Nobody Saw This Coming! Astrid Makes The Audience Sing In Harmony To "Africa" By Toto! | AGT 2025

Okay Yeah, I feel good energy behind me. I feel good energy with you with us So, who are you? My name is Astrid. I'm 34 years old and I've come all the way from Australia to be here today Okay, so tell us what we should know about you before you do whatever you're gonna do what's important I used to be a high school music teacher, and I now work full-time as a choir director Yeah, I think I might run the biggest choir in the world Where Right, you're very interested. I don't want to ask anything else because now I'm really intrigued. Good luck. Okay. Thank you so much. I Have no idea what's going on here. Okay, I'm gonna start off my choir choir with the song lyrics above So how it's gonna work high voices you are going to sing blue Voices in the middle you're going to sing green we have to do that We do this and voices that are low you are going to sing Fred Be brave. You are the act you try Oh, it's Africa Here comes the best follow your arrow here we go Loves a sing-along Sophia I Enjoyed it. I thought they enjoyed it. It was like a really cute moment I don't see where it could get better if you pass now, and I don't think it's for a GT You know, I think you're you're a really lovely girl, but this is your audition not their audition, you know, I mean Really really really gonna disagree with you and I'll tell you why I think what you did was really smart 20 seconds Every single person in this audience was singing the song So to have the capacity to do that within seconds and actually allow the audience to win The show is brilliant I'm gonna kick this off as you can tell because I really love this. Yes Yes for me I Just don't think it's right for America's Got Talent, I could be wrong, but I'm gonna have to say no and I'm sorry Oh Ming to other countries think of the world singing along at the same time big
