GOING ON THE i360 AND SURPRISING LUCYS MUM!

good morning today we are we're currently in portsmouth um can you guess where we are we're at a ferry terminal as are we we're off on a road trip today no we're not we're going far away yeah we're going to die my mom's boyfriend surprised her with a trip to the isle of wight for the week for a birthday screaming children everywhere because it's summer holidays we're going to surprise her for the day it's her birthday tomorrow but i'm working tomorrow but i managed to get today off um so we're just going up there to surprise you she's got no idea we're coming and it's gonna be really cool first we need some food we've been up since about six we haven't yet eaten or drank anything so we're gonna get some food here greg's i'm gonna get there's a costa there i actually quite like the coffee grapes do you not yes thank you very much cheers what did you get a bacon and sausage roll oh you legend perfect we have half we have 25 minutes until the ferry i've got a bacon and cheese wrap and a caramel pasta that is a hazelnut ice over iced coffee i got a flat white this is perfect we've just noticed our car is still there we think we're going to be getting on the ferry so we gotta go quick okay good news we haven't missed the ferry lucy was getting a bit panicking because she thought we'd might panic you would just say like thanks to the angle it looks really nice so just while waiting for this ferry i need to tell you guys about something i did this week it was so cool if you live in brighton you may have heard of it the i360 tower it's been built in brighton on brighton seafront it's the tallest observation tower that moves in the world or something like that and i got to go on it it opened yesterday and i got to go on it yesterday through work and it was really cool i filmed some stuff so while i wait for this ferry i'll show you the i360 now [Music] i told the people that no one could park within this distance of my car stop being back on a cruise ship sort of not quite this is so nice we found this little balcony area it's not about look all these all these sun beds we've got two vlogs going on at once we bought this big camera today and we thought the idea would be that we can get different angles and different shots for different people so like on a dual camera mode i've got the bigger and heavier one unlike george i got the little one yeah how nice is this though yeah really nice it's so good when did you last go to the isle of wight then it's 2010 so i was 13 years old and i've been texting my mum she got there yesterday and they're staying in the hotel that we've seen when we were kids apparently they'll remember me and stuff so it'd be good like and see them today your mum has no idea we're coming to surprise her i was all over facebook last night and i was like i'm so jealous and she was like i wish you could be here too it's not the same without you yeah she's going to be like a warm day today bright in uh where are we portsmouth we have to drive to portsmouth to get his ferry it's a nice warm day just having a t-shirt on a boat i was at an awards ceremony once right up here in the top of this that was cool music we played it's good for you to think so for those of you who don't think too much i'm just telling you about that before having a quick check on pokemon go um let's see i want to try and catch a magikarp i look nearby what is a slowpoke doing in the sea i thought we'd take this time to shout out some people read some comments on our recent videos hello thanks for watching us he said could you give me when she was coming someone said please have a baby thank you keep pushing there oh yeah also we found out we found out yesterday that we can have our flat on the first of september two whole weeks earlier than we're expecting that's literally that's four weeks a month yesterday before yeah so excited because we can get in a bit earlier get pains here the annoying thing is we put all our furniture coming the date we expected so it's like now delayed that but i guess we can go in clean and paint like make it perfect for when we have the week off work and actually have moving properly so i think it's quite a good thing i don't know if you can hear us in here it's very loud we literally need to be so careful they're down there so past this wall is the beach and like the promenade area and that's where she is at the moment they're probably right down on the beach so we actually we need to crawl they're down there on that beach cannot be seen we've got to be hidden if you see someone vlogging you'll notice that who else vlogs in the yellow along i'm so scared they're going to see us they're literally down here somewhere all right put it away okay get down get down that way she's over the road i don't know if they saw us or not we've got to get under this bush so the surprise worked really really well we're here it's a lovely day we didn't bring any cash with us no because we don't generally carry cash and obviously nowhere cards accepted is that good i think now we're going to go and play some crazy golf and then get some lunch oh that's your favorite get these for me please yeah no get them for me buy them for me come back oh look at this what are you doing my embarrassment level's going up and up i cannot cope with him he's like a child just finished crazy golf we're getting in the scores right now in last place with 83 points is jeremy yes [Music] come on in the second place in first place with 51 points yeah me you won no you didn't oh that's a coincidence isn't it the person who was keeping track of the scores george don't take it too bad she had the pencil come some lunch at a very nice beachside restaurant pub thing there's pirates everywhere you don't get better than that for a view for lunch do you no not you that this is so cool literally the sea is there and i am here having a good day yes thank you it's all this nice stuff on here steak cottage pie a whole meal whole menu for seafood what am i going for a chicken burger that's what you want double chicken burger with cheese made a friend in the pub he doesn't look too good we've treated everyone look at this this burger is huge double chicken macaroni with chunky bread beetroot thank you time to go to the beach each i thought it was a cloudy day today so i wore black jeans to begin with yeah so i had to borrow some shorts love it they're a bit big but they'll do bella you're going i think so i've got my coffee on oh no i'm just gonna sunbathe i think i'm getting burnt already though here and here yeah i'm more friendly and my makeup will come off here just need to close the door on me press it and i'll run in actually i'm scared oh the beach is gorgeous yeah we'll show you in one sec george has taken his trainers off because um apparently the sound's like really orangey so it's like stains it's very nice it's like um what time is it four o'clock and it's still like really hot and everyone's still out here look at that how nice so nice in england so nice because so many of you are away at the moment on holiday we've been seeing loads of your holiday photos and stuff like that so it's nice to pretend we're away for like a day isn't it [Music] [Applause] is it cold this camera isn't waterproof at all so i'm not going to go much further into the sea what we really want to get is a gopro so in november we're going to be swimming with turtles lucy's kicking me oh you got my shorts sweater it's your phone in these pockets which are getting wet so yeah in november we're going to be swimming with turtles in the caribbean so we're definitely going to get a gopro for that then we can go like underwater hopefully see the fishes and stuff if any of you know anything about gopros then please let me know we're looking at getting the session it's the cheapest one so let me know if it's any good run run push me into the road sorry we're finally off to get those ice creams that we looked at earlier my free ice cream there are so many flavors aren't there will you have like marshmallow or something thank you very much these people who work at this ice cream place have been so nice and letting us try some of the flavors before we choose because there's so many [Music] oh that's good yeah toffee chocolate fudge please yeah that's fine thank you very much so fat man scoop over here decided to get two scoops of ice cream which is a massive coke it was up here and now everyone else has finished and gone over to the arcade and i'm sat here waiting for finish there's coconut and candy floss and i love both of them flavors so i had to get both if you're on the isle of wight go to toppings we've had such a lovely day today it is half past five we're on a nine o'clock very home so we gotta leave quite soon haven't we really um no i think i've been in there like a couple of hours we don't want to miss it it's about half an hour stranded on the island we never just go away away from for one day do we look at my new phone case yes everyone's seen that on instagram already a hundred times nice poster never skipped leg day good advice george can we just read how sunburned your face is it goes brown in one day we'll test this tomorrow yeah it will be brown okay [Music] i'm not going to do a voicemail no because if we have to get our meal so if i talk to him for a long period of time [Music] just do it oh yeah half nine yeah yeah all right half nine half yeah maybe luckily there's a pub right next to the ferry port so we're going to try and get some dinner hopefully that will pass the time gotta stay positive these things happen and yeah let's go get some food it's actually quite relaxing sometimes it's good to be delayed look at this red sky oh wait hang on hang on hang on there we go look at that red sky i've been looking at the menu again and because i had a chicken burger earlier i think i'm gonna get a beef burger now we should be sailing in 29 minutes but instead i'm sat here with my glass of bay leaves as you do i can't complain um before i'd rather be doing this and driving home but i'm just panicking my butt if i have work tomorrow i have no issue but i just know i've got so much to work but if i get to bed late then i'm going to be not very good at my job george has gone to order the food and um i've just come over here to get a picture of the sunset but i've actually walked about five minutes away so he's gonna come back to the table and be like where have she gone but hopefully it'll be worth it oh it's definitely worth it wow look at this now that's probably the ferry that we should be on and it's um gonna come in drop the people off in the isle of wight and then go back and i'm pretty sure that will be the one that we meant to have got thank you very much brilliant thanks so here it is burger number two of the day and i added the bacon even though i said i didn't need it i've got a nice you got a nice healthy salad this is what i should be eating but now update we've had our dinner um we're now back at the port what's it called a pool yeah we're not back there and we're back in a queue um it's now ten to ten the ferris wheel we went to get meant to leave at half nine so we're hoping there's really good food by the way yeah it was really nice had a nice drink and stuff and just chilled out a bit got to the beach was amazing and you went and saw it afterwards as well didn't you yeah and but someone had to stay in the reserve table but we couldn't go together but i've got really sunburned today i don't know if you can see it on facebook definitely see that it's so hot so ready for bed now um yeah so we're gonna try and hook up netflix on george's phone so we can like watch them like balance it i want to like balance it there or something yeah that'd be fine we'll turn the eye driver we have no idea how long we're gonna stay on here for i've got low fuel as well oh my god this is an actual disaster waiting to happen it is a disaster it's not waiting to happen it has happened this is a disaster this vlog has been going so so smoothly today literally the whole day's gone to plan yeah we've got the ferry there was no traffic we surprised your mom without her noticing it's amazing such a nice day lying on the beach because not all good things come to an end i'm afraid to be fair for every negative for every bad thing that happens a good thing comes out of it um we had a nice dinner yeah i got to have a second burger of the day and now we're just chilling all we'd be doing at home is this sitting down i'd be in bed this is comfy you can like recline your chair fine okay we have finally got home just now our ferry was three hours delayed and yeah we tweeted them and stuff so because not one of the staff said sorry there was no apology no kind of like compensation or anything so we tweeted them last time lucy tweeted amazon and complained she got a 10 pound voucher never know this sunburn is really starting to show up now hopefully now it will go around i told you i'll go brown it'll definitely go brown by tomorrow anyway
