This is very easy stir fry recipe with ground beef and Chinese celery, reminding me of my childhood. Chinese celery is very aromatic and crispy. However, if you can't find it, you may substitute with regular celery. Enjoy!

Hi everyone, welcome to Cooking with Lin.
Today I'm going to share with you a recipe which reminds me of my childhood.
Stir-fry ground beef with Chinese celery. Beef in Chinese is?
Niu Rou.
Niu Rou. And we're going to serve in two ways. Let me show you the ingredients.
Half pack of ground beef. It's about 20 ounces. I'm going to use half of them.
And this is 80% lean ground beef. And we have minced ginger, garlic. This is citron pepper
powder. Or if you don't have it, you can use black pepper powder, ground black pepper.
And I have a few chili peppers. And let me show you the Chinese celery or Asian celery.
You can see it's much longer, right? But thinner compared to western
celery. And they are like hollow inside, kind of like this. Much crispier and very aromatic.
So if you don't have Asian celery, you can substitute it with regular celery.
And I just need to cut my peppers in half.
So if you don't have fresh chili peppers, you can use dried chili peppers. Actually,
my family uses pickled chili peppers, which I don't have. That's okay. And the celery,
I'm just using two of them. Put this aside. Just need to remove the leaves. They're very leafy.
And as I said, very aromatic. Now we are ready to cook. I'm heating up the wok to high heat.
Add oil. I'm using avocado oil. First, we're going to brown the meat.
It will take two to three minutes. After a few minutes, you can see our beef is getting brown.
Beautiful. Now we add garlic, ginger, and our chili pepper. A little bit of soy sauce.
Mix. Now add our celery. Wow, smells so good. Right? Cook about a minute. Let me just taste it.
Wow, delicious. Just a little bit of salt and Sichuan pepper powder. So our beef is ready.
I'm going to show you how we're going to serve it. Now we're going to serve the beef in two ways.
You serve over rice. Put over your rice. Of course, you can also put over noodles.
Wow. Yep. That's one way to do it. Yum. And the other way, if you don't want any starch,
this is keto-friendly, right? Just use lettuce. It's iceberg lettuce.
It's a piece. If you want to avoid the chili pepper.
Wow, that looks great. It's good, right? Yeah. You ready to try? I'm ready. Me too.
Enjoy. We start with rice. Yeah, rice. Let's try. Oh my god. It's so good.
Aromatic, right? Very aromatic. The celery itself is aromatic. Then we have ginger, garlic,
Sichuan pepper powder. Wow. That's so good. A little bit of heat, right?
You can add more chili peppers if you like. More spicy. I'm moving on to the wrap. Wrap.
That's gone already. There's the wrap. There it goes. Oh, that's full flavor.
That's delicious. Wow. Awesome, right? Excuse me, I'm eating.
