This looks interesting.
Who are you?
Do you not want to talk?
How old are you?
Are you excited?
Do you think that you're hot?
Okay, good luck.
Is it magic?
It's an apple.
Are you kidding?
Really?
Ice shot with the wax.
He's going to use his sword!
No!
Oh my God.
That is... Oh my God.
You're walking a little funny.
Did you poo-poo in your pants a little bit?
That is horrible.
That is amazing.
I mean, I wanted to leave but I was frozen stiff.
You know what people are going to be saying tomorrow?
What?
How much of an idiot is Howie Mandel?
Howie, I can't tell you.
That takes balls.
I wouldn't have done that.
Good for you.
Now you're telling me that.
I think it's even better,
the fact that you nearly killed Howie.
I mean, literally,
you were two inches away from being dead there.
That was incredible.
Well done.
Mel.
I actually, for once,
I felt your pain.
I felt really sorry for you.
I know.
But having said that,
I loved it!
You're mysterious.
You had everybody engaged.
And you're hot.
You put the wax right in your eyeballs
and then put tape on.
I mean, you could really not see anything.
I thought it was incredible.
Well done!
All right, let's go.
Howie.
My brain is saying,
please say no.
But I know as a judge,
the real answer is yes.
Mel.
I loved it.
It's a definite yes from me.
I think...
Well, I want to see what you do next.
Definite yes from you.
I'm going to say yes.
Four yeses.
Well done.
Howie,
I actually thought it was the end of you.
What is your name?
My name is Jack the Whipper.
Oh.
Well.
And how old are you?
I'm 33.
Where are you from?
I live in Boston.
So, what is your act?
So, we're going to do some whip cracking.
And we're going to try and not let the nerves take advantage of us.
And we're going to try and have a good time.
That's right.
Jack, who taught you how to do this?
I grew up in the circus.
My dad taught me.
So, this is your day job?
I am a news anchor for Boston's NPR News Station.
Do they know that you're here with your whip?
Yes.
They're very well aware of what's happening.
Jack, go ahead.
Thank you.
So, I've been cracking whips since I was about seven years old.
And over the last 25, 26 years,
I've learned all the different whip cracks you can do.
The front crack.
The back crack.
The over the head crack.
The side crack.
The flip crack.
Even the super fast crack.
What I think a lot of people don't understand
is just how accurate a whip can be.
And you can do that all over the place.
You can do that in front.
You can do that just behind the back.
No look.
But the very important thing about that trick is
you've got to pop the hip.
He took the tip off of that sucker.
Now, hold on a second.
We did not get that entire target,
so we're going to do this.
We're going to shorten this target just a tad.
We're going to put it on top of the head like so.
And we're going to go just like so.
Now, I have one more trick for you.
I was going...
No!
I was going...
I was going to use Howie for this trick.
But Howie's not here,
so we're going to do it on myself.
You Simon!
No, Simon scares me.
No, no, but he just buzzed.
Simon! Simon! Simon!
Howie! Howie! Howie!
Howie's strong back there.
He's like...
You're going to be fine.
That was Safiya.
I'm going to take this target,
and we are going to put that
right in between your knees.
It was Safiya who pressed the buzzer.
No, it wasn't.
That is not true.
Now he's just worried
because he has the whip.
And if you would, Simon,
can you get into a little bit
of a squat position for me?
Perfect.
A little bit closer together.
No, no, no.
Knees closer together.
Perfect.
Now, Simon,
can we make this quick?
I want my phone.
I want to take a picture.
I'm not going to make you
hold a squat position for long.
Here we go.
Do not move.
Oh, the blindfolds come out.
I just said,
oh, please.
That energy,
that adrenaline,
that was amazing.
I was, like, suffering.
I hated it, actually.
I hated it because it's so good.
What did you think, Howie?
I agree with you in every way.
It was so cool,
so dangerous.
The speed that you're
throwing things at each other
while you're both moving
are things beyond
what we have seen before.
Season 17 is just
blowing my mind.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
I was scared.
It was frightening.
I feel like you were
a little scared, too.
I could see you were, like,
so relieved every time
he didn't hit you.
And when it was over,
you both were like,
yes, we did it
without hitting each other.
Simon, what do you think?
What you do,
I can only imagine
how scary it is.
If you want to try,
I invite you.
Go ahead, Simon, go.
Okay.
Really?
Okay, what do I do?
Okay, you just
stand in the middle
without moving.
Okay.
Have you watched the show before?
Yeah.
Do you like me?
Yes, of course.
Do you like me?
Yes, of course.
I guess it's safer
than being on a bike.
Howie, shut up.
Okay.
Oh, no.
Okay, so we're going
to vote now.
Howie.
Oh, yes.
Heidi.
Yes.
Simon.
This means a lot to you.
I can see that.
I'm definitely saying yes.
I'm going to give you
your fourth yes.
How scary did that look?
Tonight,
I'm going to be doing
a bigger explosion
than I ever have before.
I'll be climbing
into a three-foot
by six-foot box
with six sticks of dynamite.
All right,
so the safety meeting
will start right now.
Everybody needs
to understand
nobody is allowed
to go in that box
except JP,
the one with the hat,
and he'll determine
when it's safe to go.
You want to stay away
from the blast radius.
That's where we have
the distance for
a table of distance.
So we'll stay within
those tables of distances
and we'll be safe.
There she is.
I understand
that those six sticks
of dynamite
can obliterate
13,000 pounds of rock.
Why would anyone
in their right mind do this?
I'd be a little crazy
to not be scared
of this act.
With an explosion this size,
any number of things
could go wrong.
Make sure you check
your gear.
Breathing's important.
You know that.
The stress that this explosion
will put on my body
is insane.
Ambulance.
Got it.
If you need to call it off,
there's no problem.
Don't feel any pressure
to say,
oh, stop.
Paramedic.
Got it.
If I don't exhale
at exactly the right moment,
my lungs could implode.
The results could be deadly.
Once that door closes,
there's no stopping this.
I'm scared.
Get out.
Get all cameras out.
There she is.
She's getting in, guys.
She's getting in the coffin.
Oh, my gosh.
Ready.
Her father looks worried.
Look, look, look, look, look, look.
Now he's nailing her in.
Make it hot.
Walk into the box.
Do not try this at home.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Oh, no.
She looks devastated.
She's moving her leg.
Good.
She's good.
How do you feel?
I feel like I just took
a sledgehammer to the chest,
but I'm glad I did it.
I still feel the pressure,
and I think the adrenaline
is kicking.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, well, we're going to
go back inside,
and we're going to see
what the judges have to say
if they still have their ears.
Great to see everybody.
Give me your first names
again, please.
Angelina Na.
Angelina and?
Michael Angelo.
Okay, and this is
father and daughter.
Why don't you tell everyone
your story?
Well, our family
has been performing
since 1840.
I'm 8th generation.
Amazing.
We actually got our family name
from the Queen of England.
She told my grandfather
that the Sway Poles,
your act, is simply Nervless,
so now our name
is the Nervless Knox.
That's our stage name.
And tell everyone
what your dream is.
My dream is to continuing
this family tradition of ours
as long as possible.
And we met a few months ago
on AGT Extreme.
There is no net.
There is no airbag.
That is insane.
That's insane.
That's crazy.
This is incredible.
We will see you in the final.
Thank you.
We were so excited.
It was a dream come true,
and we did so well.
We were so grateful,
and then I got sick.
So they weren't able
to compete in the finals.
But we're back.
Are you going to do
the same thing,
or are you going to do
something different?
Since Extreme,
Angelina's been performing
in our backyard.
New stunts.
We don't use any safety devices.
We practice a lot.
So I hope you enjoy
what she's learned.
Let's do it.
Good luck.
I don't know.
She's pulling out
of the blindfold.
No, no, no.
Hanging upside down.
Oh, they're switching poles.
She's stuck.
Okay, wow.
Heidi?
I mean, my hands are wet.
My heart is beating.
I'm slightly seasick.
I mean, this was going
back and forth,
and thinking about
the two of you,
I am exhausted.
You guys are fantastic.
Thank you so much.
And you leave us
wanting more, honestly.
Sofia.
That was intense.
What were those guys
on the side doing?
Were they gonna be able
to catch you?
No.
Probably not.
I think that was spectacular,
and I think everybody
was going crazy.
I think what is amazing
about you two
is that you look so normal,
and you're not.
You're just not.
I think what you did
just then was unbelievable.
Strangely,
this was, for me,
more intense
because it was so close.
I could see something
going on up there
because you were kind of like
signaling to each other
what was going on up there.
As the act went on,
I could see Angelina
was getting physically tired
and emotional,
so I was worried about her.
I told her to take it easy.
Remember all the training,
and she will be good.
We're just human beings
in the end,
so we have to be careful, too.
To us, this is
the greatest stage on Earth.
This is it right here.
Well, still got to vote.
Let's start with Heidi.
It's a yes.
Thank you.
Sofia.
Yes, of course.
And now you have
the three yeses.
You're through
to the next round.
Congratulations.
Wow!
That's awesome.
It feels like missing out.
Whoo!
All right, we made it, Angelina.
We did.
Yeah, come on.
Because you guys are Colombian,
but that was my favorite act.
Thank you.
Thank you for all the judges
are going to say,
but if they don't say
what I want them to say,
there's going to be
trouble tonight, so howie.
There's going to be
no trouble for me.
I'll tell you,
the act was amazing.
Thank you very much
for the votes.
Thank you, really.
Really, we appreciate that.
Thank you, thank you.
Heidi.
First of all,
when you were in the middle,
when you had everyone
kind of holding
everything on your head,
I mean, it was incredible.
Like, I saw all your veins
pop out of your head.
I saw you on top.
You saw the veins?
Because he was like...
I mean, it was crazy.
What do you think?
You're brothers.
Yeah.
I think that, in a way,
makes everything more special.
You've got this
very kind of cool
strength about you.
What you did
was very dangerous.
This is exactly
the kind of act
America's Got Talent
is all about.
Thank you.
Can I be the first
to give you a yes, please?
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Definite yes.
Thank you.
Howie.
Si.
You're in!
Si!
Hi.
Hello.
What is your name?
My name is Kevin.
Hi, Kevin.
And where are you from?
France.
Where else?
Silly me.
Welcome to America.
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you.
And what do you do in France?
Mentalism.
Mentalism?
Yes.
How old are you?
I'm 32 since yesterday.
Happy birthday.
Oh, happy birthday.
So how long have you been
doing mentalism?
12 years.
So you do it full-time
for a living?
Now, yes.
And what is the reason
that you wanted to be here
on America's Got Talent?
When you love something,
you want to share with as
much people as possible.
And this is the biggest stage
of the world.
Yeah.
That's wonderful.
Go ahead.
Mentalize.
I'm going to show you
a mind transmission performance.
But between you, judges,
and Mr. Terry Crews.
Come on, Terry.
Okay.
I got you.
Mind transmission.
Thank you so much.
Right, so I come to you.
Okay, here we've got photos
of AGT finalists
from all the seasons
of the show.
Ladies, you will pick one each
and without showing it,
look at it,
then put it under your cup.
Heidi, put your finger
on the photo.
Okay, take it.
Keep your finger.
Perfect, thank you.
That's yours, no worries.
Sophia, put your finger
on the photo.
That one, take it.
Okay, now let's do this.
Now, I'm going to extract
the mind of Terry.
Then, grab your thoughts
and put it inside.
And so, do a mind transmission.
Keep your concentration
and your eyes closed
from now till the end.
And imagine,
imagine me extracting
the mind from your head
and going inside.
Oh my God.
Then, deeper
to your memories.
This is crazy.
Ladies, think about
your contestants,
their talents,
their props.
Heidi, I'm gonna extract
the contestants
from your mind.
Does it make sense?
Sophia,
think about your contestants.
Then, Terry,
imagine your mind
coming back to your head.
And open your eyes.
Take this board
and write the names
of the two contestants
you felt.
Terry.
Okay.
It's all up to you.
Show us the board.
Is that correct?
It is.
Oh my God.
Amazing.
And Simlyn.
It is.
That's amazing.
Wait.
One last thing.
Judges,
at the very beginning,
I left a photo
of myself here.
The other reason
why I left it
even before you chose
your contestants
is because
this photo
contains
my prediction.
Wow.
Thank you.
I mean, seriously,
please.
Round of applause
for Terry.
Thank you.
One of those
brain things
that you had there,
that was incredible.
I've never seen
anything like it before.
And what you've done
from my brain
to Terry's,
it was incredible.
Thank you.
Sophia.
I don't even know
what to say.
That was so much fun
and it was such a
different thing to watch.
Thank you so much.
And Simon.
This act was sensational.
Absolutely sensational.
It was taking
this kind of act
into the future.
It was unlike
anything we've ever
seen before.
This is a Vegas act.
Absolutely brilliant.
Thank you.
The magic is far beyond
anything I have seen before.
That was appearing
in front of us.
Those graphics
were just floating
in the air.
I saw Terry Cruz's brain
in front of me.
It was crazy.
I think that's amazing.
I've never seen
anything like it.
I'm so excited.
I'm going to start
off the voting
with a,
as you would
understand,
wee.
Good job.
We've had so many
wees today
and now you've
got a fourth wee.
Good evening
and welcome
to America's Got Talent.
And you are...
Are you okay?
He's not okay.
You're not going
to talk to us.
I'm nervous for this.
Are you going
to talk to us?
You're not even
going to nod.
Sounds good to me.
Good luck.
This looks interesting.
The crazy things
people just
come up with.
He's going to
swallow that.
No he's not.
He's swallowing it.
Oh no!
Wow.
Me?
You.
What?
How?
You.
He pointed at you.
This is great.
I love this.
Hi.
Who do we have here?
What are your names?
I am Arnold.
I am...
25 years old.
I'm Martin
and I'm 20 years old.
And...
where are you from?
We came from Albania.
And we are brothers.
Brothers!
Bowler behind
the two of you.
Do you roll a bowler
for a living?
No, for a living
I do interior design.
Oh.
And you?
I'm in second year
of school
studying law
and we are self-taught.
But then again
a fun show in Vegas
or being a lawyer?
Both.
In the day
I study law
and I will be a lawyer
and in the night
I will do shows.
Yeah, good.
And you can negotiate
your own contract?
Yeah.
Because I don't need no one.
I have myself so...
So cute.
Alright, I'm ready.
Are you guys ready for this?
We're ready.
Yes!
It's still on his head.
It's going on his head!
You just reinvented the wheel
because roll a bowler
on top of a person
we have never seen before.
You guys are nuts!
Thank you very much.
What?
I mean
and I saw it there
it looked so silly.
It's like
what are they going to do
with that little tube?
I mean
that was amazing.
It had everything.
I mean
I could watch you guys
for a long, long time.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Well, as Heidi said
it's always good to see
something we haven't seen before.
I don't know
when you decided
one day
that's what I'm going to do
which is
to put that on your head.
The only thing
I didn't like
were the oranges
or the tangerines
whatever they were.
I think they're tennis balls.
They're tennis balls.
Oh, they're orange.
I thought they were.
He's eating so many.
He's seen them everywhere.
Why are you going to find
something bad about this?
Because it was unnecessary.
If you're going to balance
something
knives
I'm only trying to help.
Pay attention.
For the knives
this will be
the next show.
Thank you very much.
No oranges.
I lied for the mothers.
Three yeses.
Oh no.
I like that he shows us
how sharp it is.
Do not try this at home.
Please.
Oh no.
What is this?
Oh my God.
I've never seen
anything like that in my life.
Me either.
Oh man.
This is crazy.
Oh no.
No.
It's on his neck.
I don't want to see this.
No.
This dude is crazy.
That was fun.
I have a weird relationship
with acts like this
because I love them
and I hate them.
It's like I want to see
and I don't want to see.
This was giving me
all of those feelings
and it was amazing.
Heidi.
I've seen a lot of danger acts
but this I have never seen.
It's something new
and I loved it.
Thank you.
There wasn't a minute
where we had a respite
from just being terrified
and we are so thrilled
that you're exploring
your body and not ours.
It's like watching
The Omen
at lunchtime,
the movie.
It's just
real family entertainment.
So where does this go?
There is much more.
There is really much more.
I'm going to go to Howie first.
Howie, yes or no?
Oh yes.
You are amazing.
I agree.
It's a yes from me.
So now you have
four people
who want to see you
torture yourself
even more.
They didn't let up
for one minute.
You are living
another day.
Thank you.
Thank you, Testa.
Thank you and thank you.
Alright, God bless you.
Celebrate.
Hello everyone.
Hi, who are you?
I'm Moses.
I come from Spain.
Well, welcome
to America's Got Talent.
What will you be doing
for us today?
I'm going to do
some dance for you.
Okay.
Why America's Got Talent?
It's the biggest stage
in the world.
I'm so excited
to be here.
Well, we're excited
that it's you.
Thank you so much.
We've had
nice people today.
Because we are nice.
I don't know,
but it's not good.
