BURLINGTON & WALMART HAUL & VLOG | BOJANGLES | KHIA’S NEW BED | NEW APARTMENT

So I am in Burlington looking for things for the house. Perfect. I was looking for a gray bowl for Bella. Perfect. Literally perfect. $6.99. That's why I love Burlington. Look down here. This little half-moon laundry basket. They have the light gray and the dark gray. These match the nickel in my bathroom. Actually might be perfect. Yes. It's on clearance. This one. I'm not sure yet. Maybe this one. And a shower caddy. This looks perfect. And a bath mat. They have so many different shades of gray. Y'all, I found this rug. I found this, which I'm gonna get for either my room or the living room. I got this rug and these two candles. And I'm trying to make up my mind on which bath, I meant which shower curtain. I just left from Burlington and then I went to Bojangles and y'all their sweet tea is so good. Good old southern sweet tea. I have not ate at Bojangles in so long. And it's, there's one right beside the Burlington that I went to. And I just thought, you know what, Kyle wanted something to eat. So I picked her up a little, we just got a little three-piece chicken supreme dinner, like the tenders. I haven't had it in so long. So I did end up finding a rug at Burlington and I was so excited because it's huge. It's huge. And I only paid a hundred dollars. Y'all it's a huge rug and it's white and gray and I absolutely love it. I hope it works like it works in my head. I did find this big white canvas, but then the more I thought about it, my walls are white. So I can't do white on the white. Yeah. So I didn't get the canvas, but I did get the rug and some other things, which I'll show you, but that was a good little run. They didn't have as many canvas prints as they usually do. They usually have so many to pick from, not this time. So I'll just check back with them later on and see what they have. Cause that's, I know that's where I'll probably get the canvas for above the sofa and above my bed. I haven't got my bed yet. Mine and Kyle's bed is supposed to come next week. I was snacking on some Bojangles fries. They're so hot. They're so good. The little Cajun spice they put on it. Yum. Great use of your blinker there, ma'am. Thank you, sweetheart. I'm still slowly unpacking at the house of course, but I needed to get a shower curtain. So that's why I left to go and I was looking for a rug, but I need to start unpacking my bathroom. Cause I can't really unpack my clothes yet as far as for drawers, cause I haven't bought a dresser yet. Um, so I'll slowly get to that. I do need to take all the bags off of the hanging clothes and then, um, that will be done. I unpacked the entire kitchen yesterday, the entire kitchen. Also y'all check out my target haul of some new items. Bit by a little bit, we are completely moved out of the old apartment and yeah, we did that pretty fast. We basically moved in one day. We basically moved on Thursday, had just the storage room to do Friday. And then I had a couple little things left and then I went and made sure it was all done today and we were done. We were completely moved and I'm still going through the stuff that I did bring because I still want to keep decluttering y'all. I just moving will make you want less. I know I'm shopping, but I mean, this is for, you know, the new stuff that I sold of our old stuff, but um, it will make you just want less and just keep decluttering. And this was the perfect time to move because it's the spring, spring cleaning. So it worked out good. This is my Bojangles and then I got a ranch and a honey mustard and my sweet tea. Y'all see how good this looks. Their honey mustard is amazing. As you can see, I got this beautiful rug from Burlington. Also these candles I showed on the video, these candles, they smell so good. I got two of these, two of those. These were $11.99. They're huge. Then I got these for my shower and these were only $4.99. This is the shower curtain I chose for now. I'm going to see how it looks. It might just be too white in there, but this does have like a silver lining in it, which I love. I love that. So I'm going to try this one again. It was on sale. $7.79. It's a good deal. And then these were the rugs that I got. Two of the same for the bathroom. These are like the ones I had at my old house, but they were tan. But I wanted two of these, one in front of the bath and one in front of the sink. Those are fairly large too. These are Nautica and they were $10.99. I found two LED lights. I thought these were so cool. They're called Halo and it has like all those colors. It was $12.99. I got two of them. Just thought these were really cool. So I got two of those. It's a hit or miss at Burlington if those LED stuff work or not. And then I got me a shower caddy. Kaya and Cash already have one in theirs. And then I got the bowl that I showed you guys in the video for Fella. Look how beautiful and big this rug is y'all. The couch is starting to fluff out. I got this couch from Target. I put the link on my Instagram. It's on sale like half off right now. And you have to give it 72 hours for the cushion part to puff up. Easy assembly. Kaya and I put it together and I love it. There's the floor and this brings the white from the walls. I love it. The rug turned out perfect. I was saying to myself, if I didn't like it in the living room, I would put it in my bedroom. I don't even know if this rug would fit in my bedroom. It's a huge rug y'all. This is a huge rug. I cannot believe I got it from Burlington for $100. Like that's a steal. This would at least be like $300, $400 rug. But it was $100 even. It's huge and beautiful. And this is just a start. Now we just need to get a canvas for right there. I gotta find a long one. When I got back from Burlington, I was talking to you guys in the car about our beds coming in. Guess what? Next week, but Kaya's came in. This is her. She got a black velvet bed. I'll show you when it's all put together, but we're about to. It's in a huge box with a lot of pieces. We're about to get started. Y'all, this comes with gloves. Look at that. Look at all the little screws, but this isn't going to be hard. It comes, usually you use the Allen wrench. Oh, Kaya, you're going to have to go find one this size so me and you can both do it or get the, it's on the desk in the kitchen. But we're going to put together her bed. We got all the pieces and we're going to get, those are just the slats right there. It's actually not a lot. It's not too bad. Just a lot of screws. We'll be all right. It was laying on Kiki's rug, but we got her bed put together. Y'all look how nice this bed is. And then that was from the spare room that we had. Matches perfectly in here. She's washing her sheets, but it can't, it's so nice. It's like a velvet. This little mirror, I got this from Wayfair. My bed's from Wayfair also, just hasn't came yet. Hers is here. Quick Walmart haul is items for the new apartment. Sorry, if you hear the laundry going, I got the TV on. We're still unpacking. We're still getting everything in its right places, but I wanted to share with you what I got at Walmart because we needed some sheets for our bed. Kaya got her new bedding. Asked me a new scratcher, bathroom stuff. Let me share it with you. First things first, our sheets. So my bed's supposed to come later this week. So I got a new set of white sheets. Gotta have several sets of sheets. So got some Egyptian cotton from Walmart. These are a little pricey y'all. The king size was 69 or 64 for the Egyptian cotton. They actually feel really nice. So I grabbed those. Also got Kaya a gray set. Hers is queen though. Hers was cheaper than that. I think these were 52, but they're still pricey. I couldn't believe I'm like Walmart, but hopefully they're really nice sheets and you can't be having just a really nice clean sheet on your bed. Love it. The best feeling ever. Next up, I love getting these scratchers from Walmart and it's gray and it's got the little, I love this color wood, like the blondish wood with the gray. It looks really nice. It's called Seagrass Scratch and Play Post and it has like this little thing. I've bought this before for them. They needed a new one. They tear these up so fast. Y'all know I've got several cats, so they tear them up really, really quick, but it's a really good one. So I had to get two of these toilet brushes for our bathroom. I like these because they have a lid on them and you can't see the dirty brush. So I love these just plain white for behind the toilet. Love them and she's mainstays just cheap little toilet brush. Then I grabbed some candles and I got gray ones, got clouds and rainbow. This is just the mainstays brand and y'all, this smells so, so good. So I got clouds and rainbows, right? Yes. Then I got, this was my all time like fall favorite. It's backyard bonfire. Love how these look. And then this one I have going right now in here and it's cozy comfort. This is one of my favorites and please don't mind my nails. I had to cut them all because I broke so many. So please don't mind those. Now for my bathroom and for the kitchen. So the hardware is like a nickel and this is the exact color right here. This is by Better Homes and Garden and I just love the clear glass. So I got this for the kitchen sink for the soap as well as my bathroom. So I got this one and these are like a heavy duty glass. It would be hard to break. I got this, I got this set and this for the bathroom. Also for the kitchen though, cause I can put the scrub brush in here and like the straw cleaning thing in there. So it would fit, it's a big hole. Again, Better Homes and Garden. So I got this for the kitchen and one for my bathroom. And then for my bathroom, I got this tray. I usually put my jewelry and stuff like that on and it has the same little thing, which I love, called a vanity tray. You could also put this by the sink also and put your sponges and stuff, but I don't want all my sponges out. I think I got a plastic one that's going to go in the sink that I got from Dollar Tree. So, but this is definitely for my bathroom. Also for my bathroom, I got the matching trash can. This is the other set. I told you I got one for the kitchen, one for the bathroom. That's the other set. And then this is my trash can for the bathroom. So it all matches. And then for Kaia's and Cash's bathroom, Kaia went with a black shower curtain with like rhinestone shimmer in it. So I got them a black trash can and it's got like ridges on it. I don't know if you can see it. This is by Mainstays. And then it had the matching little thing where you put the toothpaste and the toothbrushes, tongue stuff, and then the soap. So I got this little set. It looks really nice. Even though it's gray inside in there, they're going with like black shower curtain, black accessories. So that's theirs. And that's it from Walmart. I am cooking some chicken with angel hair pasta and herbs. Y'all, these are only like 99 cents and this is such a quick, easy meal. I get two boxes, a pound of chicken tenderloins, and then I cut my tenderloins up, season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, and cook that up. And then we're going to make this with it, like all together, like a pasta, almost like the chicken alfredo. What the quick angel hair pasta looks like with the chicken. It's so good, y'all. It's quick and easy. Kaia's just going to have it for lunch and we'll have some left for dinner.
