Hi girls and guys, a quick update. I ordered two strings from Chabagroza and I got them today,
so I just wanted to share this with you. Just in case, I ordered two additional strings. I already
opened the envelope, the package. So I got two strings, here you go, two beautiful strings
from Chabagroza. So I'm just going to string my bow now. I'm not using the step through method,
I'm using a better method I saw from Armin and also Ronald from Bamboo Archery. He's got a very
good explanation how it is done. But initially I saw it from Armin. Armin is my source of like
when it comes to technique and bow choice and almost everything. But
you can get an amazing information from Ronald from Bamboo Archery as well. So I'm using
this method. I don't know how it is called, but let me see which one is the longer one.
This method works really, really well. I used to use the step through method, but
I felt that sometimes if I wasn't enough concentrated, I could bend the bow a bit.
But with this method, it just works. It just works. So this is what I do. I don't know if
I'm doing it 100% correct, but it works. So like this and I've got complete control
over the bow and the string. So this is a new string, so it needs a bit more time. See,
I can see both ends of the bow, both limbs of the bow. So I can see now that everything is cool. So
I let it go and that's it. The bow is strong. Very good. So I'm going to use my
environment friendly target I made yesterday. When I ordered my full carbon Tata bow,
I ordered some arrows with it that came with it. So this is an arrow made by
Chabagroza. Probably not by him, but it's a Chabagroza arrow made by his company.
So it's a beautiful one. What an amazing arrow. Wooden one. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Everything made by Chabagroza is a piece of art. So I'm going to be testing my...
You're testing my nerves.
So I'll be testing my Chabagroza new string and I'm going to be testing his arrows.
I'm sure everything is going to be okay. So I'm going to be shooting from close distance
and I'm going to be shooting bare thumb. That doesn't matter actually. So
I'm not going to do a full draw and I'm going to shoot for a closer distance, for a shorter
distance because I'll be shooting carbon arrows for a long time. So wooden arrow is something
different. But I'm sure this is going to be good. Did you hear that? That was the sound of a
broken arrow. So the main reason was a very poor execution and the secondary reason was
the back is too tough for these types of arrows. And I'm also going to be shooting again wooden
arrows that were made for me by a Bulgarian company. Definitely beautiful as well.
These ones are longer, like 33 and a half inches. So I'm not going to do a full draw at the beginning.
Let's see. So I'm, as I said, I'm shooting bare thumb. It's different shooting
into this target because of the packaging is quite thick and tough. You basically need
more durable arrows. I mean, so when I was filling up this bag with packaging,
I was, the thing I was doing, I was squeezing the packaging. So there was a bit of air in between
the creases. I didn't want to create something really, really, really solid and compressed.
It's not good for, especially if you're shooting
wooden arrows, it will definitely break one of your, some of your arrows, wooden ones.
The string just works perfect. Here you go. Beautiful. Everything made by groceries
is perfection. Bare thumb, good form, shoulders down and a bit of pressure and that's it.
Another one. Actually, I'm going to switch hands.
As I said, I'm not doing a full draw because I don't know how these wooden arrows will
work on that target. As I said, the packaging is quite, it's not very compressed, but it's still
thick and quite durable. So I'm not really sure. I don't want to break any arrows.
Let me show you another one. Okay. It's another grocery arrow. So basically I can, I feel that
this bag I created, that this target I created, it's more suitable for more durable arrows.
It's because, probably because the packaging is quite compact. It's quite tough for the arrow to
go through. So I'll be using this bag, this target, only with carbon arrows. I'm not going
to be using my wooden arrows with it because I feel they're going to break. They're going to break.
Maybe in the future, because I've got more of these natural handmade bags,
maybe I'll fill them up with something softer and not so solid and tough.
Yep. I broke this one too. Well done. So this is for now. I'm really happy with
the string I got from Grozer. Thanks for watching.
