Hey, welcome if you're coming back, or if you are just joining for the first time today.
Ann is here, Mary, Bella, Candice is back for more.
Love it.
This is 10-10-10, you guys know the drill.
Alright.
Let's get to it.
This morning you do need one of the...
You need this band.
This one.
I can't talk, apparently.
Okay.
Let's get mobile, yes?
Last class.
We didn't let go bad.
I don't know if you were able to do it.
It was good, Ann. It was a good one.
It was a struggle with the drill this morning.
Tuck that leg up.
Hold it here, rotate that ankle.
One more time.
Good.
Squat it out.
And stab it out.
Ooh, hammies.
I don't know if you can actually watch or not.
I guess last week was a struggle with my parking.
A little twist down.
Class at 8.30 in the morning.
Switch sides.
Wide stance.
Side to side.
And drop the shoulder.
Good.
Turn those feet out.
Get a nice sumo.
Oh, yeah.
Three, two, and one.
Okay, let's get a little more dynamic.
Last class was rubber.
Banded, fight gone bad.
What the heck was I thinking?
At least.
Good.
Double.
Nice.
Hopefully feeling a little bit warmer.
If you weren't, if you need to pause me and warm up a little bit more, please do.
Alright.
Now we have a true HIIT class coming to you today.
30 minutes, so we got a lot to squeeze in.
And what I mean by true HIIT is it is strength, cardio, strength, cardio, okay?
First one, you got a sumo with a curl into a lateral lunge row.
Pick the right weights.
Alright.
Right here.
Now, the big thing I want you to remember is to turn your foot as you lateral lunge.
You may want to turn both feet.
You choose.
Ready?
Sit.
Sumo, curl, lateral lunge, row.
We turn that foot each time.
Bring the knee.
Crash.
Excellent work, you guys.
Come on.
Almost there.
3, 2, and 1.
Okay, we got cardio.
40 second cardio.
If you do not want to jump, go to toe.
3, 2, and 1.
Good job.
Okay, squat, clean.
Okay, and we're repeating this on one, both sides.
Cardio.
Heavy, heavy if you can.
Clean.
Keep to that one leg doing the lunge and the deadlift.
And then, today is one of those days.
The struggle is real.
Get those weights down.
Same leg that you were taking back is skipping, okay?
Ready?
Sit.
40 seconds.
Let's go.
3, 2, and 1.
Clean, lunge, deadlift.
Other side.
Sit.
So, Anna was mentioning last class that next week we were going on a channel.
My husband and I were bashing up a trick.
My father-in-law is an idiot.
Very ill mother-in-law.
We two are.
We would choose where we would choose to go in the circumstances for our 25th.
But life takes you places you don't expect to go.
And you just roll with the punches, right?
Okay, next one.
Lateral walk, high row, center.
Each time you walk, you go straight up.
I'm taking my mediums.
Back and forth.
Boom.
Ready?
Sit.
Let's go.
Elbows no higher than shoulders.
What the heck are these?
Right?
We got this.
3, 2, 1.
Arms and the legs.
Okay.
We've got a lateral shuffle with a squat jack at either side.
You ready?
40 seconds on the clock.
Let's get it.
You're going to alternate your arm that goes down.
Let me see.
2, 3, 2, 1.
Yep, I'm so happy.
Okay.
Actually, let's take a break.
Good job.
Wow.
Empty.
It's been cooling down so much.
You know, nights where you have to wear fluffy socks and bundle up in a blanket.
I'm ready.
I'm ready for that.
And drink tea.
I was doing that a little bit last week.
I was like, okay, this is fall.
This is important.
Yeah.
It's amazing.
Loose leaf rubus.
It's like caramel vanilla or something like that.
And then I found an ashwagandha and I mixed the two.
Evening relaxation tea to die for.
It's so good.
But no, that has to be taken away from me.
What the heck.
Okay.
No worries, Anne.
Next week I am out of town, but I am pre-recording all the classes.
So you're not going to miss anything.
Wednesdays.
And this weekend I will be Thursday with Friday.
So that's the plan anyway.
All right.
That band.
Back side.
We leave Tuesday afternoon.
We get back Saturday.
12th or 13th.
Okay?
All right.
Front press with chest press.
Squat to a rotating lunge push up.
So it looks like this.
Sit.
Let's go.
Thank you, Anne.
It's because we're going back to Vancouver and I just don't have the room where we're staying.
We're staying at my brother-in-law's house.
Actually, it could have possibly worked, but it's a little disruptive when someone else's house is not used to it, you know?
So, anyway.
I just figured this is easier.
I'll miss you live, but at least I'll still be there.
3, 2, 1.
Drop that band.
We got cardio.
If you can, ready, set.
40 seconds.
Let's go.
Make sure your feet and toes face the same way.
Oh, this one's getting me.
I'm telling myself just as much as I'm telling you guys.
3, 2, 1.
The struggle is real today.
Take that band.
We got tic-tocs.
Yes.
Squat and lift a leg.
That is it.
Drive it nice and high.
Extra resistance.
Set.
Let's go.
To another chest press.
Without that chest press is just fine, too.
Oh, booty.
Panties.
Come on.
3, 2, 1.
Good job.
We've got fast beats, and the only cueing is going in and out.
That's it.
Okay, ready?
40 seconds.
Pick it up.
Let's go.
In, out.
Regular.
In, out.
Come on.
Yes, you can.
In, out.
Okay, one more.
With the band.
Sumo retractions.
If you need to go down to just one side of the band, do it.
Ready, set, let's go.
Remember those arms stay straight.
You're trying to squeeze those shoulder blades together.
10 seconds.
3.
Okay.
Skaters.
Simple.
Everything we did today.
2 and 1.
Okay.
Grab some water.
We have one last mini set left.
Core focused.
Okay.
Hands first.
Stir the pot.
Okay.
And straight back.
Okay, so step out, stir, and then.
Okay, I'm going to do that one more time so you can see.
Stir the pot.
Drive the elbow.
Let's go.
This seems a little more intuitive to do that.
Okay, cardio is a jump shot.
Step back.
Ready?
Let's get it.
3, 2.
We got one more.
So, we got a suitcase.
Okay.
Other arm is here because we're doing a nice 90 degree raise.
Okay.
But I want it to be lighter so that you're forced to balance out.
Okay.
As best you can without leaning to that side.
Okay.
So, looks like this.
Squat.
Lean.
Raise and press.
Okay.
If it's too heavy, you know, switch to a lighter weight.
But my preference is hip.
Okay.
Ready, set.
Let's go.
Stringing that elbow, bringing it up.
3, 2, 1.
Switching sides.
Same thing.
Ready, set.
Let's go.
Last one right here.
3, 2, 1.
We got a jack 180 combo.
Okay.
Ready?
Set.
Two jacks and a flip.
Let's go.
3, 2, 1.
Big stretch out in front.
Mind the crazy music.
And 7 pull.
Good.
Take that same leg and hang on to something.
Do it.
Put your forearm.
Nice stretch right here.
Oh, that's good.
Take the same way back behind you.
Get a nice calf stretch right here.
Yeah.
Roll through to the toes.
Push back down.
Roll through, roll down.
One more.
Switch sides.
Take it out front.
Thank you, Candice.
And we still have absolute core.
If you can join in.
I totally get it.
Yeah, take off.
Oh, big core.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, good.
Get it, Anne.
That's a great one today.
Hard.
It's a tough Monday for sure.
Good.
Take that leg back behind you.
Get that calf stretch.
Oh.
Rise up onto the toes.
Put it back down.
Last one.
Arm across that chest.
Thank you, Mary.
Good, good.
Switch sides.
Triceps.
Thank you, Bella.
Arms back behind you.
Stick out that chest.
Snap, crackle, pop.
What the heck.
Awesome.
Thank you, guys, again.
The woman who doesn't require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.
How true is that?
Because you don't need other people to tell you what's up.
You do you, right?
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Have a great rest of your day.
And I'll see you in the next class.
See you tomorrow.
Bye.
