Welcome to Texas. Especially when you live on a busy road. Yeah, that's true. You live on a highway. Anyway. Mission Souls, in the Philippines. Have done a... I think this is the most recent studio cover from them. They did a cover of an Avenged Sevenfold song. The song is from... When was this released? The song is from 2011. It's called So Far Away. I honestly am not getting done. Yeah, you shouldn't. Well, I mean, you might have heard bits of it on social media. That's how I know music. And the song was actually originally written by them. As a tribute to their original drummer. Jimmy The Rev Sullivan. Who died in his sleep in December of 2009. So, this song was basically a tribute to him. And now Mission Souls are coming along and covering it. I think this is the first time we've actually reacted to... A Mission Souls cover from a heavy metal band. As well. I think. I don't think so. We've done quite a few as well. Yeah, we've done quite a few. But I don't think we've done any... I don't think we've done any of... That's why you consider it heavy metal. Wow. Yeah, it's kids only this time. And then blanked on the fact that. Oh yeah. The dad is usually playing bass. And this time we have the keyboardist playing bass. So my brain was kind of filtering that on the side. I mean, I know she knows how to play two instruments. That's true. Actually, I think I might have mentioned that in the past. We've got a long list of, this one does this, this one does this. Ice hits drums. I'll be on my way to live eternally. Waste of time, always on my mind. And the light you left remains but it's so hard to stay. When I have so much to say, but you're so far away. That's the bit where you think the song is finished, but it actually hasn't. What was I going to say? I don't know. Yeah, you did what? That's the worrying part. Oh, I've heard of Avenged Sevenfold. But I'm not actually sure if I've heard anything from Avenged Sevenfold. I think it's one of those bands that, you know, I know the name of. But I'm not actually sure if I've heard anything from them. You probably actually have. I mean, I probably have. I just, yeah. Yeah, they probably have. I mean, most new songs, which I consider 2011. Anything past 2000 is pretty much new. Anything past mid-1990. With a few exceptions. That's where it stopped. Yeah, I'll have to actually end up looking at their list of famous songs. Actually, I really like that song, I think. Yeah, because I'd be curious to know. It's a really good song for them. Yeah, I'd be curious to know how much of a departure from their usual style is this song. Because of, you know, the subject matter and stuff at hand. Avenged Sevenfold, this is kind of like, is most of their stuff really heavy? Yeah, you know. Stuck a last pause in because the end section was actually surprisingly long. YouTube, yes. Especially since they're cracking down more on the action channels now. This is actually a really good one for showing off their room. Playing ability as well. Because, you know, especially recently they've been doing a lot of songs from the 60s, 70s or so. Which, yeah, they're fun songs and stuff. But they're a bit less complicated, shall we say? Whereas this is more... You shall see. Whereas this is more complicated, instrumentally speaking. So basically they get a chance to show off a lot. Yeah. Yeah, I'm excited to see where they're going to be in, you know, 10, 15, 20 years. Because, I mean, playing like that at such a young age. Yeah. And getting introduced to such great music. Yeah, that was a good song. Yeah, that was actually a really good song as well. Yeah, with them keeping at it, it's like just how much better will they get? We do see a lot with some of the artists that we react to that started when they were young. You watch some of the videos from when they were young. And it's kind of like, oh, you're pretty good now. And then you watch them now, 10, 15 years later in the case of some of them. And it's kind of like, wow, yeah, you can... Especially if you make a couple of stops along the way. Yeah. It's kind of like you can. You can literally just see how much better they're getting. And Mission Souls is no exception. You watch their early releases, which we've hit one or two. You watch the early stuff that they dropped on YouTube and then jump to something like this. You can see a clear jump in how much they've improved. Yeah. Obviously, their lovely lead singer right there, she really has improved a lot. Yeah. You can tell how much more confident she is in her voice now than she was when they began. Right. It's kind of like early on, I think they could have attempted doing a song like that. But I think when they started, I don't think it would have worked that well. I don't think she had... Back in those early videos, I don't think she would have had the confidence to be able to nail something like that. Yeah. Which she can now. So yeah. Imagine what it'll be in a few years. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. How good are they going to be in another 10 years, for example? Well, obviously another great one from them. We're going to continue hitting them up.
