Hey guys, welcome to the channel. This is an urgent warning to all black people.
Please listen to this closely guys. This is critical. The information I'm going to share with you guys is super duper important.
But first, let me say this guys.
This channel is for everyone and I offer advice to reach financial freedom to anyone, but let's be real.
Let's keep it real. I'm a black man in America and as a black man in America, I have a duty.
I have a responsibility and most of all guys, I have an obligation to help black people in America.
Really for two reasons. One, black people have been behind in America in every personal, financial,
economical, statistic and category for 400 years, right? Last in net worth, last in
business ownership, we're last in home ownership.
We're last in a lot of categories and we know that there's a historical reason for this, right?
Slavery lasted for 250 years. It was against the law for black people to have or own anything
for over 250 years. That's a long, long time and it's only been 160 years or so that slavery has
officially been over, right? But that's a long history of blacks being purposely cut out of the
money, cut out of the economics and basically held down. Sure, after you had slavery, you had a
10-year period of reconstruction, but then you quickly had Jim Crow laws set in that further
kept black people behind and down and out economically. And basically, Jim Crow was basically
slavery by a different name. Then you had redlining kicking in where blacks could only
live in certain areas, couldn't get loans for houses and so forth. So, you had a lot of these
things historically keeping black people behind. Now, the second reason that I help black people
is because I'm a black man. In America, I'm a black person, right? Chinese people help Chinese
people, right? Koreans help Koreans. Mexicans help Mexicans. Native Americans help Native Americans.
It's absolutely nothing wrong with black people who have been systemically oppressed in many areas
to help other black people. That's what I do on this channel. Now, with all that said,
my message to black people is simply this, right? We can do it. We have what it takes. We can do this
right now. Now, we have an opportunity to make some changes. Now, we can change our mind. Now,
we can do better. We know our parents had a rough time, right? They were hardworking. They didn't
have much. Many of our great grandparents and grandparents, they couldn't read, couldn't drive,
couldn't write or had issues. Many of them could. Now, don't get me wrong. Many of them could,
but they didn't have some of the same opportunities that we have today. We can do more. We have more
opportunities. Now, there's less excuses. We can research. We can Google. We can build money. We
can make money. We can keep money. We can invest money. Some of those things are things they
could not do before, but the opportunities now are here for us, man, 2023, 2024, 2025,
2026 and beyond, right at the tip of our fingers. We got this now. Now, we can be in control of our
financial destiny. Now, we can change our minds, right? It's going to start with our minds, but we
got to have a mind frame, a mindset. I see too many black people who have a short-term way of
thinking when it comes to money, right? We want the instant gratification. We need to start thinking
long-term with money, with finances. We can't be thinking about the now, the concert this weekend,
the party this weekend, the event coming up. We got to be thinking about six months down the road,
six years down the road, 12 and 15 years, 20 years. What about our grandchildren,
our great-grandchildren? We have to be thinking about right now buying income-producing assets
that are going to go up in value, getting involved in the stock market, getting involved in buying
index funds and ETFs, building a cash-flowing business with employees. That's how you do it,
man. That's what we should be concentrating on right now. Listen, I was there. I was 30 years
old with a negative net worth. Today, 20 years later, I have close to a seven-figure net worth.
And I don't say that to brag. I say that to say, listen, I came from nothing, zero as a grown man,
right? Grew up poor. I didn't grow up with two parents in the household, you know, everybody
working in a middle-class family. No, I grew up poor, poor. And if I can grow up poor, poor
from a child and then be 30 years old and still have a negative net worth and do what I did,
you can do it. But it's all about changing our mindset. I've been there. Trust me. I
totally understand the mind frame that's been baked into our brains, that's been put in our
brains about, you know, we're less than, you know, we don't have nothing. We may not ever
have nothing. It's difficult. It's hard. You know, this complaint, that complaint.
But we need to focus on doing better. We need to focus on getting better skills,
saving, investing in appreciating assets that are going up in value like real estate and land.
And I know there's negative thinking out there that stems from the hundreds of years of not
having nothing. I get it. But listen, it's all going to start with how we think. We have to
also as black people hold each other accountable. Those that know need to share with black people.
Those that don't know need to listen to those who know. If you have someone in front of you
who looks like you as a black person, listen to them. They don't always want to get your money.
Sometimes there's people in front of you as a black person that just want to help you
because they want to help black people. You don't always have to get the information you trust
from someone that does not look like you. Sometimes there's people that look like you
that have all the information you need. There are people, those people can help you gain wealth,
but you have to be willing to listen to those people. Hey guys, it all starts in our mind.
We have to be thinking differently and we have to be prioritizing money. Now listen closely.
I'm not telling you that you need to worship money. I'm not saying that at all. Because when
you worship money, you'll ultimately be worshiping the people who have the most money and you will
definitely shy away from the people who have the least money. Well, who do we say has the most
money? And we all know who has the least money. So this gets worked into our mind frame. But I'm
telling you, don't worship money. Don't worship the people who have the most money because
ultimately you'll be doing things you don't want to do for money. You'll be losing your morals and
values for money or to please the people that have the most money so they can give you some of
their money. Don't do that. Do not worship money. But I do want you to spend some time focusing on
money. Spend some time being intentional with money, right? Not on spending money, but on growing
money. Look, I don't want to take anything away from advanced education, right? Because I really,
really, really believe strongly in a good, solid, specific education with a specific major or some
specific trade or skill. I really believe in that. So I don't want to take anything from higher
education or take anything from any education because I believe in education. I have an
associate's degree and a bachelor's degree. And I have some hours towards a master's degree, right?
So I'm educated with a college degree. I don't want to take anything from education. I don't
want to take anything from politics and the importance of laws and also the importance of
the struggles to fight for freedom and marching and pushing and trying to get laws and things
passed in favor of helping Black people. But listen to me, Black people. Black people's advances
in America are going to happen when we embrace the economics, right? Our advances must be
in an economic, on an economical front. We live in America. And in America, like 99% of the world
right now, it's based on resources. It's based on land. It's based on capital. It's based on the
ability to manufacture, distribute, et cetera. It's based on economics, right? We need to become
more economically savvy, right? That's what it's based on. Politics and education, all that stuff
is wonderful, but you got to have some capital. You have to have money to control politicians.
You have to have money to have education, to get education, right? The types of education
you're going to want to need and have, right? Otherwise, if you don't focus on the money,
then what's going to happen is you're going to be always, you're going to always be sponsored
by somebody else. You're going to always be controlled by somebody else. You're going to
find yourself always looking for charity from somebody else or some other group to help you,
right? You don't want that. Nothing is free, but you have to focus on your economics. You want
ownership and control of resources. Ownership and control. And then you pass down the ownership
and control of those resources to the next generation, right? Politics and education are
critical, but money, resources, and capital is what makes the world you live in go around,
right? We didn't all, nobody asked to be here right now. We're here right now. So we got to do
what we got to do right now. We don't have time to complain about capitalism or complain about
hustle culture or complain about some of these things that we like to complain about. And I hear
it, right? I'm just being honest that I hear it all the time. Not every black person, of course,
but some of us are baked into, have baked into our brain that we complain about things and we
don't need to be complaining. We don't have time for that right now. We got to get going. We have
some opportunities at our fingertips, guys, and I'm not, I don't want to discount the history.
The history is there and we know it. I know it very well, right? But hey, I was a history teacher.
I taught history and social studies for nearly a decade. I know the history, but right now,
we got to compete. We got to compete with money and we got to compete with resources in the
society we live in. You either own or you're going to be owned. You're going to either have capital
or you're going to become somebody else's capital. Economics is it, man. We black people,
we got to understand how this game is played. It's played with money and resources and ownership,
whether it's good, whether it's bad, whether you like it, whether you don't like it,
whether it's immoral to you or it doesn't make sense to you or you think it's bad,
how you feel about it, your emotions about it really don't matter. What matters is the fact
that it is what it is. What should we be doing? What should we be doing as black people?
The message that you should be doing or what you should, about what you should be doing
is investing into appreciating assets. Stop spending, spending, spending on frivolous things,
making other people wealthy while we're at the bottom. Change the way we think about money.
Develop your philosophy about money. Read a book a month about money. How to keep money,
how to manage money, how to grow money, how to build. These are things we should be doing.
The one money category that we lead everybody in is spending. We got to change that. We don't have
to be the biggest consumers. We got to be better about that. When you're the biggest consumer,
and you're also the least productive, you're going to always be behind.
8% of all Americans that are millionaires are black. 70% of all Americans who are millionaires
are white. Don't let that deter you. Don't let that upset you or make you feel some kind of way.
Stop focusing on what we don't have in comparison to other people and start focusing on getting
what we need to advance, build, grow, pass on. We can do it. We have to produce. We have to
create. We have to build and build. Appreciating assets, what we own and what we control,
your resources and capital. It starts at home. Your first business is the four walls in your home.
What are you building? What kind of culture are you building around money and wealth?
What are you teaching your kids about money? What are you actually creating and producing?
Do you have an emergency fund for when things come up? Do you create a budget
on a monthly basis? Are you focused on your net worth, growing your net worth?
Listen, are you taking advantage of your jobs 401k match? Are you putting 5% of your money
towards investing? 10%, maybe 15% or 20% or 25% of your money in the stock market,
so you can grow some money? Are you investing in ETFs and index funds and mutual funds?
Are you buying stocks low? Are you buying single stocks? Do you have 50 single stocks,
so you're well diversified in case something goes wrong? Do you have 150 stocks? Do you buy
stocks low when they're on sale? Are you saving for real estate purchases to buy some land?
Are you building a business? Are you going to have some employees? Are you building some wealth and
increasing your net worth on the asset side of the equation and reducing your liabilities on the
liability side of the equation? Are you giving and helping other people with the information and
knowledge and skills that you have? It's not just enough to be a black person that's successful.
Because of the things I mentioned about the historical nature of how black people were
oppressed financially and otherwise for 400 years, slavery plus Jim Crow,
what are you giving back to help other African-American or black people
actually gain some knowledge and skills and know-how that you have? Are you giving that
information to people? Do you have a good solid life insurance plan? And I don't care if it's term,
variable, universal, whole life. Look, some insurance is better than no insurance.
So do you have some insurance in case something goes wrong? Do you have a written five-year,
10-year financial plan for your life, for your family's life? Do you have a 30,
50-year plan for your family, for your grandchildren, great-grandchildren?
Do you have an estate plan? These are the types of things that we need to be thinking about.
Again, 8% of millionaires in America are black. What are you doing to become one of those, right?
Hey, guys, I offer one-on-one financial mentoring and coaching, and I do strategy sessions
that last 90 minutes with people on a one-on-one basis, Zoom call, phone call, you name it,
right, to help people. That cost. It's a business of mine that I have, and it cost.
But listen, I also offer free 15-minute phone calls for anybody just to have a conversation
with you to help you with your money, free. And here's the kicker. If you, after 15 minutes,
you feel like I'm not a good fit for you, I'm not a good fit. That's cool. At least
you got 15 minutes of advice, right? I also offer all these free YouTube videos.
I have over 200 free YouTube videos you can check out and look at anytime.
My contact information is below. Let's not miss this opportunity, black people.
