My journey to Belarus #plane, #bus, #taxi, #airport, #minsk

hello everyone my next trip i will uh be going to minsk i'm leaving here in a few hours uh heading to logan airport gotta take my pcr test hopefully hopefully it comes back negative it should um and then i'll hop on the flight flight departs around 5 25 in the afternoon uh then i'm heading to frankfurt and then uh my then the next stop from there will be bill nice um and then eventually i'll be in minsk so i'll have to take a bus to get over the lithuanian and belarus border but it shouldn't be a problem i have all the necessary paperwork so there you go i will be documenting my trip all the way through europe so enjoy my dog obi he does since something's going on i'm not in my normal routine when i start packing for a trip he get he gets very very concerned and he looks very concerned he's usually up on that couch sleeping but he's not today he's since something's going on it's always a little bit more stressful when i go on one of these trips because i always have to get a dog sitter and so i usually don't have the same dog sitter it's usually a different one so he has to get used to the dog sitter which he has on this one he's been going on walks with him for about three weeks now so he knows he knows deffy the dog center but you know when i'm gone you know i always worry about them but usually it's all good it's all good so i'm i'm only bringing a small roller because it is warm i don't need large jackets i don't need a lot of pair of pants it's basically going to be in the 70s and 80s there so i'm just gonna bring one one pair of jeans about four or five pairs of shorts um i'm gonna bring some uh shirts uh and then i'll bring my my vitamins gotta have my vitamins and then i got my uh all my different pairs of shoes that i'm going to bring about three pairs plus the pair that i'm i'm wearing and then of course i'm going to bring a jacket just a light jacket it looks a little heavier but it's not that it's not that heavy i'm gonna bring my hygiene hygiene bag and then uh then my laptop laptop bag that's i'm gonna be carrying very little just a roller and a backpack so should be uh should be okay okay buddy we'll see you in 18 days see you later buddy bye obi okay so now i'm at i'm actually at my office i usually park here because it's only 10 miles away to logan airport and then i just take an uber and it's like 20 minutes i don't have to deal with parking i get there quick and yeah so i don't also have to take an uber from for my for my house which is about 45 miles away so i actually saved money and time oh thank you there you go i'll just i'll carry my bag with me all right how are you today okay okay international e correct a little warmer i thought it was going to be how long how long we got to get to the airport 20 22 minutes oh yeah we got plenty of time it's good we gonna do the pcr test at uh 210 so you make it the in the airport yeah i do it in the airport fast and they give you the result yeah and i can go through security relax at the gate well that's easy man yeah yeah but it is uh 250 dollars to take that test they really get you last time i traveled i did about three each day one place one cvs one world green because you don't know when they will give you a result to travel so i stuck a couple times i changed the date of the traveler oh yeah i've done this this is my third time uh going international having to take the pcr test inside the airport it's very reliable it's expensive it's not like going to walgreens yeah it was free cbs i paid maybe 100 bucks 100 something the problem is they have to uh it takes 48 hours for them to give you the test results yeah and you have to take them so then it expires actually uh by the time you get to europe right so it's not good you having a good day with uh rides yeah it's not bad i started late around 10 11. that's fine yeah it's the most you ever made one day with uber money-wise yeah money-wise if you work seven eight hours at least you make 200 something okay 200 is not bad you do that every day it's a good it's a good side gig right boston garden all right okay thank you thank you very much enjoy lebanon download live hello you uh did about actually five twirls on each nostril uh she didn't cut too deep first time i got it here uh they went way far into my into my nose and trolled it i mean i had to i had to like uh have it she gave me a towel to bite on so this was about about a year ago actually so so now i gotta wait uh 45 minutes okay it's official my test came out negative we are we are going through security now yahoo thank you okay i got through security um then i just had a meal i just had a meal illegal seafoods my first meal for the day so anyways i just noticed i spent 250 on a pcr chest and they didn't even ask me you know for the test test results going through security i don't know if it's electronically going to uh through the system i don't know but uh there wasn't a very big line there so it might not be necessary so i spent 250 for nothing but that's okay that's all right anyways i'm in the international terminal waiting for my flight 54-day [Music] i'm sorry [Music] now [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay i made it to frankfort it's about 7 10 in the morning i didn't sleep any i didn't sleep a wink that's all right there we go now i gotta get a gate eight which is probably about two miles from here but but i have about three hours for a layover so anyways so when i'm in europe i always want a cold brew but they don't they don't they don't make cold brews so i always go for espresso shots over ice i think i'm crazy but i get it done and this is this is the result it'll do the trick okay i'm in vilnius airport finally i already have my luggage all i got to do is get a taxi almost there [Music] [Music] let's find that all right do you exchange for uh belarusian rebels [Music] all right fellow russian rubles [Music] you do i have dollars what's the exchange rate what [Music] so we're about 10 minutes away yeah more or less okay so first national train bus station yeah i'm going to minsk i got a 3 o'clock bus very green springs here just for a couple of days it became green yeah it just takes a couple days of sunshine right sunshine and rain it can became worse than now yeah oh i know so that's maybe the reason why why america don't give the long distance with like missiles well if that happens then russia will will escalate and then and then there'll be a world war two or three we don't want that we don't want that we want peace in the world just they don't they don't want any horse no everyone everyone have their own lives and and everything where everything we're such normal [Music] not the people of course never the people your european people or russian belarusian just very very nice all nice people it's not their fault it's it's the government's geopolitical [Music] [Music] currently at the lithuanian border didn't take me that long i stamped it after one minute unbelievable next up belarusian border okay got through the belarusian border a little bit more difficult but not too bad took a couple minutes that's not too bad you know since i'm entering belarus i gotta really check me out but it wasn't that bad so i'm home free two two under two hours to minsk miles and miles of trucks just waiting in line [Music] wouldn't want to apartment so uh stay tuned okay so this is how you walk in here's the bathroom since we're looking at it right now as you can see i took a shower floor is all wet get the washer and dryer nice sink mirror nice toilet nice brick wall um oh and here's the uh here's the living room old work desk sofa got the tv uh the tv stand will be up here tomorrow um they got a nice nice little closet here i'm gonna put some clothes um and then then you have the kitchen in here it's a nice little cozy kitchen coffee maker sink it's got uh this thermomix never heard of it i don't think we have it in the u.s it's only i think it's german sink stove he brought me some peanut butter because he thought that's the prototypical american just eats peanut butter out of the jar which is kind of right that's what i do sorry i didn't i figured that out um here's here's the bedroom so anyways very nice it's kind of a loft you know tall ceilings brick walls and uh guess what it guess what it's going for per night i'm only paying 25 per night so there you go i got a nice view nice view i believe it's a museum so it's a good view so there you go if you're at the very end i want to thank you for uh going through
