Guys, there's only one week left till school and I haven't prepared anything yet.
What are you doing tonight?
Well, homework and then homework and if I get all that done in time, some homework.
I can't finish all this and sleep at the same time.
You have to sleep. It's what keeps you pretty.
Who cares if I'm pretty if I fail in class?
Hi pretties, my name is Georgina, your one and only
Yappasaurus bestie.
Welcome or welcome back to my Chanel. In this video, I'll be showing you
everything I did to prepare for back to school. Hope this helps.
My school gave us requirements list of what we need to bring for the new school year
and I'm gonna be in a completely new building. So the list is like really different.
We have to bring a yoga mat and a paintball racket.
So the bag I'll be using for this school year is this pink bag from Rosie Posie.
But for this school year, I decided to decorate it with some angel wings that I made myself.
Adorable Koril Akuma photo card holder that I got from Japan. This Rosie Posie mini bag and this alcohol spray bottle.
I'll be leaving the link of it in the description since there is finally an official website for it in case you're scared of dudes.
This is how the Rosie Posie bag looks like when it's worn. I love how it's giving shoujo girl vibes.
It actually fits quite a lot of things. I don't like admitting my vulnerabilities online,
but I've been really fearing this school year.
11th grade is apparently the hardest school year in the Philippine curriculum which is
kind of crazy like I don't know what's gonna happen to me on this channel.
I tend to be a really anxious person who fears the future a lot and I feel like a lot of people can relate to this.
But I always try to remind myself that no matter what happens, it'll all be fine in the end.
Even if we feel like everything is going wrong, I think we eventually look back and realize
those moments shaped us for the better. Like they had to happen.
This school year, I want to practice optimism. Instead of ranting or spiraling when something bad happens,
I have to immediately give my brain three reasons on why it's actually a positive situation.
And somehow, even if the reasons were ridiculous like
it'll be a funny story to tell one day, it instantly makes my brain feel better about the situation.
Things may not always go your way, but it's how you decide to react to it that matters.
I didn't go back to school shopping this school year, but I did get some pink and green stationery
from Chick Choi. And I'm really excited to show you everything I got.
The first thing I got is this Plan With triangle clip. I do have this in pink, but I found the
clover version of it which is so cute. I've been loving clover things lately and it's so perfect
that Plan With released a clover collection. I also decided to get these clover sticky notes
since I ran out of my previous pack of memo pads. I'm also gonna do a desk makeover soon
and I got these adorable pink and green rosy posy pens which I think match my new aesthetic so much
more. I also got the strawberry version of this m5 binder which is so cute. I love how it comes
with m5 paper, stickers, and outside decorations already. This is the tour of what's inside the
m5 binder. All the pages are so cute. I also got this clover mesh file bag which I'll be using
whenever I have to carry a lot of things during school projects. I also finally got my first
eda bag. This one is from rosy posy which is the same brand as my backpack. I've been wanting one
for a while and honestly this one is so cute. I love how there's so many storage compartments as
well as the strap on it. Can we just admire how many compartments are in this bag? I swear rosy
posy bags are always so spacious. If you would like anything I got from here, I'll be leaving
the links of it in the description and use code JIRGINA10 for 10% off. So I finished packing my
bag. It's looking very chunky now. I'm gonna be writing down pictures I should find for my vision
board. Last school year, I decided to make a vision board for the first time and I've never been the
type of person who really made vision boards every year but I thought, well, I have nothing to lose
so I might as well give it a try. Little did I know making a vision board would change my life
forever because the things I thought were impossible actually came true like getting a
hundred thousand subscribers in one school year when I only had less than a hundred subscribers
that time. Am I feeding you the vision board propaganda? Yes, go make one. It works, trust me.
We went to SM to go shopping for some new school shoes since my school now requires us to wear
at least one inch heels. I will honestly miss my detailed lolita heels so so much but then again,
not everything stays the same. Oh yeah, in this random story time, someone was calling the cashier
but she said, wait, I'm still talking to these pretty girls in front of me in Filipino. Oh my
gosh. Here's the outfit for today. I'm gonna be making my vision board and explaining my goals
for this year and also what happened to my old vision board. I decided to use Pinterest to find
the photos and compile the pictures on my vision board. Compared to my previous vision board, I
actually started using my own pictures which is kind of crazy. Like, I actually became a Pinterest
girl. By the way, the next portion of the video will be a seven minute yap with me so if you have
a low attention span, put the video on 2x or use the timestamp to skip it. I'm gonna be cutting them
with some scissors. Keep watching for helpful tips and things. I wish I knew when I was younger.
Coming from someone who graduated top 5 out of 160 students. Anyways, now that my vision board is
officially complete, I think it's time that we can talk about it. I hope you'll enjoy the subway
surfers in the background while you listen to me be a yapasaurus. So this was my vision board last
school year and a lot has changed since I made this vision board. First, this picture of Sawako
basically symbolized the fact that I wanted to have more friends. At the time, I didn't really
have anyone that I could really talk to. My only friend was Althea but we didn't really talk much.
I don't think I personally look like Sawako but I think I have a pretty similar backstory to her.
When I was younger, I found it really hard to make friends and interact with people.
I grew up pretty lonely with usually only one friend or none at all. By one friend, I meant like
they were kind of just friends with me because we were like seatmates but we weren't actually
friends. I never really understood why people didn't really want to be friends with me so I
Honestly, group projects were probably the worst because I never had anyone to pair with. I would
always be that one person who never had a group and then like I would have to join with the other
people who didn't have groups. So to basically cope with the fact that I didn't have a social life,
I made YouTube videos, I drew, I just had a lot of hobbies and I was already doing okay. I was so
used to having no one basically to the point that like it was normal to me. I just didn't talk to
anyone when I went to school but I knew like deep down that I still wanted to have friends. I low-key
thought that like I would have no friends forever and just like have my family in my funeral until
one day, I met this girl. She was a new student who was quite social because she had like a lot
of friends even if she was new and one day while we were in a group project, I decided to approach
her and talk to her and I ended up showing her my digital artworks I made on my iPad and for the
first time in my life, I felt like someone understood me and ever since then she gave me
the courage to talk to more people which is how I ended up having friends. That is my backstory
but if you were in my situation, the best thing to do is to just try to talk to people even if it
seems scary or even if you think they might not like you because you'll never know unless you try.
Anyways, the next picture is a drawing. Honestly, I feel like I drew less this school year but I
ended up adding so many new hobbies into my life and I replaced drawing with makeup because I
drew on my face instead of paper and I added this picture of an outfit because I wanted to dress
more aesthetically and now my closet is so aesthetic and this picture is about having a
good sleeping schedule but in my school, 10th grade was just so hard to manage. Sleeping schedule became
like 10 p.m 11 p.m to sometimes midnight and I also finally ended up learning how to use this
sewing machine. I only learned how to use it like a few days before summer ended so didn't get to
make anything yet but at least I know how it works now. Pictures of studying is basically where I want
to romanticize my studying and to study consistently and about this gratitude journal, I ditched it
but I ended up still practicing gratitude in other ways and I put this picture of the grades
because I wanted to continue getting good grades. My report card somewhat still looks like this
and on top of that, I was managing YouTube so I'd actually consider that a win. And the play button!
I can't believe that I actually got the YouTube play button because when I was making this video,
I actually had less than 100 subscribers so to even aim for 100,000 subscribers seemed insane
but then we ended up getting this gorgeous beautiful play button. So what I learned from
this is that vision boards do work. Even if you think all of the things are impossible,
things can happen. Now my new vision board is much more packed than my old one because I actually
know what I want now. These pictures are basically all of my current hobbies and I would really like
to make the focus of this school year revolving around my hobbies because according to all the
11th grade students I interviewed, all of them said 11th grade was the worst year of their
entire academic life. I already mentally prepared myself like this is going to be the worst school
year yet in terms of workload from grade 1 to 12. So I think at this stage, hobbies are literally
going to be the most important thing because I noticed whenever I let go of my hobbies because
school gets too busy, that's the time I start having mental issues. That's the time I start
getting super stressed and worrying about everything. My hobbies remind me that life is
more than just academics. It makes me feel like I am not an academic victim and I'm genuinely
doing things that I love apart from just studying, studying, studying. And if you're someone who
isn't at the years yet where your grades matter for college applications, here is my thoughts
as someone who did graduate as top 5 in my batch. If I could go back in time, I wish that school
didn't dominate my life. I basically neglected everything to get good grades. My hobbies,
my social life, my happiness, and all I got was a piece of paper and a medal and like a special
seat in graduation. All this neglect in every other aspect of my life just for that? It wasn't
worth it. I'm literally going to art school and apart from giving me credentials, that top 5 does
nothing to my future. If you are someone who is currently in the years where your academics don't
matter for your college applications, of course you can work hard, of course you can get good
grades, but please, please, please, and I'm telling you this as someone who has went through it,
don't pull a Rory Gilmore. Don't make being smart your whole personality and especially don't
neglect everything else in your life to get good grades because that is my biggest regret and it
might not be yours but it is mine. You also need to have intrinsic motivation. Like why do you want
to even get good grades in the first place? Is it because you want to get in your dream college
or university? Is it because you want to graduate as valedictorian? Or is it because you want to
feel proud of yourself and accomplished? Make sure that you have a reason within you and it's not
because like you want your teachers to be happy. It's not just because you want your parents to be
happy. You have to know inside you like why you want to do this. Why do you want to dedicate so
much of your life to studying? I want to have good study habits and continue to get decent grades. I
also want to get better at makeup, dress better, and take better pictures of myself. And I also
want to prioritize my health from now on. I want to eat healthier. I want to exercise even if it's
just a bit. I also want healthy and shiny hair and of course I want to have clear skin. I want
to continue growing on YouTube and my other social media platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, and
TikTok. The reason why I put a YouTube thumbnail is because I want to be more authentic on my YouTube
uploads. This is a start of a new Georgina K era. I'll share you my real thoughts, my real experiences
so that I can maybe help someone who's going through the same thing feel like they're not
alone in this battle. I also hope to get a hundred thousand followers on my TikTok account and these
pictures are connected so I want to continue to socialize and make friends who genuinely care
about me and appreciate me every day. I want to write letters to them and I also want to go to
more cafes. Education is a privilege and you have that privilege. If it weren't for school, I wouldn't
have known a lot of the things I know today like how to speak English, how to think critically,
how to write essays, and so much more. School isn't just teaching you these useless lessons
that you'll forget in a week. It's training you to be disciplined, to learn resilience, and to develop
your social skills, which are the three things that help the most successful people succeed. If
you actually try in those projects and tests, you will genuinely get to see how much your skills
compound over time and how much your character builds. I used to be someone who was super shy
and would never volunteer to speak in front of anyone, but because I kept trying and practicing
in speaking projects, I eventually got better at it. While I'm not perfect, I can definitely say
that I can speak in front of people now, which is something that I thought was impossible. But
remember, you won't know your potential until you try. And even if you think, but oh I'm not naturally
talented, please remember that hard work will always beat talent. And you need to start believing in
your abilities to succeed. And another thing, don't ever compare your day one to someone's day 1000.
You have no idea how much time, effort, and work someone put to get to the place they are now.
It took me eight years of making YouTube videos to get to this point. So no, I did not just get
100,000 subscribers as easy as others did. And if you think, oh but I'm scared people will judge me,
my whole existence was basically judged for my whole life until I received some success. Honestly,
if you allow judgment to stop you, if you allow other people's opinions, other people who you
don't even want to be like, stop you from becoming your best self, then you won't ever get to see who
you could have became if you hadn't stopped trying. Remember that people will always judge you no
matter what you do. But I like to embody the quote, to be cringe is to be free. So if no one believes
in you, you have to believe in yourself. If you would like even more motivation for school, you
can check out this how to romanticize school video right after this one. Welcome to my stinky
corporate core girl haul. I decided to buy these heels in the size 38.
So these are my corporate core heels. I'm gonna be a corporate lady and I can't wear frills and
laces anymore. Grow up with me diaries because I'm actually gonna be 18 next year. So this is gonna
be my school uniform. Shirt is now blue unlike last year's white and our skirt has less pleats.
Anyways, let's try it on. This is how I look like with the uniform and it also comes with
this necktie which I still have to learn how to use. Here's how the uniform looks like.
Fit check. So this is my outfit for today. I'm gonna be going to a cafe and reacting to the
class list which I'm really scared about. I hope today will go well. We decided to meet up with
Jack again at the Studio Ghibli cafe since last time it was their anniversary so their regular
sweets weren't available and I finally got to try the Totoro cream puffs. Okay guys, so we found out
there's one section that's released. We're not in that one section. He was the only one who did not
check but I had a gut feeling that I would be in that section. Guys, I am actually in that section.
Now, let's do a who's in the section review.
Why classroom is so... Why is it every like person I don't want to be classing?
So I just got the email that the classroom is out and I got into the class called Empathy.
All of them are used to that.
The plates and coasters are all so cute and the Totoro cream puff is so cute and so delicious.
It's kind of too sweet though. Oh my gosh, look at how I just murdered it. Oops, that was silly.
I did already make a What's in My Backpack 2025 edition which is posted on my channel but I thought
why not show you this recording where I am still showing like what's in my bag since some people
might want to see a more detailed tour of like what's actually in the bag rather than just me
yapping for like 13 minutes. I honestly have been really enjoying using this Rosie Posie bag because
of how many storage compartments there are. It honestly fits all my stuff really well. Recently,
I watched a video on YouTube that basically said that being surrounded by pretty things or things
that make your brain like go, oh my gosh, that is so cute. That is so pretty. I like that. I like
this and that actually has a positive effect on your life. The example this channel gave was,
in a study, hospital patients surrounded by pretty art were more comfortable and happier about their
stay. These patients also recovered two days quicker on average and needed less pain meds
and the ones who stayed in the old ward. That's kind of extreme but I honestly think that surrounding
myself with pretty and curated things has helped me a lot when it came to romanticizing school
and I truly hope to romanticize the school year no matter how stressful and traumatic it can get
and I want to encourage you to begin romanticizing your life. I have personally had a side character
syndrome for way too long and I think it's time that I tap into my not exactly main character
energy but more of tapping into my authenticity and just learning how to be myself. I think as an
introvert, a lot of my personality has gotten hidden over the years due to some childhood
experiences but I hope to find her again since I'll be knowing no one this school year. So that is
everything I did to prepare for back to school. Good luck to you this upcoming school year. You've
done it before and you can do it again. Just know that I believe in you. If you made it up to here,
comment down below the word school. And if this is your first time watching my channel,
hi! My name is Georgina once again. I post lifestyle vlogs, art videos, school videos,
and guide videos to help you become the best version of yourself and romanticize your life.
