The Cortado: One of Our Most Popular Tiny Home Builds ✨

Let's take a tour of this beautiful portata. So, this tiny house is 24 ft long, 10 ft wide. It is fully certified, so you can finance one of these. And this has really become popular for us lately, and we built quite a few of these. And I think the reason is because it has a really unique look. If you look at the roof line, when you go inside, you'll see the reason why it works out really well on the inside, but also the price point. This is our budget model, and it's really open. You'll see that when you get inside that when you walk in, it feels like one huge room, which most of our tiny houses are that way. And people tend to like that because you're in a small space, but it feels larger. This tiny house has LP siding, LP battens, batten and sheets. And it's called smart siding. We love this stuff. And also, you'll notice as we're building this tiny house, we're pretty much on the final stages. It's about to get shipped out for a customer. You can see in the back, this comes standard with double windows on the back. So, when you're inside, it feels like huge views, which is really nice. Sits on a dual axle trailer. The back side basically has one window, so not a whole lot to see. This is the business side where you hook up the water hose, the uh sewer/ septic, and also we hook up the power. If you want to come this way, uh again, we use mini splits on all of our tiny homes. Excellent because they're efficient and great for heating and cooling. This customer wanted a custom painted fiberglass door, so we did that for her. And it has the built-in screen, which is really nice. So, that kind of takes us to the next point. If you wanted one of these models, we're willing to work with you in terms of um making it look different or whatever. We call it semicustom. You come on the front here. Something that's worth mentioning. This customer wanted uh propane. So, it has on demand hot water. So, basically, as long as you have propane, you have hot water. Really, really nice. And normally, when you get the on demand hot water, you also get um propane cooktop, which you'll see when we go inside. So, that's it for the exterior. Now, we'll hop on inside. All right. So, welcome to the interior of this Cortado. Again, like we said in the u previous when we're doing the exterior tour, very big, very open space. As you can see, we're in the final stages. We're 98% there. installing uh the gas cooktop, which is really nice. Uh a lot of people love to cook with gas. Now, if you bought the on demand hot water heater and you want an electric cooktop, no problem. We can do that for you. But this is the living space. This is where your entertainment area would go. You can put your table here. You can hang a TV on the wall. Um but most people elect to put their couch there. You could put your couch here, a love seat. You could put seating. This whole area really makes it nice because you can do multiple seating arrangements. You can put a coffee table in the middle. Got your window to look out. Um, but the living space is very nice. Drywall we put in this. You can put other options as well. And then on the ceiling, we did that prefinished um, ceiling that we like and we love that because it's zero maintenance and it'll last a very long time. It'll last for the lifetime of the tiny house. All of the kitchen cabinets that we use for our builds are extremely high quality. You've got, again, pardon the mess because we're just doing the finish and touch-ups, but everything we do is soft closed, real wood. You'll notice a lot of tiny house builders um, are using particle board. They're using plywood. This is real birch uh, cabinet. So, we don't skimp on those. You can put a full size fridge here. We'd recommend a 10.1 cubic feet. Um, that's what you call an apartment size fridge. Very, very nice. And if you come around this way, you can see we do what we call a privacy wall. Um, it doesn't fully, you know, separate the bedroom area, but like I was telling you before, the double window here makes it feel huge. And you have a window here as well. And on this particular tiny house, we did pine tongue and groove on the back, which we really like. You could put a bed that faces this way, which I highly recommend. You could put your head down this way, or you could put your head this way, so that way when you wake up, you're looking out to whatever view you happen to have outside. Very, very nice. This bedroom is plenty big to have a bed, side table. You can put a desk in here if you want. Um, and again, this one's 10 ft wide, so it feels a lot bigger. Uh, if you guys want, we'll go over to the bathroom real quick. All right, so now we're in the bathroom. The bathroom has a pocket door for privacy, which is very nice. And we have a flush toilet. As always, you can put a compost toilet if you want here. Um, and then we do a vessel sink in here. You can change this if you want. We do a quartz countertop beneath it. Believe it or not, you can do it put a washer and dryer here, which needs to be all one unit. We put a humidistat in here, which we do for all of our tiny homes. We love that because it sucks all the humidity out of the bathroom. We did our PVC interlocking tiles. Now, if you get a tiny house from us, multiple colors, you can pick all that, but we highly recommend going with this versus the one pieces. We don't like it because they're bulky and they take away space. Um, so this is a very very nice feature. We do black hardware mostly unless if you want something different. Um, so that's the bathroom for a tiny house this size. It's very functional and very sizable. All right, so that is a tour of the 24x10 Cortado. This tiny house is fully certified.
