Ortur LaserMaster 2 S2 Unboxing And Assembly

Greetings and welcome to Deager Woodworking. Today we're unboxing and assembling the Our Laser Master 2 S2 laser engraver. It should take about 30 minutes beginning to end. So, let's head into the shop. [Music] down. [Music] I recently purchased the UOR Laser Master 2S2 as a replacement for my previous desktop laser engraver that bit the dust. Unfortunately, I couldn't get replacement parts for it. So, after several weeks of research, I landed on the Our Laser Master 2. It's an entry-level laser engraver that will meet most of my needs in the shop, and it comes at an entry-level price of around $200 to $250, depending on when and where you purchase it. [Music] The first part of this video is just the unboxing so you get an idea of the parts and pieces included. I used a Phillips screwdriver for most of the assembly. I'm not going to narrate the entire video as I've tried to be detailed in the video as to how the unit is assembled. If a particular step seemed difficult, I'll annotate it in those sections. Now, that wasn't too difficult, was it? In order to use the laser, you will need some software like Laser Gerbal, which is free basic software, or LightBurn, which is a paid software. For almost everything I've done so far, I've been able to get by with Laser Gerbal. There are many videos out there on how to use it.
