New COVID Chaos in China: U.S.-China Trade War: Chinese Goods Collapse, Ports Paralyzed!
COVID-19 Resurges. Darkness Engulfs China.
Like a nightmare returning, the COVID-19 pandemic is roaring across mainland China,
sowing terror among the people. According to data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control
and Prevention CDC, since April, the rate of positive coronavirus tests has surged dramatically,
a chilling warning of the invisible reaper's comeback. Yet, instead of facing the truth,
the Chinese Communist Party, CCP, has erected an iron curtain of information,
sealing off all transparency, leaving citizens to stumble in the shadows of doubt and fear.
Amid the storm of the pandemic, heart-wrenching stories from ordinary people cut like knives.
Mr. Tsai, a resident of Zhengzhou, shared with the Epoch Times the terrifying scene at the
first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University, Asia's largest hospital with 10,000 beds.
The facility has become a medical battlefield, corridors overflowing with patients,
groans mingling with the sound of hurried footsteps. When he arrived to deliver lunch,
the sheer density of the crowd sent shivers down his spine. Eight elevators ran non-stop,
yet they couldn't handle the crush of people, many waiting hours in despair.
But what chilled Mr. Tsai's heart most wasn't the crowd. It was the mysterious deaths occurring
daily. Numerous sudden deaths have struck within the hospital, yet the truth behind these fatalities
is concealed. Doctors under pressure from the authorities fabricate causes of death,
leaving grieving families drowned in anguish and outrage, unaware of why their loved ones perished.
Choking back tears, Mr. Tsai recounted how two friends, one just over 40, the other in his early
50s, both in robust health, died suddenly under enigmatic circumstances. They left without
explanation, without any truth revealed, he said, his voice brimming with fury. Even more horrifying,
patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are kept in the dark by the hospital. Mr. Tsai condemned the
authorities. The government forbids speaking out. All information about the pandemic is completely
suppressed. Since the CCP seized power in 1949, they've never uttered a single honest word.
They cannot be trusted, he highlighted a painful irony. While the streets lie deserted due to
declining consumption, the areas around hospitals are unnaturally bustling, a silent alarm that the
outbreak is spreading far beyond what the authorities admit. Living on Kung Fu Qian Street
in Zhenzhou's Erqi District, Mr. Tsai He has witnessed a terrifying reality. This area, home to
three major hospitals, the 5th Affiliated Hospital, the 3rd Affiliated Hospital of Zhenzhou University,
and the Hunan Armed Police Corps Hospital, has become a hub of loss. Stores selling funeral
supplies, from coffins to ritual items, have sprung up like mushrooms, and recently their business has
been booming unprecedented. That says it all, Mr. Tsai said bitterly. Though the authorities report
rising infection numbers, Mr. Tsai insists the reality is three times worse. If they claim a
10% increase, the truth is at least 30%, maybe more. Their data is riddled with exaggeration
and lies, he said. In Jilin, Mr. Tsai shared an equally devastating story. Lately, so many people
have had fevers and colds, kids and adults alike. I know three or four people who've died, from all
age groups. Some were perfectly healthy, one ate breakfast, went to the bathroom and dropped dead.
At the hospital, doctors say nothing, leaving their deaths shrouded in mystery. In Tangshan,
Hebei, Mr. Hua described hospitals as resembling doomsday markets. They're packed to the brim,
with so many deaths that crematoriums can't keep up. It's like the end of the world, he said,
his voice trembling. Amid the losses, annoying suspicion spreads among the people. Could the
sudden deaths, white lung disease and cardiovascular issues be linked to COVID-19 vaccine side effects?
Ms. Liu from Tangshan shared her anguish. So many sudden deaths, crematoriums overwhelmed.
People I know who got the vaccine developed cervical cancer, prostate cancer, strokes.
This vaccine is harmful, Mr. Wang from Beijing added. Healthy people with no underlying conditions
became frail after the vaccine. Many young people got three shots, then kept catching
colds, developing white lung. I'm certain it's the vaccine's fault. Though these suspicions
remain unverified, we urgently call on the people of China. Protect yourselves, wear masks when going
out, avoid crowds, because safety comes first. In the darkness of concealed truths, only vigilance
can save you and your family. Wujian shoe factory scam, owner vanishes with 400 million yuan.
A massive financial scandal has erupted in Fujian, China, where the owner of a long-standing shoe
manufacturing company vanished overnight, leaving behind unpaid debts totaling nearly 400 million
yuan. The company, Zinda Footwear Co Ltd, had been in operation for nearly 30 years, during which
it lured hundreds of local villagers to deposit their life savings under the guise of high interest
investment returns. The company operated a monthly deposit scheme eerily similar to a formal bank,
accepting money at its office during a three-day window, issuing official-looking IOUs and promising
interest rates higher than any legitimate financial institution. Villagers, many of them
elderly or low-income workers, placed blind faith in the company due to its local reputation and the
familiarity of its owner, Tang Qingyuan. But faith turned into despair when Tang and his family
abruptly disappeared, abandoning both the factory and their home. Some reports claim they fled
abroad, though local authorities have issued no official confirmation. Panic ensued as crowds of
angry villagers gathered at the company's gates and later at the district government office,
desperate to recover what many described as their last hope for retirement. Zinda Footwear, once a
symbol of local stability, is now under scrutiny for running what appears to be a massive Ponzi
scheme under the radar of financial regulators. Victims range from small investors with tens of
thousands of yuan to those who had invested millions. No refunds, no arrests, and no official
response, only silence from the authorities. As China's economy falters and trust in financial
institutions dwindles, illegal fundraising scams like this continue to thrive in regulatory gray
zones. The full impact of this collapse is just beginning to unfold, but one thing is clear. For
many families in that village, the future has already been stolen. North Korean destroyer
capsizes during launch ceremony. North Korea's latest attempt to showcase its naval ambitions
has ended in humiliation. During a high-prefaceful launch ceremony attended by Supreme Leader Kim
Jong-un on May 22, a newly built 5,000-ton destroyer suffered a critical failure and
capsized during its descent into water. Constructed at the Chongjin shipyard, the warship experienced a
catastrophic malfunction when the rear supports detached too early, ripping holes in the hull and
causing the ship to list heavily before coming to an abrupt halt, half-submerged and immobile.
Satellite images confirmed the ship had tilted dangerously and failed to enter the water properly.
The cause? A mix of poor engineering, inexperienced workers, and non-existent launch
infrastructure. Analysts suggest the shipyard lacked the proper slope and systems needed for
large-scale warship deployment. North Korea had reportedly attempted a side-launch technique
never before used domestically. An amateur gamble that ended in disaster. Kim Jong-un present at the
scene was visibly enraged. He condemned the incident as an unforgivable act of negligence
and political sabotage and ordered the wreckage to be repaired before the end of June. The regime's
failed attempt at projecting military power has instead exposed serious weaknesses in Pyongyang's
The destroyer was believed to be a sister ship to the Choe Hyun-class,
touted by Kim as part of North Korea's growing nuclear strike fleet. Its failure casts doubt
not only on the country's military prowess, but also on the credibility of recent claims
about defense modernization. Though state media has remained silent, South Korean experts and
international watchdogs have begun piecing together the details. If Russian technology
or support was involved, as some suspect, the accident may also reflect deeper complications
in the Pyongyang-Moscow alliance. In a rare move, Pyongyang appears to be allowing certain details
of the failure to leak, likely a strategy by Kim to maintain control over internal narrative
and avoid damaging rumors among his officials. But for observers abroad, the takeaway is clear.
Behind North Korea's aggressive propaganda lies a crumbling defense industry struggling to mask
its dysfunction.
A growing bribery scandal involving Chinese tech giant Huawei has sent shockwaves through
the European political landscape. Five current members of the European Parliament stand accused
of accepting illegal gifts and payments from Huawei in exchange for promoting policies
favorable to the company. On May 21, European Parliament President Roberta Mezzola publicly
named the implicated individuals, Fulvio Martusiello, Giuseppe Prinzi, and Salvatore
De Meo from Italy, Daniel Attar from Malta, and Nikolai Minchev from Bulgaria. Belgian prosecutors
are now requesting that their parliamentary immunity be lifted to proceed with criminal
investigations. According to investigators, Huawei allegedly used lavish travel perks,
football match tickets, and undisclosed cash incentives to curry favor with policymakers
since at least 2021. Offices in Brussels, France, and Portugal, including those within the EU
Parliament, have already been raided. Eight people have been indicted, including a senior
Huawei executive in Europe, facing charges of bribery, money laundering, and organized corruption.
Each of the five politicians has denied wrongdoing, but their explanations are riddled
with inconsistencies. One admitted to attending a Huawei-sponsored VIP event but claimed ignorance.
Another signed a letter criticizing EU restrictions on Chinese tech firms while
insisting no connection to the bribes. Denials continue to pile up, even as the evidence mounts.
As the European Parliament moves to revoke their legal protections,
internal probes into their staff members and associates are also underway.
Entry access to all implicated individuals has already been revoked. Huawei, for its part,
flatly denies all allegations, insisting the company follows the law and does not engage in
corruption. Yet public opinion tells a different story. Online users mock the company's denials,
pointing to Beijing's long history of political manipulation and corporate influence buying abroad.
The scandal continues to unfold and threatens to deepen public mistrust in both Chinese companies
and the integrity of European institutions. Canada. The Shadow of CCP Interference.
Farther north, Canada is gripped by anxiety as its federal election draws near. On April 28,
citizens will head to the polls to elect a new leader, but the specter of interference from the
Chinese Communist Party, CCP, looms large over the country. A report by the Canadian Security
Intelligence Service, CSIS, confirmed that the CCP interfered in two previous elections,
using the social media platform WeChat, widely used by Canada's two million ethnic Chinese,
to manipulate public opinion. A recent disinformation campaign on WeChat,
believed to be orchestrated by Beijing, praised incumbent Prime Minister Mark Carney and suggested
he would deepen cooperation with China if re-elected. Human rights activist Shen Yu
issued a stark warning. CCP interference is real, this is not just a topic for discussion,
it demands immediate action. Both the conservative and liberal parties have issued countermeasures.
The liberals pledged to modernize national security tools and criminalize transnational
repression, while the conservatives promised to expedite Bill C-70, which strengthens anti-money
laundering laws, often tied to foreign interference efforts. But with election day approaching,
fears of CCP manipulation continue to grow, threatening to undermine confidence in
Canada's democratic institutions. The CCP. Backing Russia's war machine?
On the international stage, the CCP has emerged as a key enabler of global chaos,
most notably through its support of Russia's war in Ukraine. Since 2013, Xi Jinping has met
with Vladimir Putin 63 times, solidifying a no-limits partnership, just before Russia's
second invasion of Ukraine, in 2022. Since then, bilateral trade has surged by 63%,
with China supplying $300 million, zero cents' worth of dual-use components each month,
semiconductors, ball bearings and electronics, used in Russian tanks, drones and missiles.
These supplies have allowed Russia to maintain its military capabilities,
despite sweeping international sanctions. China has also become Moscow's largest oil customer,
purchasing discounted crude that funds further arms imports. This financial loop enables Russia
to continue arming not only itself, but also rogue states like Iran and Venezuela.
Beijing has refused to condemn the invasion, offering diplomatic cover for the Kremlin on
the global stage. Without China's backing, Russia's war machine would likely have collapsed long ago.
The upcoming Xi Putin summit on May 9 in Moscow is expected to further strengthen
this dangerous alliance, pushing the world closer to the edge of all-out conflict.
Meanwhile, a deadly explosion at an Iranian port has claimed at least 40 lives and sent
shockwaves through the region just days after the third round of U.S.-Iran nuclear talks.
Security firm Ambri attributed the blast to mishandling of missile fuel chemicals
imported from China. Though Iran's Ministry of Defense has denied involvement,
Beijing's role raises alarm about the CCP's indirect contributions to instability in the
Middle East. Images of rising black smoke, bloodied victims and scorched vehicles serve
as a grim reminder of how a single mistake, fueled by strategic negligence, can trigger mass
casualties. The incident underscores the growing threat of China's opaque arms trade
reaching volatile regions. Amid mounting tensions with the United States,
Beijing made a symbolic move by lifting sanctions on several EU lawmakers.
These sanctions, imposed in 2021 in response to EU criticism of China's human rights abuses in
Xinjiang, had frozen an already stalled investment agreement. The gesture appears to be a desperate
attempt to salvage collapsing trade relations with Europe. Yet the comprehensive agreement
on investment is now considered obsolete. The EU has maintained its sanctions, and the prospect
of renewed talks is remote. Trapped between U.S. pressure and European distrust, China is rapidly
losing its global alliances. Shanghai. Canada. Ukraine. Iran. Each is a puzzle piece in an
increasingly grim global landscape. From trade wars to election interference, from weapons
shipments to human rights violations, the fingerprints of the Chinese Communist Party
are found on every front of unrest. Trade has slowed, jobs are disappearing,
societies are fracturing. The question no longer lies in whether a turning point has been reached,
but whether anything lies at the end of this tunnel at all.
Or is the world entering a new era, one where darkness consumes everything?
