[Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] Welcome back to the second Hampton's vlog of the year. I usually do two big like movies, if you will. So, we're on week two. We have officially begun week two. Today is Tuesday. I took a day off of vlogging Monday. We just did like a full reset because our guests left and we're getting ready for more guests. If you're new here, hey, my name is Danielle and every summer I do two weeks in the Hamptons. This year we're in East Hampton and I absolutely love it. Went to Pilates this morning, got coffee before and after and then I came back and showered and now I'm sitting in my car because I have therapy. We don't miss on therapy. And uh I feel like the car is the safest place to take therapy when you're in a house full of people. Not that I'm like over here talking [ __ ] about the house, but like it's personal regardless. So I am taking therapy from my car this morning. I'm so grateful Volvo lent me an XC90 for 2 weeks, which is insane and so generous, especially because you guys know Volvo has a soft spot in my heart. So I'm having so much fun. Maybe I should do a little car tour after therapy. But exciting exciting day because Brooke and Clara are coming today and they're staying with us for a week. I've been waiting for them to come and I'm just so excited for all my friends to become friends. Like everyone knows each other, but like I feel like Katie's gotten to really know Kelly and Cass. So, I'm really excited for Brooke and Clara to come as well. Clara literally flew in from Charleston to come here for the week. So, very fun. Her and Brooke are sharing a room because there's a room with like two twin beds. And I'll show you guys, but I did like a little room drop for them. We got a ton of really fun gifting. Like Skiim sent us all matching outfits. Soul de Janeiro, the way. Um, and I feel like I'm forgetting something. Sun Bum, like we got so much gifting. So, I made like a little room drop in their room for them when they walk in. Clean their sheets, made their beds, all of that. So, yeah. I'm excited for them to get here, but I'm going to do therapy and then kind of just tidy up and prepare for them to come. We're probably going to go to dinner tonight. It's Tuesday and uh this weekend I have a couple friends coming to stay with us this weekend. Delaney, Caitlyn, and Morgan. And then Colby and Adam are coming, you know, on behalf of Katie. All of us basically. It's Kobe's birthday this weekend. And uh Jack's obviously coming back. Ryan can't come. He's on a bachelor trip in Tampa, you guys. I'm so jealous. I mean, I'm not cuz I'm in the Hamptons, but you know what I mean. Like, how funny that Ryan will be in Tampa where I'm from. And it's just going to be a grand old time. We have amazing plans this weekend that I can't wait to take you guys along on. But it's just going to be another amazing week in the Hamptons and I just wanted to do like a solid intro. I'm just in my comfy clothes and we're going to do therapy and I'm going to come back feeling like a new woman. Here's Brooke and Clara's room. And here is said room drop. They each got a Skiims bikini, a Skims claw clip, and like a cover up situation. And then we bought some fun things from the way. Sold de Janeiro. And I just thought it would be cute. Oh, FedEx is here. Classic. Cherry, are you excited for our guests? Katie just got some cold cuts from Cinderella, so I'm snacking on those. And then as soon as Brooke and Sarah get here, we're going to let them kind of get settled in, if you will. And then I think we're going to go to round swamp. Wait, come show your dress. This is way more spacious than I thought from the pictures. Yeah, right. It's nice. Great size. And you each get your own closet. We found even more hangers. Oh, good. You have a balcony, Skiims. Okay, the girls are unpacking and one of my dresses for this weekend came in and I'm obsessed with it except there's things that need to be altered and it's like, can I have a tailor do this quickly or do I just return it or Clara offered to help with a brooch? Basically, this dress is sick. Like, I love it so much. It's Christopher Esper. However, it's so low. Like, the straps are too long. So, I would need to get the straps like shortened and it's supposed to be like exposed like that on the side. like this at Surf Lodge obsess. And I feel like this is just such a fun summer/vation. So, I need to like decide my fate here. Or I could like, you know, there's things I can do. There's things we can do. Clara is the best and helpful. I'm going to keep it on and see what Cass thinks, too. But I just want to show you guys. Let's check in on the girls and how the unpacking process is going. Oh, good. Let me turn the light on for you. Okay. I don't No, just throw it behind the door. Testament to how quiet the I know. I didn't even know you were in here. I was like wheeling it and it's like literally silent. No, literally just like I don't go over here. So, it's the base graveyard where my passport is. It's in the carryon. Passport is in the carryon. Everyone, that's where Claire's pass. This is a really creepy situation. Like, I don't Yeah, I wasn't going to open it. I don't know what's there. I have a couple of croies. I guess I took I had him We brought him to the beach and I just like I know. Oh, mattress. They did say something in Airbnb like someone could sleep. Oh my god. I mean I mean that's scary. We could put the luggage in here, honestly, if it does get in your way. We could totally put the luggage in here if it that one that one's not a problem. But can can the door be shut? How's it going in here? Where? Um, got Brook's closet. Oh, I see lots of fun things. Oh, this whatever this is. I love it. The pink. Oh, yes. Yes. I It was a chaotic packing at the end here, but I feel I'm excited for all the fits. Clara, I love the way you merched everything in here. Very pretty. Very pretty. We are headed to Round Stomp. I'm so excited and I'm so hungry the week. Like little dips and stuff. Clara is already ready to attack. I know. They're very organic looking. Very real. No dyes. Got a good haul here. Very exciting. High protein skinny chicken parmesan cantaloupe. Some flap or sourdough peaches. Yum. Hello, New York. We are about to head out to Navy Beach. It's this amazing restaurant out in Montalk on the beach. It's the best vibe. Katie and I have been before, but no one else has been. So, we're really excited. We're all literally in red, white, and blue, which is so funny. So, I think when you think navy beach, I don't know. You just think you want to wear red, white, and blue for some reason. I mean, not on purpose. We just all happen to be wearing different colors. So, I'm wearing this dress. My sunglasses. I can't see the screen. Does that ever happen to you, Katie? Yeah. I just kind of hope for the best. Yeah. This dress is from Abberrombie. I love it. It's this blue color. It's a little washed out in the camera, but I love that it's asymmetrical. Just like a fun little easy vibe. Actually, my bag and shoes are also Abberrombie randomly. I'm just now realizing this. This bag is Abberrombie. And then I'm just wearing little white flip-flops since we might be walking on the beach or something. And I like that they're a square toe and they're also Abberrombi. Earrings are from my collection with electric pics. Amazon earrings cuz I lost my BGA sunglasses that look like this. And I just can't I like don't lose things. I know I they're somewhere. But anyways, this is the K. You want to come show yours? Gorgeous. I'm not fully accessorized, but I have on this solid and striped what I like to call it an eating dress because despite the fact that it's white, it is the perfect tent. It's a good napkin. I can sure I can eat as much as I want and not feel like I need to unbutton anything. Oh, that's for sure. Like it's just it's just it's out in the open and it's got like a cute statement on the top. Yeah, I love it. So cute. I love that because that purse was avocado in it. I forget sometimes. So, yay. Everyone looks adorable. We filmed a video that involved hot dogs and now it's juicy. Not that I'm trying to play it right now, but like I'll play Kick the Can. No, but Katie, but I've never played Kick the Can. I don't think I've played that. Me either. Morning everybody. It's Wednesday morning. I've got this little Monday workout set on and we're gonna go for a walk. We're going to see where the walk takes us. Brooke just went to Soul Cycle and then me, Katie, and Clara are going to go I'm trying to find the right socks. Me, Katie, and Clara, and Cass are going to go get coffee and then go for a walk, which I think sounds lovely. So, yeah, cuz we've been doing Pilates literally every day. Literally all the time. and we just wanted to switch it up and thought a walk would be nice. Maybe walk around her in the town. And then Cass thinks we could walk to the beach that we went to the other night for pizza that I didn't vlog actually, but we took pizza to the beach and it was such a lovely vibe. Um, and she thinks we could walk to that same beach. It's called Egypt Beach. And I was like, say less. Putting in my everyday hoops. People always ask where these are from. I think they're Love AJ or Arento Vivo. I say that because I know they both carry them and I've had them from both brands. I think these are Love AJ. I've literally had them for years. Like I literally just put on these earrings every single day unless it's like I'm putting on a fit then I choose my earrings. But these are like I wake up, these earrings are in cuz I feel cute. I love the green. Oh my god. Honestly, I like It's a good boxy. It's a good boxy. I don't need any more sunglasses, but I love the shade. Also, these Hey everyone, here I literally look like one of those people who's allergic to the sun. No, you don't. You've got shorts on. My legs are out. I I like got ready after the show. Or not ready. I literally showered and came out here and I was like, "Oh, I'll just temporarily sit outside and I just am locked on. I won't let Brooke leave. There's lots of bugs to be fair." So, I was like, "What if I light a citroronella candle?" and she said, "Okay." So, we're going to see if it works. I can start to smell it. I have my bathing suit on. It's a cloudy day, but it's nice because I do have computer work, but I didn't want FOMO up the sun. So, we're doing it all because I can see my computer screen. We're just out here. This bathing suit's old from J Crew, but I do love it. And I hope it's still available for you guys. But, we're out here chilling. Had a nice morning. The walk was lovely. Brooke went to Soul Cycle like the queen she is. She's good to get a good I haven't had a Oh, she just sent off an email. She's working. She's working. Hello. So, yeah, we're recording Gals on the Go from the pool tomorrow. It's going to be really It's going to be hilarious. Like, have to wear a one piece. I think I have a tankini situation. Oh, I like that. Like, it'd be fun. Yeah. Just cuz it's, you know, we've never podcasted in bathing suits and it's going to be silly. We can involve floats or not. We can involve the crowd. I mean, we can't like be in the floats. We'll float away. The microphones are not portable like that, but it's going to be really, really fun. Um, and I'm excited about that. But what Oh, we're about to hop on a call. So, Brooke came in my room and we're going to take the call together. Normally, it's like she's at her apartment, I'm at mine. So, this is fun that we can every now and then we get to take a call together, which is just fun and different. And then from there, we're all going to dinner at Moby's, which reminds me of like the first year we came here because we uh we went our first year when me and Katie and Brooke did a house and it's just I mean I've been since then, but it's just like a good like pizza pasta Italian spot and we're all we've all agreed like we're wearing like flowy comfy dresses. So, Brooke and I were just talking about how Doan is definitely having a moment. And I bought this dress a couple months ago and then I honestly was a bit unhappy with how it was like sheer on the bottom, but I loved how it fit on the top. It kind of reminds me of like Hill House. Like, can you see my underwear? Not at all. But if you if you looked really hard, literally none of But I'm wearing none of the none of the You can't see it. I swear. Yay. And I have these little these are either Orium or Electric Pics shell earrings. And then I'm gonna bring this bag because I can't wear this bag in the fall. So, this is this is my bag and I love it and I do not regret buying it. I'm so obsessed with it. It makes me so happy. So, anyways, that's the update. We really just like hung out by the pool with our computers as I vlogged earlier because it's a little cloudy today, but tomorrow's like the beginning of it all. I feel like Thursday, today's my favorite day of the week and it's the start of the weekend. We have such a fun weekend ahead. So, just wanted to kind of do a little check-in with you guys. It's so crazy because when I leave the Hamptons, I literally move into an apartment with my boyfriend, which is so exciting, which means moving content coming very, very soon. But it is so crazy like I have a big life change happening and I'm so excited. But one of the things I love is that I'm in therapy so that like if any like road bumps come or you guys know I'm just like a big planner, so I'm like I want to make sure I get ahead of things. I want to communicate things properly and I'm just I'm really so excited and I feel like I've just had all kinds of changes in the last couple years and that's why I'm so grateful to be going to therapy during these times. This outfit's so like girly, which these are girly, but I feel like more of a rounded vibe would go with these. I don't know. I don't know what sunglasses to wear today, but Brooke and I are going to record from the pool. It does feel nice to be up before the world. And the sun is shining on the pool. It looks stunning. The UV is already at 5. Caitlyn, Morgan, and Delaneie are in route to the Hampton. Some of my best friends in the world. I'm so excited for them to be here. We're going to Surf Lodge later today. Like, it's just going to be such a special day. And uh yeah, so supposedly, which I wish I checked earlier. I was air drying clothes. Don't mind me. These two chairs pull out into twin beds. So, I do need to confirm that they do that. Otherwise, we're all shacking up in my bed. No, I'm kidding. But I was told that that's what these do by the owner. So, hopefully that's real. I also need to go downstairs and see if Clara really meant what she said about her offer to put like little stitches in the back of these to make the straps shorter. So, let's do that. Just tidied up, I think, pretty well. Swimy is Leaport swim x Camilic. It's so cute and very Hampton's. I feel like I'm going to go out to the pool because the UV is already really high. Let's see if we really make it there. Um, we're literally all going. There's a Touchland event tonight and they so graciously got us all wristbands to go on the deck after, which is so exciting. Um, and I'm just waiting because Clara said she can sew this in the back and she was I was like, "Do you want to sew it like earlier?" And she was like, "No, I want to sew it when it's like on you because then like you don't have to worry about putting it on and being careful cuz she's just going to do a little simple stitch." Del, the bag's ready for you. Hi, Delanie's going to use this bag. How cute was her little outfit over there? Very cute outfit. So, I'm accessorizing. Let's just pretend that would be like that. But like I kind of think I want to go silver. I think it makes more sense. So, we're going to do it. And I also want to be able to take a shot and have a little snack and do a couple other things. Get you a girl who will sew your dress for you. She's basically shortening the straps by like pushing them in, I think. And then I don't know what she's doing, honestly, you guys. But it's working. I'm so lucky. I wouldn't have an option. I need to learn how to f I have to hem every article of clothing. Like the fact that I sew is so dumb. So, we've literally, you guys, just been by the pool all day. Seriously, like I love when my bathroom looks like this. Like, just tons of bathing suits. It puts me in a really good mood. And it's just great for a bigger group because then you're not stressed about going to a big dinner. And it's honestly only $60 per person with tip. Like, it's steal. That's a good deal. We just finished cleaning and a few of us are out here already. Katie's already in her swimsuit. She's got her Kindle ready to read. It's very impressive the dedication. broke out the Kindle and I'm gonna start this book, Summer in the City by Alex Aster. I'm hearing great things, so I'm excited. I mean, Summer in the City, this is so me. I put on my little stood swimming again. I really like the colors of it. It's Sunday, so we're all just kind of chilling by the pool once again. And then we check out of here on Tuesday. So, I'm Me and Katie are like, we are getting our money's worth. And we Hey girls. And we Hey girls, like my dad. And we will be out back here. You're going to have to drag me out of here. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Guys, Morgan is currently needle pointing in the pool and this is single-handedly making me want to learn. People can teach you better than I can. Um it's a marlin. I'm making it for my dad. So I'm going to make it into Well, I'm going to send it in and it's going to be on a flask. So, you send it to a company and then they and then cuz they kind of like set you up with all the yarn. It's so pretty. It's fun. It was going to be a wallet, but it's a little big. So, you basically just like literally weave it in and out. Yeah. And then when you have to switch colors, then that's a whole thing. But but like the yellow's done. And when you buy a kit, does it come with all the colors for that specific template? Yeah. And it comes with This is funny. Like it's like Oh, what it needs to look like? Yeah. And like grids. They are driving back to the city now. We were literally by the pool all day today, all day yesterday. I feel like this vlog compared to last week's vlog is not as good and I am sorry for that, but that kind of happens when you're just like by the pool all day. It's like update putting on more sunscreen, you know? And I'm really grateful. That's that has been my last week, two weeks. And I'm so excited because today is Sunday. And then this Wednesday, this Wednesday, Ryan and I move into our new apartment. And I am beyond the moon. So excited. I've been like just living in all different places for the last month or so, which has all been so fun. Like, I'm not complaining. But I am really excited to nest and just to make that place our own.
