Port Orleans Riverside Resort Room Tour - Alligator Bayou 2022 - Walt Disney World

hi this is josh with resort tv one and today i'm taking you on a tour of a port orleans riverside standard room we hope you enjoyed the video please remember to leave us a like and a comment as well so you can tell by the furnishings here that is very rustic and very woodsy so that's really cool i'll show you the view outside here in just a bit but you can see here that you've got two queen size beds really really nice furniture it actually has been upgraded a little bit in the last uh several years i'm not exactly sure when the upgrade was but we used to stay here in the mid 90s and it actually was a lot different back then at that time the beds were a little bit different and i'm not sure i think we had a rollaway bed instead of this fold down so we'll talk about that here in a minute but the tables look about the same which is cool so i remember eating breakfast on these tables when we were when we were growing up we always used to stay here like i said in the 90s even the the air conditioner is rustic we got our drinks there of course gotta have a coke right all right and then we've got resort tv on the walls there on the tv i should say and let's check out this fold down bed this is a really cool feature especially if you've got five people in your family or you just want a little bit extra privacy it's also super cool because you've got um there we go you got the scenes from princess and the frog there which is super awesome so it's a nice sized bed you could probably sleep a small adult on there but it'd probably be mostly used for kids um so you know especially um it's kind of tailored to kids with the awesome princess princess and the frog cartoon there and so yeah so it's very very nice some of these have like little lighting packages on them but i don't think this has a switch for lighting but still really really cool and you can tell it's been updated because you've got the uh a lot of people want to know about charging and you do have um four charging or you know four regular electrical outlets but also two usb ports so you've got your choice and if you want to put your devices right here on this nice little ledge and charge them all up that's really something that's very easy to do so that's really good you know i've been to hotels before and not had adequate charging so uh definitely adequate charging here there's also another just standard outlet right under the table if you have some other things to plug in maybe laptops or something you want to work on and so on and so forth got your thermostat little hat rack or kind of a coat rack maybe and you've also got more outlets and a phone over here so you've got two outlets on the nightstand plus two two usbs and you can see we've also got some really nice bayou style artwork over here it's really relaxing to look at and this curtain is nice too again princess and the frog themed you can tell by the characters there sitting on the shores of course just like in every room they've got the coffee maker and things and this is also a mini fridge so if you're wondering if there's a mini fridge there definitely is really nice styled uh kind of uh enclosure for it so let's pull back this curtain and we'll check out the bathroom i do like by the way they have this curtain because it allows people to get ready in the morning without the light from the bathroom uh disturbing everybody else in the room gives a little extra privacy also it could do the same at night if you know somebody else is already ready for bed and um you know somebody is still getting ready you can actually close this curtain and then have a little extra privacy and don't have to worry about the light getting in your eyes so all right i guess it goes this way there we go all right so here is the bathroom and this is definitely updated and you can see acadian company it's pretty cool you can hear the air conditioner running over there you've got hangers an ironing board extra pillow and blanket all kinds of cool stuff there and the flooring is nice too it's a nice little design there and hello i'm actually dressed and ready for the pool we're going to take liam to the pool here pretty soon and they're in the bathroom you've got more uh kind of princess than the frog theming there it's pretty cool all right so yeah so you have it kind of cool here in the shower got the fake laminate wood panels here but it looks really nice actually again adds to the rustic nature of it and obviously with real wood you'd have to worry about it getting wet all the time but definitely the the faux wood is nice and they've also got the um shampoo conditioner and body wash that you cannot take with you i know that's a sore spot with a lot of people but that is kind of what they're doing now all right so we'll take one more look at the room and i'm in a regular angle i wasn't super wide angle just to kind of show you the room the area there but i wanted to definitely show you one more time through the room in the normal mode here so definitely leave a comment let me know if you have any questions or if i missed anything and i'm going to show you the view from outside too and liam's also going to say hi all right liam and steph just got back from the car liam what do you think of the room so far well um i wasn't sure about it but then i gave in of this amazing place there was this bed and it's meant for me all right so you think this room's pretty cool huh yeah that bed's awesome i love that that styling there you don't always get to sleep by your princess and the frog and a friends but this is pretty awesome just like you said i like it um and these are metroid grown ups and grown-ups friends that's right awesome so what'd you find liam um looks like a guide to the magic what does it say let me see it it says your take along guide to the magic all four theme parks and resorts that's awesome yeah and um my favorite character i'm going to tell you about goofy i like where i said [Music] and here we are outside the room you can see the beautiful bayou scenery here palmetto bushes and all kinds of trees and lots of forested areas even in the background disney did an amazing job kind of meshing the bayou feel with what was already here with the florida wildlife landscape if you're wondering we're in building 39 room 3918 so if you're curious um about what building in this area and everything like that this is room 3918. so yeah pretty good location here not super close to a parking lot but there is a pool just down the hallway here i'm not going to go all the way down there but it's just down the hallway there is a quiet pool so that's nice and close i haven't investigated how close the bus stops and stuff are but you can look that kind of stuff up on a map so anyway beautiful landscaping beautiful trees even though it's a little bit rainy right now it kind of adds to the bayou ambiance so it just rains we get this nice example of what the bayou swamp really or at least kind of what it really might look like even cypress knees there all right liam thanks for helping me make the video it was my pleasure awesome
