And they're off racing for this British Stallion Studs EBF maiden stakes.
Evanesco got a fairly quick break on the outside ghost mode in the red jacket.
Going forward also Phantom Watch with exclusive code in the red cap.
And up the inside Ireland Bear just tracking those towards the inside
is the favourite Isaac Newton in the purple and white jacket.
Followed by Atlas Mountain Mile mate round the inside.
Wired out is Aspect Ireland yellow with the black striped sleeves.
And then behind those is Isle of Alba.
Lion of Alba I should say.
And then towards the very receding and just ahead of receding is Arbawi.
Running towards the turn into the home straight.
Ghost mode just out in front from exclusive code.
Then in third is Evanesco.
Ireland Bear towards the inside from Isaac Newton.
And these are chased then by Phantom Watch.
And then towards the outside Aspect Ireland.
And then wide is Arbawi as they run down the home straight.
And still on the rail it's exclusive code that just leads from ghost mode.
Isaac Newton has now been pulled out by Ryan Moore.
Begins to stay on.
Evanesco's in there with a chance.
Ireland Bear and very wide on the course is Aspect Ireland.
It's still exclusive code that leads to ghost mode.
Evanesco might try and come between them.
And now Isaac Newton begins to hit top gear down the near side.
And it looks like a winning run though.
Evanesco is running on well as well.
Racing up towards the line.
Isaac Newton from Evanesco.
Isaac Newton.
Isaac Newton from Evanesco.
Ghost mode back in third.
And in fourth exclusive code.
So he got there at the end.
Isaac Newton just shuttled back in the early stages.
Loose showing some inexperience.
Perhaps not finding the track absolutely ideal.
But he has outstayed them in the end over seven furlongs.
And won this from Ryan Moore and Aiden O'Brien.
Evanesco has run as well as the betting suggested he might.
On second side were David Egan and Charlie Johnson.
Third was ghost mode for William Buick and Andrew Balding.
And fourth was exclusive code for James Doyle and Archie Watson.
The eight to 13 favourites.
The winner is returned.
And the third and fourth had it between them for quite an early stage.
Watch Isaac Newton from stall four, James.
He's just a little bit slow to find his rhythm.
Ryan's quite happy to get him relaxed.
And then you start to worry that he's not going to get a slot that Ryan wants.
And that's why he's ended up heading more centre track in the closing stages.
He's a middle distance horse for next season.
His class has come to the fore.
But I thought a little bit for the Johnsons.
Because this was going to be their winner.
They've backed off the boards from the run up to the off.
But just look at the position that the runner up's in now compared to Ryan Moore.
Yeah, Ryan's the one that's come out on top and picked up well.
And then David Egan's actually got a second wind out of his mount.
Yeah, I think both these horses are going to definitely be staying quite well at three.
Isaac Newton ultimately looked as if he was possibly, as you say Lydia,
not loving the track.
A little bit unbalanced and took a little bit of time to find his feet.
But he's a big horse.
And he is going to obviously continue getting stronger into that frame of his.
And at this point, Evanesco looked the one to beat.
Because he was travelling better than the eventual winner.
But I think it's fair to say Isaac Newton has possibly outstayed Evanesco late on.
And once Ryan Moore's managed to get Isaac Newton out into the clear,
switches his lead and opens him up,
he really starts to roll.
And I think he has outstayed his rivals late.
He's just got there on the line.
Another winner of the Cat-Arp Goodwood Festival for Ryan Moore.
Ryan, what were your impressions of Isaac Newton today?
Yeah, he ran a lovely race.
He had a very good run the first day at the Colour.
The third horse just won at Galway just now.
So the form looked fairly good.
I suppose seven finals in this track, probably not ideal for him.
They went a good gallop.
He'd done everything right.
Got into a nice rhythm and he stayed going well.
Showed a very good attitude.
And he'd be very happy with what he'd done today.
How much would a race like this help him physically as well as mentally?
It won't do him any harm.
But he's a straightforward horse.
And he will continue to improve from race to race.
I'll let you go.
You get a ride.
Well done, Ryan.
Thank you.
