Hear that? That might be gibbons. It's really far away still, but it's a good sign that means there's primates up in this part.
It's breaking and shaking right over here.
What an absolutely incredible sight to see wild orangutans in Borneo.
They're a critically endangered species and their habitat is disappearing super rapidly.
But to be out here in this dense remote jungle and see this wild creature,
an animal I've wanted to see my entire life, it's so fascinating. I just want to shout with excitement, but I'm not going to be scared to see a mother and a baby like that.
This is an absolute dream come true. What a beautiful creature.
He's just getting old enough now that he's confident to kind of go off on his own,
do a little bit of foraging, eat a few, and as soon as mom gets too far away,
watch your back, mom, wait, I'll go catch him. See that?
Staring at us.
What is that? Oh, watch out.
He's peeing on us. Look at that, he's trying to pee on us.
So my entire life, I've seen these incredible great angles. See, these guys aren't skittish. In fact, they're territorial. They're standing on their ground.
We're not going to behave like that. They're going to be fleeting and running away and very scared, so
even though I could spend the rest of my time right here watching these fantastic primates,
we're going to have to move on. We're going to have to do it in stealth, try and get on top of our langers.
