headache so I can't wear them so I need to find some like big headed sunglasses basically so I can wear them and actually become to win them you're my figures thank you and I've got a pair of mine so yeah that's mission number one of today we've just had some breakfast at home Lucy made it it's delicious we didn't film it actually in today's video we won't have a chat about the lens that we use the small Panasonic 1.7 25 mil lens that we used to feel more like kind of b-roll and intros and stuff like that if you've clicked on this video because of that we will be doing it very shortly so don't worry it's not this lens this is our whiting for walking shots but yeah I'm out of breath because since we filmed the last video on the channel the boo hoo haul we pretty much use that lens for the whole video which was that and we've had a ton of you guys message us and ask us what gear were using what lens we using to get that kind of blurry background get those really sharp images so we're going to answer some of those questions today but we can't use that way walking along because it'd be like this hello we're off now to try out a new place in Worthing in our town just opened yeah a new eatery they've cooled them doesn't Easter a so it might be polished other day they were like 200 pounds so she morning she like it's one issue paying for it right as in of 60 - Oh glass in my problem I thought I'd sit on them I break yeah I was 200 quid so I need to I would never pay that much for summarize the other thing I always knew sunglasses these are from TK Maxx I actually get a lot of demos about these as well they're women's sunglasses yeah they are they're women's they've got a love heart on the side and I like carved it off but I like him you guys seem to like them so jobs good I think we've made a decision I like him no well like nice and loose on my side a lot of that effect I think at the side feel like you yeah [Music] we actually only use two lenses when we make our videos we use the Panasonic d85 to film all of our vlogs we mainly use the wide-angle lens that we've got on right now which is the which is the panasonic lumix 7 to 14 millimeter lens now the gh 5 if you know about cameras is a Micro Four Thirds system so with the lens's it kind of it's a smaller crop sensor so the lens's you get are half the millimeter of a normal lens so this 25 mil lens that we're talking about today is actually a 50 mil lens on most other cameras that make sense yes so we used to have a 70 D we filmed with so Canon lenses 50 mil lens oh my god there's a massive what so we only really use two lenses or we obviously want to increase that and get more there's a ton of lenses we've got our eyes on but really to make these blogs we use the wide-angle and we use this little bad boy which is a tiny tiny lens to be honest super small these lenses are it's it's one of the more plastic ones but it's it was quite to you how much was this loose like 150 maybe 200 pounds for this which is beautiful lens if you're if you know anything about cameras and lenses we know that you can spend that wherever grads on a decent lens the 7 to 14 wide angle which I'm using to film this bit on was about 7 to 800 pounds which is actually quite ironic because the actual like the quality probably better with this lens here and it's actually one and it times the actual shots we get there much more cinematic and stuff than that one this one's more of like a practical end this one's more creative we use it below for things like cooking shots with music quite a lot don't weird like with it our national epidemic that with all the close-ups and stuff with it and we've also used it when we just like filming each other talking and so like when we were in Newcastle we use it for a bit on the rock then and although we can use it like I said a minute ago like close-up because it's so like zoomed in when we set up a bit and actually film each other like because of the blurry background and it looks so much better like the quality of it but it's like not practical for that really it's a much more practical if you like filming closer time to illustrate that we'll leave the camera on the table exactly where it is right now and we'll flip to the other lens we won't consume it in this is a prime lens so there's no zoom on this lens so we'll leave the camera exactly where is and we'll swap the lenses now and you'll sue only beam there you go this is why we can't do it smoked wine and this is why we can't use it for like things like this when the camera is so close to us like I don't think anyone and watch me destroy an entire video with you however we do love this learn to recommend to anyone with ch5 if you want to get that with cinematic yep and it doesn't possible to do that it's easy stuff in your bag for each of your blends that actually quite a big kind of life moment in a way we're not pregnant not get married but yeah so we've been planning out for the last couple of hours that was a new place in wiving called the eatery I think it's cool oh yes called Finch yeah a tiny writing I just met that some reason pretty good it nice I didn't realize they serve alcohol as well we just had a soft drink and used their Wi-Fi for a bit but it was very very nice so if you if you live in wedding or visit wedding recommend giving them a little visit we're heading over now to get me a haircut and we also need to we also need to pack later because tomorrow we're off to Bath for a couple of nights not actually bath for like 45 minutes away from bar so it's easier to say bath yeah we're standing like the middle of nowhere in this really really nice hotel it's like a spa resort again and but we're gonna go into barra maybe we're definitely one of the days maybe the second day there's nothing else to do around the area but and yet definitely one of the days so we're looking forward to that yeah we are it's gonna be so much fun I absolutely love baths I asked on my Instagram for some recommendations low do you guys messaged 10th the temple goes to Friday it's basically like the creator day for it and we're super excited it's up in London and it's like this loser yeah it's a technical and they set loads of workshops and stuff and it sounds really fun so we're super excited about that so I can't look fool to certainly written below if you were going to be coming along to that if you're gonna be there as a creator and and along the bottom there so there's actually like no hair on part of it I needed that because I go ahead of it before we go away tomorrow super excited for that we need to go and make some dinner now because we're so hungry this is so called we're working with a company on tonight's dinner amazing is that they saw that we like post a load of food stuff on our instagrams and talk about food we always show you guys what dinner Lucy's making and stuff so tonight can I help keeping service I'm sorry what's one a help so tonight we'll talk about more in a minute but we're working with a very cool company who are providing tonight it's gonna get back at the flat now guys and as we mentioned we're gonna cook dinner when I say we I'm gonna try and help Lucy ones because if you're a regular viewer of the juicy table then you will know that Lucy cooks the majority of our meals that is just a fact it's not that I can't cook it's that Lucy is just incredibly good at cooking and enjoys it she enjoys choosing meals looking at recipes choose ingredients put in a meal together I do all the washing up and although all that kind of stuff around and I do help now and then I probably wouldn't cook than wash up yeah and I well causes a brothel wash up but it's not a bad deal let's put it that way so as we mentioned in the car we're working with a company called handy bytes on tonight's dinner and this video that's about hate handy h8a NDI yes it's arrived in the post the other day from them and they've been kind enough to sponsor this part of the video today and we're going to cook up some of their - they're basically a company who provide spices effectively so they sent us this kit which is like a full kit of spices that's a glass jar yep but they eventually sent us all the stuff we need to make like several meals got biryani basically for me when I'm cooking I find like I've got through spices in the drawer but I can't really bother to like make a curry up I just kind of guess throw random things in and hope for the best this is actually like a spice mix pre-made for the curry you're doing so it's not like a jar you still make the sauce yourself which is great cuz Jon never tastes the same as like how it should be but this is like halfway there so it's super helpful isn't it because like I pop it on with a bloody pestle and mortar and so that and it gives you like a rest on the back so I'm gonna pick one in a second the first I'll go through what we've got so you've got a couple of weeks biryani there chicken tikka we've got I've never heard of this one jeera that's medium it tells you at the spicy level as well Calma which is a firm favourite and it's quite um fine spice isn't it that's right so it's already like been grounded up it saves like like I said that we've bought mixes before for spices and it's like loads of massive ingredients like you get a big old like bay leaf sticking out of it this is already ground up we got four about picking out the horrible big what they could bay leaves all cordons no cardamom Russ and I've never had like you're probably watching the thinking at least you don't do it I've never had a vindaloo and that's the one I want to do today because I've never had it and it's the hottest one on the list it's got three chilies this is hot underneath but George is all boned up from it a fever so I think you need something spicy to get yourself flowing a bit more and I just really fancy trying it so I feel like yeah we gonna go for and it's called volcanic vindaloo so oh my god this also little cayenne pepper chutney oh that's quite sweet fancy [Music] so in there in the 15 Browns we bought room Kashmiri chilies garlic ground cumin ginger red chili powder salt turmeric powder like honestly I cook we wanted to wait till ingredients to run amok so [ __ ] you cook up some chicken and some onions of oil adding this then add some water some vinegar add some smoked eggs and some chicken stock and that [ __ ] Mia it's so easy and then put some ice up instead there's no like tomatoes coconut milk in some shop make my life easier what have you done so far I'm like wellif it I filmed it I filmed a film with you cooking [Music] all done with cooking now we're gonna enjoy this let me try it a bit scared I've never had something spicy that's well nice is it let me try some that's lovely that flavor thank
