Park out in the wilderness of Tombstone
territorial Park in Canada where mist
and clouds Slither down valleys like
serpents and wrap vaporous tentacles
across the mountains is an easy 2.6 mile
roundtrip hike that is accessible from
the Dempster Highway and offers stunning
views of the surrounding area I visited
in fall and that can be a magical time
to visit the region although the weather
is cooler and less predictable and can
change quickly and forcefully at times
Autumn sets the land a light in a blaze
of color such as this Alpine bear
[Music]
Berry other plants bedazzle the eyes
with their Hues of Reds yellows and
orange as well plants such as Willow and
dwarf Birch
[Music]
the golden sides Trail starts out as a
road and then eventually turns into into
a trail the beginning of the trail is a
service road for that Tower but then it
Narrows down into more of a trail be
aware of bears in the
[Music]
area the fir weed starts to look like
it's on fire as it turns turns
[Music]
red it's a land of striking Hills and
large valleys carpeted with Tundra and
stippled by trees it's a big country out
here and it's the domain of big animals
such as Grizzly and black bears
Wolverine and lyx and farther north
caribou
[Music]
Mist Trails like snakes through the

mountains
[Music]
The Cranberries are getting ripe
now there's a really nice ripe one you
can also eat the
crowberries there's about a 300 M
elevation gain from the beginning of the
trail to the end that's about 900 ft I'm
surprised to see a flower Still In Bloom
here fall is a delightful time to come
up here and do this hike although the
weather is a bit of a gamble you never
know what you're going to get could be
rain could be wind could be be clouds
could be sunny could be everything in
one day fall starts early here about the
third week in August roughly around the
21st and may last until midt though some
years winter comes early and it may only
last a couple weeks so you've got to get
here while it's
happening the higher one goes the more
expansive the views seem to become the
trail eventually ends at a Viewpoint
however one need not stop here in the
Yukon a person can walk as far as they
desire in this seemingly endless

this is where the North kondake River is
the headwaters of
Klondike the mountains in the distance
are the reason this is called t

resemble Tombstone standing
