Shohei Ohtani's 💯th career home run at Angel Stadium is also his 42 homer of 2025 _ 大谷翔平ハイライト

The Dodger bats have been stifled, been silent, and by and large, the team has been listless. 0-2 in a hurry on Otani. 0-2 with a walk in the game this evening. Alex called this his tenth two strikeout game this season, but two of those ten in his last two games. Ball two strikes on Otani, bases empty, one out. The Angels have picked up right where they left off leaving Dodger Stadium in May when they swept the Dodgers in three games at the Ravine, looking for a fifth straight win against the Dodgers, bending back to last year. 2-2. The difference in this game is compared to those other ones. Dodgers were never even in this thing. At least it didn't feel like it. No, it has not felt like that at all. Full count for Shohei. Deep to right field, back at the wall. Comparo watches it fly. Shohei Otani's 100th career home run in the Big A. His 42nd of the season, he has gone deep in three straight games, and that spoils the shutout bid for the Angels. The Dodgers now within six. It's called about thigh-high off-speed on the inner half of the plate. Shohei didn't really get it, but he gets enough of it. That's his 42nd of the year. Ball one to Mookie Betts. That's Shohei's 12th home run in his last 25 games. Math folks at home, that would be a 78 home run pace over 162. Just for fun, I mean that's where we're at in this 7-ball game. We're doing math.
