BEST FOUNDATION EVER?!

Hi guys, welcome to my English channel So today's video is going to be a review on a foundation that I am obsessed with So it's not gonna be a first impression because I have used this foundation And I'm only doing a review for you guys because I am obsessed if you guys try it You will like it as well and the story behind this is funny because and by the way, this is not a sponsored video okay, just saying that Givenchy sent me products while I was in Paris and The season before this one it was the first time they sent me products because they don't never sent me anything at home before and I actually never really used their products before they sent me anything, which was funny So then when they sent me like a box, the first thing that I started using was this bronzer right here. The Le Cezanne, Le Cezanne bronzer, which you guys have seen me wear a lot. It's a beautiful bronzer I wore it today too, but then I decided to try their foundation But then the color at the time that they sent me was off and it wasn't my perfect shade So I I kind of started mixing it, which is the Matsumi velvet. Okay, I should say the name of the product that I'm reviewing today It's a Matsumi velvet foundation, which is a radiant matte foundation with SPF 20 The packaging looks like this and I tried this foundation It was off the color and then I started like mixing with other foundations. It was too dark for me So I started mixing it with lighter foundations that I had and I love the finish But then I didn't really know like the actual Result on it by itself because I kept mixing with other foundations so just lately like three weeks ago that I actually started using it by itself and I was like, oh my god. I have been missing out on this for so long Because I never tried it by itself because I went to this I decided to go to the store and buy it my right color Which is number six matte gold Well, I actually have two because matte honey number five is my winter color when I'm lighter and number six is my summer color Which is the color right after it. So then after I started using by itself, I'm like, oh my god, this is so amazing It's super lightweight on the skin and it gives you coverage because you guys know I am like a coverage girl I need coverage and a lot of times the foundations that give you coverage make you cakey and Throughout the day it becomes cakey after you put your concealer on and everything else on it's just heavy, right? And we all want foundations that are lightweight that looks natural on your skin and this foundation just I don't know It does it all for me. It gives me coverage. You can layer it I'm gonna talk about it throughout the video and show a tutorial Applying it with all the products on top and I'm gonna show you throughout the day how it looked on my skin So you'll see right now and I just apply it. I just applied it now. I filmed it But then now I'm gonna film videos. I'm gonna go to the gym do my nails So by the end of today, you will see how it still looks on my skin. Just really in love I hope you guys watch this this review tutorial because it's a really amazing foundation and I can say that it's my favorite foundation of All times maybe because it's so natural on and I don't know. It's so beautiful on you guys I really hope you try it like go to Sephora and get a sample and try it because it is amazing But the only the only down Thing on it right now that I can tell you guys is that Givenchy doesn't make a really big range of colors. So Maybe some of you won't be able to find your perfect color Unfortunately, they don't have I think they have like only maybe ten colors or eight. I have to check That's the down point of it okay, sometimes I mix these two because I'm in between like summer and winter because I bronze my body but I feel that there Isn't a lot of colors. There isn't enough range of colors So Givenchy, please do more colors on this foundation because it's so amazing and everyone should be able to try it and use it I'm sure you guys have seen other reviews on it But I decided to do mine because I am really obsessed with this foundation. I actually have two colors of the Givenchy's I have number five, which is more my winter color and number six, which is my summer color Number six is the one I had before that. I had to keep mixing with other foundations to get my perfect color but then number five is the one that I'm wearing now, but since I have both I just give when I bronze my body because I do a lot of like the artificial bronzer on my body So I get a little tanner when I do that I pump one of the darker shade and it's natural to do that right because I'm always like I'm not consistent with my color I keep getting really white during the winter and then I bronze my body and then I have to Pump up the color on my face as well. It's a mess. But anyways, my colorful winter is number five Okay, and for summer is number six. So what I like to do is just pump it on Flat usually I use like a product. I just mix it. So right now I'm using number five in a pump of six Whatever is in the brush. I put it there so I don't lose any product So I have my skin prepped with whatever I do usually which is a serum to hydrate my skin And then a primer the primer that I've been using lately is this one from Smashbox the radiance one the photo finish Radiance, so I use that with any foundation just to give my skin a little glow So I take my Beauty Blender sponge wet and then I come here get product and then I just start dabbing the first impression that you get when you start applying this is that it's super super lightweight, but The amazing part of it is that it gives you coverage Layer of it is so thin that you can build it up if you want even more coverage It feels so fresh on the skin as you can see it blends really well. So a little goes a long way I think I put too much product today of mine. It goes on really beautiful with the sponge I don't really like using it with the brush. So my recommendation to you is use it with the sponge And you get a more beautiful finish and more coverage that neckline And look at this Only dabbed it a little bit It's just so beautiful on This side nothing. It really like just makes you Sorry Bless you. Thank you. I Got more product here So as I put this on feels really lightweight on the skin it does not feel heavy And it just starts giving you that beautiful coverage and right away you notice that it's a matte finish foundation So it's perfect for summer but what I get scared of matte finish foundations is that most of them crease you like under the eyes or wherever you have wrinkles and This one when you apply it, it's super glowy and then it dries a little but it doesn't dry too much to that point After like an hour that you have it on I'm gonna film it for you guys Throughout my day so you can see you just got like that Beautiful natural glow like that natural glow that you have in your skin and it transfers to the makeup It doesn't get cakey at all. So that's what I like about it It's matte finish, but it still gives you that natural glow. So that's it Just dab dab dab. I did my facial yesterday. So I have like some spots from extraction But still covering it you see now if I wanted to build it up I could apply a little more of it I kind of don't want to but maybe I'll do it just where I have these spots so you can see Do it right here right there And once you build it up you can give like a second layer and it's still gonna look really natural That's what's most special about this I think because if you want really natural can do a really really thin layer and go out during today And if you want more coverage like a really perfect face skin, you can apply two layers I mean one layer is enough. But for those who like really really heavy coverage Full coverage you can definitely do two layers. Okay. Oh, it's just so beautiful on Okay, so that's how it's gonna look on your skin One thing I didn't say you have to shake it. Well before you use it That's what it says in the directions You can apply it with a sponge or a brush like I said, but the sponge is definitely my favorite about powder I'm gonna finish your skin with you guys. So you see what I use to look beautiful. Whatever I do not need powder with this foundation Which is amazing because it's matte finish and using powder will only give you more coverage more stuff on your face So for a day, definitely don't use powder and you'll see Throughout the day today that it's gonna look matte finish and hopefully I won't need to touch up if you are doing night Look, and it's really hot or something if you really oily you can use a little bit of powder But I recommend just on the t-zone or like a really thin powder But you really don't need powder with this foundation, which is amazing, okay So now I'm gonna finish my skin really quickly. I'm not gonna talk much through it But just so you guys see how the products go on top of it, especially like bronzer contour That's what I'm most picky about with some foundations so it doesn't smudge and stuff But here's concealer by Tarte shape tape. So I apply it here with the sponge as well And this concealer does have a little bit more coverage and I apply it all over this area So it's really important for me. I mean it looks much better when I use a Foundation with the thinner consistency because it looks more natural It doesn't get cakey around this area, which is something I get with a lot of foundations And I love this concealer too much. So it's working perfectly this combo this concealer with this foundation I'm obsessed So the only place that I'm gonna use a little bit of powder is my nose because I also highlight my nose with cream highlighter So I'm gonna take a little bit and apply it here and the rest of my forehead, which is like nothing and chin That's the only place I get a bit oily, but the nose is the part that gets really oily So I just apply a little bit of powder there and then I'm going to highlight my skin with cream highlighter Then for bronzer contour, I'm gonna start with my Givenchy bronzer, which is one of my favorite products This was the first product that I fell in love from Givenchy. It's really amazing So I'm gonna take this with a dual fiber brush And I'm gonna start right here and I'm gonna take this with a spotlight duster, which is a loose brush and Just apply it here. So this bronzer has a little bit of shimmer I love it for every day because it like contours, but very lightly And it gives you a really healthy glow You guys I'm gonna take my jacket my sweater off cuz I'm hot Whoo It's warm in here. So look at this how gorgeous is starting to look with just Concealer and a little bit of bronzer a little bit here on the forehead as well So the foundation with the bronzer both have a radiant finish The foundation is matte, but he has a radiant finish and this bronzer It is the brown that it up, but it has a little bit of shimmer, but just the right amount of shimmer Because I don't like shimmery bronzers, but this one is just rating. It's not shimmery, you know But I always like to put this and then a little bit of matte finish bronzer on top So what I like to do is either harmony from Mac which is like that brownish more rosy undertone or my tehacoda from Guerlain, I'm gonna use this one today because I want more of like a bronzy look So it's more a bit more on the orange side and I'm gonna apply it with the duo fiber So I did I don't get a lot of product. Oh You guys I'm so happy. I'm using this foundation. I'm so happy that I started using it by itself, too Because it's better than anything else. I Have today in my collection seriously So there we have it. And now I'm gonna contour my nose As you guys know, so it's a must Now I'm gonna apply the same cream highlighter here on my cheekbone and cream on top of this foundation as well It's so amazing Without using powder. Look at that only a little bit and you're good because Foundation already has a really in so I want to keep the skin simple and I'm using the same Bronzer tehacoda as my blush as well. So just apply a little bit here. Give it a smile That's it I'm not gonna mess with my skin anymore I just want to show you guys that if you just apply this with bronzer concealer and a little bit of highlighter You're gonna look beautiful For day or night. So this could be definitely a day face a day skin And you're not gonna be over because in person it's very natural once this sets in like after a half hour It's gonna look even more beautiful. So I'm gonna just leave it as it is and just apply lipstick As always a lip liner. This is hazelnut tea from Laura Mercier and then on top my lovely nude lipstick cream sheen Finish the creme de nude by Mac Let's keep it all nude today That's it Look at this skin. I Love this foundation, I mean love anyways, so this is it and now I'm gonna I still have to film two more videos Like that. I'm not gonna mess with my makeup But the light when I film videos that this light I have a ring light in front of me So it gets me really warm so I will show you my skin right after I film So the light makes you oily and stuff and I will show you that this foundation Will hold it. Hopefully it usually does but I will continue filming throughout the day with my phone I have to so I have to film I have to go to the gym and then I have to do my nails At night, so I will film throughout each thing that I do after I film after I come out of the gym and At night last thing at night. So right now it's like 12 o'clock In the afternoon and let's see how it holds throughout the day. So yeah, keep watching with me And you guys I haven't touched up anything and the skin looks perfect I if I had to touch up, I'll only touch up concealer here because I'm picky but the skin itself still flawless But let's see after the workout Sweating But my face is not Okay, I finished working out I did sweat a lot but my foundation does not look bad if even after a workout You can see here that my pimples now showing I mean a little bit of it is out, but it's still I'm totally fine Going out like this. My lighting is super bad here now because it's dark out. But this is it I really hope you guys like my review. This foundation is super weightless Amazing last so long on your skin no needs for touch up and the reason I did this review is because I really believe that this is It is my favorite foundation of all times and I'm so happy that I found it So I wanted to do this review so you guys can try it out to let me know.
