My visit to Portland, Maine with my dog Obi

hello [Music] [Music] okay okay today a town called portland it's in it's in the great state of maine and this city is about 236 years old so it's a very very north end of new england and it's very very hipster town actually very expensive for new england and i thought i'd take you here just to show you the sights and sounds you might be able to hear the trumpet in the background uh today's about about 83 degrees with this light wind it is a little a little muggy so for for dogs and uh you know it's quite hot it's quite hot speaking of dogs i have a guest appearance today in my video it's my my boy obi my dog he's about four years old he's a boxer mix so uh he he wanted to come he hates the car by the way but he didn't want to be left today so i ended up taking them it's a little tough with with the camera in the right hand and the leash in the left hand but what we're managing uh doing the best we can do so uh i hope you enjoy uh the sights and sounds of apartment [Music] get enough water there buddy oh my goodness oh yeah look at him look in his chops there you go i really appreciate it no problem hey i'll go with the uh i'm quick here lobster roll just letting you know the market price is fifty dollars okay oh my god really yeah that's why i always let everyone know they have that reaction i thought maybe like 30. so what it now what it is is that we don't have our own fishermen here like a lot of these restaurants like have their own fishermen so we got to buy through a middleman that man yanks at that price all right tell you what i'll do the uh pub burger though with cheese burgers inside what's that fries on the side fries now it's my time to have a refreshing drink so did you guys hear that i ordered the lobster roll it was very nice and and warned me it's fifty dollars for them for that lobster roll typically they're maybe 28 or 29 i wanted to show you what a lobster roll is but not for fifty dollars maybe some other time so uh i ordered the pub burger as you know that's just 18 that's about average now for a burger at a pub there we go obi obi you want some want some moby i know you do all right boy let's go come on let's go come on [Music] over here come on sit said orbee play all right let's go come on come here come on okay so in 1961 uh in germany uh the russians start you know built a wall to separate west berlin and east berlin and that wall was 90 miles around west berlin and east berlin that wall stood for 28 years until 1989 when uh when the wall fell so why why am i looking at why are you looking at this because this is three pieces of the berlin wall that's right folks in the 1990s uh germany uh to thank america for helping uh dissolve uh the soviet union and the berlin wall they sent out uh pieces of the berlin wall uh to different american cities and portland maine was one of them so here you go so three pieces of the berlin wall and if we look closely you might be able to see it anyways the time i i think this was this graffiti was made in portland but if you look at the berlin wall august 13th 1961 to 1989. forget not the tyranny of this wall horrid place nor the love of freedom that made it fall laid waste there you go the hammer and the sickle so there you go folks a little little russian history in a town of portland maine okay buddy let's go oh okay all right all right be good obi squabble okay all right big boy all right you don't want any part of that movie come on let's go come on okay buddy [Music] so [Music] so [Music] come on all right how you doing good all right come on buddy come on all right come on let's go obvious go come on oh there we go water for the pooch crank it up okay i think it's time to end this in this video uh obi's not i mean he's being cooperative it's a little different a little difficult uh filming and and trying to speak at the same time while you know passing by dogs and he uh lunges towards the dog so it's a little difficult but obi and i want to thank you for joining you know watching this video um if you liked the video please like share and subscribe i would really appreciate it i think obi would too until next time ciao
