Here at home, let's take a look at our weather and 445 this morning,
weather and traffic on the fives towards D.C. as we get
this Tuesday started and a much different story.
We are dealing with some beautiful weather here at home.
We definitely are, Jacqueline. We are much drier out here.
You can continue to see that almost all three airports showing
either mostly clear or all clear skies, right, and temperatures.
are responding to that most
of us sitting either around 50 degrees here closer towards DC or back
in towards those mid to upper 40s that we see going on at Dulles
and at BWI so not too cool out there but the good thing is
If you're looking for a warm-up, well, just wait a couple hours.
We are expecting to see more sunshine out there,
as well as the southerly flow drawing in more of that warmth as well.
So, we'll have those two combining factors to help boost
our temperatures back in towards the 70s and even some upper 60s.
So, again, expect to see great conditions out there.
So, if you do have to wait in line at one of the polls,
well, it's not too bad here in the weather department.
So, pretty nice out there.
As we continue going in towards the rest of today, expect to see,
again, winds out of the south at about 5 to 10 miles an hour,
not necessarily too breezy out there,
and those temperatures quite comfortably in the 70s.
And as we head in towards the overnight hours, those clear skies start
to work against us a little, and we drop back down towards
those mid to low 50s for the overnight lows, but for the most part,
not necessarily as cold as what we've been seeing.
So we'll take a little bit of that, right?
Then as we head towards futurecast,
you'll see when is the next best chance of rain.
It's been quite dry out there.
Well, don't worry.
As we head in towards the end of the work week, if your lawn has
been looking a little on the gray and brown side, right?
Well.
This will help us out a little.
As we head towards around Thursday morning,
we'll start to see a slow push of some showers here.
So about by 7 a.m., we could see some of that rain making
its way closer towards the Beltway region.
Then by about the afternoon,
things become a little bit more scattered and isolated by that time
and really not going to see all that much of a washout, right?
As we head in towards parts of Friday, similar situation,
starting to see a few showers popping up there as well.
But the good thing is if you want the warmth,
well, this week is the week for you
because we'll be back in towards those mid-70s,
well in towards about Thursday
and even still seeing 70 degrees here for about that Friday time frame.
So certainly not too bad out there, especially when our...
Our average high for this time of year is 63,
so we're about 10 to almost 15 degrees above average.
As we look at the rest of this week, again,
those rain showers popping up by about Thursday, Friday,
a little bit of a break by Saturday,
and then clouds do return by about Sunday,
and still a slight chance for some rain showers
as we start off the new work week.
