Puerto Rico’s Hidden Island Paradise 🌴 Isla Cardona: Beaches & Hidden Paradise

What if I told you there's a tiny island off the coast of Puerto Rico with no roads, no hotels, just a lighthouse, crystal clear water, and a whole lot of magic. This is Isla Cardona, and today you'll experience it with us. Today, we're going to go explore Isla Cardona, a 6 acre island a mile south of Pon, Puerto Rico. We've never been here before, and we're super excited to go see it. We've read that it has some hiking, snorkeling off the shore, and there's a historical lighthouse. So excited to check it out. Let's go see it. Just 10 minutes from the city of Pon, Isla Cardona is a hidden gym only accessible by boat. No cars, no crowds, just nature. Today, we're going on a tour with Waterland Adventures. We went with them before to Isa Kahad Muertos, and the tour was super amazing to that island. So, we're really excited to check out this tour. It's pretty affordable and they also have included lunch options with Puerto Rican food so that you can have a great morning and a beautiful lunch on the island. [Music] This is the most adorable little island. It's so beautiful. And they have picnic tables here. It's actually really comfortable. What an amazing place to have a romantic picnic. Looks like there's a reef out there. So, I'm going to go snorkel it. Let's see. Excited to see what I can find in there. The bright turquoise waters of Isla Cardona are home to a rainbow of beautiful tropical fish. You can spend hours snorkeling in the shallow waters, exploring the shapes and colors of the reef and its inhabitants. Now, let's hike up to the lighthouse for an incredible view of the southern coast. Even on a hot day, the breeze up here is worth it. [Music] Oh, so scary. Holy. So, we decided to walk up to the lighthouse and check it out. And it's so cool. Well, we climbed up to the middle part and Gabby climbed up all the way to the top because it's way braver than me. But it's so beautiful here. And what an interesting old building. It's from 1889, I think. It's really cool. Great place to take photos and it's really romantic way to spend the morning. This island is so beautiful and it's a super fun and relaxing way to spend the morning. Um, where you dock, you can actually snorkel and swim there on that side of the island. It's a little rocky getting in, so be careful. Um, but the other side is actually really good for snorkeling cuz there's some coral, there's lots of fish, there are a little bit of currents, so maybe not for beginner snorkelers, but either way, it's such a beautiful place to just to take photos and it's really romantic way to spend the morning. We forgot to say goodbye. There's a notion deep and wide between you and me, but still I'll be there if you say you will. This tour is so amazing. Everything about it is so fun and relaxing. The island is gorgeous. It's small enough that you can walk around the whole thing, which is really a romantic activity to do. The food is delicious. You can add on a food option and they deliver you your lunch at like 12:00. And look at this. Wa! This is delicious. The best way to celebrate after snorkeling for a couple hours and walking around. M. The chicken looks so good. I want to eat some chicken. And you get a ton of time on the island just to relax and explore. We highly recommend this tour. It's wonderful. And the company is really eco-friendly and really conscious of their impact on the environment.
