Multiple school districts including
Springfield and Holio are starting
school tomorrow and toy news reporter

last minute prep parents should know to
make the first day and week go smoothly.

Christina. Several other districts start
later this week and others after Labor
Day. However, the back to school
transition isn't always easy, so
educators recommend the whole family to
create a routine.
What time do you go to bed if you have
to wake up at 7:30? Uh,
normally around like 8:30, 9, so I can
just get like 10 hours of sleep.
Back to school Monday for many across
the region. Families prepping for the
big day. One dad not choosing to wait
last minute.
While he was on vacation, I made sure
his clothes were cleaned and prepped for
him. Um, all his uniforms.
Logan, a seventh grader this year, has a
nighttime routine, avoiding the chaos in
the morning. I go home, start packing my
stuff into my bag, go take a shower, and
then start to head to bed. Educators say
there are a few things you can do to
make going back to school easy. The
night before the big day and during the
school year, pack backpacks the night
before. Educators also say prep lunch
and snacks after dinner. You can also
set a nighttime and morning routine.
That could include picking out the next
day's uniform or outfit before bed and
setting an alarm for the same wake up
time every day. Experts say back to
school is the time to get things in
order.
Obviously, right now we're doing our
grocery shopping cuz he's going to need
uh lunch for the week.
The back to school transition can create
stress. According to educators, time
management is said to be a hack. From
planning transportation to and from
school to scheduling after school
activities, more than 75% of families
say they rely on a calendar to make sure
everyone is on the same page.
Educators also say making a routine can
be a family activity. You could grab
some markers, a calendar, hang it on the
fridge with the schedule for each day.
