Are you ready? Are you ready? Are you ready? All right, let's do it. All right, here we go.
They get fed twice a day like I mentioned earlier. They can eat though you guys. I've
said it before. They will eat a lot. See the feathers on it? All of a sudden they're growing.
What is going on everybody? Welcome back to another video here at the ranch and we're inside
of our new aviary. It is getting absolutely super super super thick. We've been making this thing
just grow and it's doing its thing. So we are in August right now. We are a month away then we're
going to finally be able to start adding birds inside of here. We're waiting for our buddy to
bring in a cool amount of birds. Birds that are hatching in his facility. The whole nine yards.
They're almost ready. They're fledging as well and once they're ready and they leave their mothers
they're going to be coming and we're going to be adding them inside our massive brand new aviary
and it's great that we've waited to this point to make sure all the trees and the bushes have
really really grown. Everything's establishing. Look at the bushes inside of the islands. They're
starting to grow as well. The only island that looks the worst is the middle one because Nutella
was jumping in there a little bit but she kind of stopped that already. Check out Peanut. Peanut's
looking absolutely amazing. Peanut look at this. Did you get his his fangs? Look at those fangs he
has. They are pretty gnarly. He has some big old fangs. His antlers are starting to grow back.
All his velvet is showing right now. He's going to rub all that off real real soon and it's going
to be nice little spikes on him. You know the muntjac deer don't have really really big horns.
They only get about maybe six to eight inches but they are well he doesn't like you touching him
but he'll you know rub them all off up against the sides and get it all nasty and you'll see
when that happens. We'll keep you updated. It's gonna get all bloody and nasty but that's a part
of a deer's life. That's Nutella and Rita. Her daughter is over there in the back. Lexi has been
doing really well in this enclosure as well. She only leaves her enclosure once in a blue moon but
this enclosure is looking really really well. The only thing we're really missing is making the
water section over there for the birds and adding sprinklers but check this out real quick. As you
guys know we do have our day geckos in here and the day geckos are doing really really well. On
tiktok we showed you guys giving them live crickets and they went absolutely crazy for them.
They loved them a lot and they ate them all up. This tree we have been cutting back tremendously
because it's been growing like crazy but right now we're pretty much bonsaiing it. We keep on
cutting it cutting it cutting it and keeping it as short as we can because we can't let it grow
any higher. It's only 16 feet tall and it's about 12 feet tall so this is where it's gonna have to
be and if you guys look over here it is just looking real real thick. Everything is looking
beautiful. Guavas are growing. Everything is looking nice. The brush, the brows, everything
looks real real well. The plants that I put in these planters some of them have not done so well
because they've been just drying out without having any rain but now it's been raining but the
sprinklers we add in here is gonna help a lot. But enough talking here let's feed the deer real quick.
A little bit of corn and some apples. We feed them twice a day this and we have our other group of
deers but we're gonna go check out the other area because I have something that's pretty cool over
bottle raised deers. You can see how nice they really really are.
All right here we go. They get fed twice a day like I mentioned earlier.
Soon we will have that new aviary over here. I probably said that in the last video but again
we can't only do so many projects at a time. We don't get crazy donations like all these other
you know facilities and stuff. We work as hard as we can make our own money and make things happen
and obviously from you guys helping as well liking the videos subscribing doing all that cool stuff
helps with us a lot too. But our other two mudjack deer that we have over here their enclosures doing
really really well. I'm gonna put two native bushes inside of here. We're gonna put two
Simpson stoppers that are inside of here so that there's a little bit more brush a little more
shade inside of here and that is it. We're just gonna have to find a new buck for these guys. So
we'll have a 1.2 over there and a 1.2 over here of mudjack deer which would be really really neat.
All right you guys so the original the main new aviary is doing great. Everyone's doing amazing.
The Turacos are absolutely doing amazing. The Chakalakas the new birds inside the aviary
have really really established in here. They're pretty chill during the morning but in the
afternoon they're pretty crazy. The Ruru's have really bonded now and I said it before in another
video but unfortunately since Pancho and Pinky passed away the Ruru's now have been really happy
more established not getting chased around and I think this year or following year we'll actually
have some production from these guys because they're not stressed out from the trumpeters anymore.
Sometimes big large aviaries are great but sometimes having birds in smaller enclosures
are better because you can really divide things up and the birds can breed just with each other
and when you have these big aviaries they start establishing territory and then you can't have
that many mixed birds in there unless you have a really really really really big aviary and sometimes
even an enclosure like this with the trumpeters the trumpeters took the whole entire thing as
their territory and would destroy anybody that would come in here and you know that's not the
best look at them all just doing their thing. The Turacos are like can you just stop talking and
come let us eat. Look at them bouncing around here they come.
For some of the waterfowl and for the Ruru's little male little female
with the food inside of here one of the other Turacos are just bouncing around here.
She really hasn't started growing her feathers yet they're starting to come you can see them
right underneath the skin but the other one that's in here they're all about to burst right now and
you can see he's gonna feather. Oh that Turaco is just fighting with its Turaco. Oh yeah their boss
is in here they're you know they're gonna go through it a little bit the top one's gonna jump
see what goes on you can see that I was just mentioning you see his his feathers where do
you go look at his feathers on his neck they're all starting to come in they'll all be coming
in soon that one's completely feathered this one will be completely feathered very soon and
then the last one will be as well look at the Turaco going around look at those red wings.
Avery looks absolutely amazing very very very thick and you know just doing its thing
it looks beautiful look at them go maybe in this afternoon we'll get them on on call they start
vocalizing a lot and it's really really really neat here comes the other one
they can eat though you guys I've said it before they will eat a lot see the feathers on it all
real cool birds not really pretty you know just a brown colored bird but a very very social
bouncing around gives life in the aviary kind of bird it's something I was looking for we have
really bright birds as it is let me know your thoughts you guys in the comments you like the
Turacos better the white-crested Turacos or do you guys like these guys better? I've been posting
all over the place and been really really minusing on YouTube but we're getting back on as much as
we can and Cash already met us say hi Cash what's going on buddy? Cash is up there on the
cassowary stand it's about four foot off the ground these hog panels are six by eight so you know four
foot up not really be able to climb up it whatsoever we have ourselves some fruits and stuff
been real sick real sick Cash, Kenya, myself haven't been doing so well still have to feed
still have to get you guys videos you can hear us all coughing it is what it is all right here we
go are you ready are you ready all right let's do it let's do it all right here we go
look at her looking look at her look let's see if she jumps up for this one
nope it's not a quail it's not a mouse I ain't jumping she's looking absolutely beautiful though
you guys look at the colorations now now we can really see what she looks like from an above
type angle and it just looks really really neat and it's a safer spot for my friends and family
to look at her if they want to feed her they can we can turn around as well and we can look at the
other aviary it's freaking awesome I want to put uh the chairs that would go here that you
could connect into the ground to the use on boats so when you're fishing you could freaking sway
from one side to the other you could go this way look at the cassowary you could go this way that
is so unnecessary and it would be freaking cool what do you guys think I'm kidding I don't know
but this is something I was thinking about but it'll be really neat to look at the aviary on
both sides you have the most dangerous bird in the world that people say that these guys are
and um as long as we respect them nothing's gonna happen and then you're gonna probably
have some of the smallest rarest species of birds five feet away right at this enclosure
absolutely amazing let's go feed blue blue get it in there
there you go a little cold still blue yeah a little popsicle
so while you guys see him enjoying those fruits and knocking them down real quick
we keep our uh refrigerator not frozen but a little cooler so that the fruit will last
longer in the refrigerator um you know it doesn't it doesn't go a badass fast but you can
see them just going straight down no chewing involved they're one of the biggest seed dispersals
in the jungle without cassowaries there would be no jungle of where they come from because there
won't be any way for the trees to you know push around to different parts of the jungle because
they just will drop and grow in the same spot and they kill themselves these birds uh eat the seeds
and bring them to different parts of jungle and make the trees go everywhere which is really
really neat naturally all right you guys well i hope you guys enjoyed today's video here at the
ranch give you guys a little update on some of the animals here at the ranch let me know down
