DIGGER STUCK IN THE SEA - WORTHING

[Music] Hey guys, welcome to another juicy vlog. Uh, today I've been off work and George is just on his way back from work now and we're going to head down to the beach and we're going to fly the drone. There's this digger that if you don't live near us, you're going to be like, "What are they on about?" But it's basically it got stuck out at sea. They're sorting out something for the wind farms. I think it got stuck out at sea and it went too far and it like it's now stranded and it's been there for quite a few weeks now. So, we're going to like go and fly the drone and like be like spies and investigate the situation because we don't know what's going on with it, but it's going to be hilarious. Um, and we're going to get some fish and chips, I think, as well before before we do go and fly it. We are in the middle of some ridiculous heatwave. Like, you think I'm overreacting. You think this highlights on fleek? It's sweat. I'm sweating everywhere. I'm sweating from places I didn't even think you could sweat from. You're probably like such an overreactor, but it's it's been like 28 degrees down here at the moment. And that's been for like the past 3 days. Being off work is much better because you can like be in more like flowy clothes. At work, it's not ideal. And I've got a little fan down there that's trying to keep me cool. I've turned it off so you don't hear the fan noise. So, you're welcome. I'm sweating even more now. And I'm wearing my like Marilyn Monroe, I say, inspired dress. It's a fulllength dress, but it's currently as high up as it can go because it's too hot to wear it as a full length dress. And there's not much going on on the makeup side of things today because of how hot it is. But it's love. Like, we complain. Brits are hilarious. It's cold and we're like, we need summer. And then we get a bit of heat and we're like, right, lock up your children. It's too hot. Like, this isn't this isn't working out. Waiting for George to get home now. Oh, have I shown you guys this? Yeah, I painted that the other day and I framed it recently. Our good mate Zach came around and I put that on the wall, but thought it was quite cool. Today's been one of them days where Netflix has asked me if I'm still watching about 14 times as well. So my uh but yeah, I need to press play again cuz I'm quite enjoying this. So I'll see you when George is home. That took ages, but I'm back. Look what the hair does when it's hot. The hair. The hair. I've already said about how hot it is. Not mental. Okay, so I just won't mention the weather that you won't have at the moment. Fine. I've got something for you. Why? Not for you. For you, you Lucy. What? Me? Yeah. Why? Oh, my hay fever is also really bad at the moment. So, if I sound a bit weird. Sorry. What is it? They're really cool. And I don't think we've got any already. What is it? Coffee machine. So, what I'm going to do is make us both an iced coffee every single morning. Hey, me or the vlog? Well, not all of them. I need more capsules for that. Capsules. Capsules. How many How many capsules did you buy? Cuz I need to check if we actually like this one cuz that's the one we had before. No, that's one we had before. Yeah. Do you remember we had iced coffee for ages? That was that one. We do. We've got into our new regime now, guys. We've been really good at it. We've been going to the gym at 6:00 in the morning and then coming home and having like eggs, bacon, avocado on toast, loads of stuff. I love iced coffee and it's so hot at the moment that the normal morning coffee, having a hot one's just not good enough. So, I thought they're cool. Should we get them out? Go on then. Get it out. Do they have lids and straws? No, but I'm not that efficient. Why didn't they have lids and straws? No, that's so 2016. Yeah, you're right. Actually, these are cooler. Just glass. Imagine that. Filled up with ice all the way to the top. But that's too big for an iced coffee. Doesn't work. Them ice iced coffees don't fill that much space. We have to have a double iced coffee then. Um, no thanks. Oh, no. No. Cuz No. No. Back in the box. No, because we're going to go out now. We are going to go out. Have you told them what we're doing? Yeah. Have you told them the main point of this video? What the whisper is? Have you mentioned it? Yeah. I'm so excited. It was a bit misty though when I just drove past it. It's massive. Oh my god, it really is. This fish and chip shop, where is it? Chipwick. It's the best in Worththing if you ever if you ever visit. And it's just reopened. And it is obviously doing really well. Really popular. But it's like the nicest day. It's the longest day of the year today. And it's so so hot. There's so many. Yeah. Lucy just told me. Lucy just told me it's the end of summer. Today is the last day of summer. The end. It's the longest days. It's going to start getting dark. No, not it's madness. There used to be just this bit, but they've knocked all the way into next door. Guys, I've seen my sausage. This guy here. That's mine. The cutest puppy has just arrived. Oh my god. I wanted to stroke it as well. How tiny. So cute. One day can we get a dog? One day. No way. I used to be a cat person. Now I'm a dog person. No, I love cats and I love kittens, but you can't beat a cute puppy. Loads of people out, guys. Tonight. Well, for Worthing, this is busy. You saw the video a couple of days ago. We went to Brighton Beach and now that was busy. But for Worththing, this is pretty busy. Yes, please. Can we appreciate the size of this cod compared to my foot? It's like bigger than my foot. By the way, Lucy is the only person I know who comes to a fish and chip shop and buys chicken nuggets. That's battered brie. That's chicken nuggets. Yeah. And battered brie. We're sharing a chips, guys, cuz we're being healthy. Right. Just looking at where we'll be hopefully flying the drone later. And as the sea is so close, the tide's so in, it looks very far away. Hi, that's the word I was looking for. I'm going to go for a zoom. There's a lot of zooms in this vlog. Right. Right. We're there. Can you see that? Um, right. That little blob, the dark thing is the digger. And obviously, we're in Worthing. That's in Lancing. So, we'll be on the coast looking out at it. But I do still think that is very far away. And we haven't really found it over water much yet. But then the drone doesn't know it's over water. It's more like if something went wrong, we lose it. We lose it. If it falls out the sky anyway, it's probably going to crash and break. So, it's the same thing. Yeah. So, might as well risk it and fly it out to see. Why not? Might as well. Yeah. Not much money, really, is it? Yeah. A lot. We got loads of money though, haven't we? No, we don't. [Music] This is where the mission begins. Let's go. Destination over there somewhere. This is a place here, Perch, where we want to come soon cuz we've heard really good things. They do like nice pancakes. I think I'd come down here early, get coffee, get breakfast. You guys know we love coming out for breakfast. This is not breakfast, it's lunch, isn't it? It's normally about 1:00. Yeah, you know. Oh, there's a gym here as well. Eco gym. Eco gym. Didn't know that. We should go there on on a weekend. We tend to like to lie in in the week. I love getting up at like 5 6 a.m. Hitting the gym. Do you getting a coffee? Love it. Avocado on toast together every single day of my life. No, what I mean is someone's told a really funny joke over there. Brilliant. No, what I mean is I've done that for like the last two or three days, but I'm trying to keep keep it up. Okay, guys. cuz we've come to a different part of the beach and it looks even further and the digger is now just about here. So a minute ago eat and our fish and chips we were way way over there. We've just driven along this road parked over there. Now we're here. Sick. It's nice, isn't it? The new how you wear them now. This is the 2018 way to wear sunglasses, guys. That is quite far actually to fly the drone out. I'm not going to No way am I going to fly right out to see you that. Oh, shall we? Let's see how far we can go without crapping ourselves. I want to go without pooing our panties, pooing your white dress. That would be disgusting. Carefully stay there. Oh, okay. The digger looks much closer now. Just there. If you're wondering the story behind this, I have no idea whatsoever. I think basically they've put wind farms in all the way along the coast. I tried to explain it earlier. Yeah. Did you? And I think it was to do with that they were digging. They got too deep. Yeah. And they just left it for like months and months and months. Months. Yeah. It's been a couple of months now. One, two. [Music] Hey, hey, [Music] It's from the top. Let's go. [Music] Okay. Having to make a quick escape. Not even in focus. Um, a police boat has just turned up and is beeping their horn. Might be us. So, we've uh obviously they're on a boat. We're on shore, so we've made a quick escape. We can get away quicker than they can get to us. Not if they I don't I don't think they're after us. You're allowed to fly a drone over the sea if you want. Yeah, but not over that. It could be some secret government testing. Not at all. Not at all. Mission successful. Completely out of focus. Mission successful overall though. Did it. And we've got the drone. We live to tell. Imagine right now if we were telling you that the drone had gone down in the sea. Oh my god. But that would have made a better title maybe. Yeah. With that thumbnail. We lost our driver. We shouldn't joke about such things. We've got to get out of here. Can you see that light? Okay, it's not coming for us. I think we're good. Maybe it's seen us escape. But look, we lost them. The blue light. That is a police boat. I didn't even know there was such a thing. We've lost him. Let's go. We've seen so many dogs today on this little walk. So many. That little puppy was cute earlier. Should we get to the flat? Yeah. Back in bed, guys. Back to the flat. But yeah, I want to watch Ice Age. Do you want to watch Ice Age? Oh my god. Yeah. It's 10:00. I want to watch like a prop kids film. I don't know why. I've got a real urge to watch Ice Age.
