Come to Catalina to skate in the Wrigley Ballroom | Professional Roller Skater

Oh, this is so fun. What an experience. I have lived in Orange County my entire life. He's lived not in Orange County his entire life, but in Southern California, his entire life. And I've never been to Catalina. You've never been to Catalina? We've never been to Catalina. So today is the day. And today is the day because Wrigley Ballroom is allowing people to roller skate in the ballroom. This ballroom, you'll see when we get there, is beautiful. Like I, any, what is that one concert venue in L.A. that I say the floor is like meant to be a skating floor? The Palladium. It looks like that. Like the floor looks so skatable. And anyone I've talked to has been like, oh, my God, I've always wanted to skate there. And now they made that a reality. So I cannot bring my own skates. I can't have my own skates to skate on the floor because it's a historic building. Which I totally understand, but kind of a bummer. Not so much a bummer because I don't want to carry those around all day. So we're going to Catalina for the day. It is almost 1 p.m. And we're just going to be there pretty much until sunset. So. We're going to go skate there. It smells like a convention center. It makes me a little nervous. You were totally an Instagram model walking up there, mentoring Olivia. OK, I'm going to go skate. I'm so excited to be here. I am a little afraid of wearing rentals. I don't know the last time I wore rentals. Look at that. I did so good. I matched it. These are actually nice. They're Rydell. The action is what I'm worried about. Like, I'm worried that it's not going to be loose at all for edges. Oh, it's decent. OK. Oh, I'm excited now. Oh, you don't want me to walk there. I'm so sorry. This is a good workout. I'm so noisy. Oh, boy. I got to get my bearings a bit. This heel. Look how short it is. So I'm like. Back on my heels. It is so slippery. Like I can. I need to try a heel toe. Or is that family in my frame just watching me? I've always wanted to hockey slide, I probably could now. This is so much fun. The skates are a little scary. The wheels are very slippery. Also, my left truck is looser than my right truck. So I keep getting really brave and going to do things. And then I realize like, oh, I can't move as well as I'm used to. But it's so cool being in here like the floor. Look at the floor. It's so fast to like any ballroom floor like this was made for skating. Oh, it's so fun. Imagine the performances that have been on this stage. Oh, this is so fun. What an experience. Also, the ceiling. Come on. Wow.
