A Day at Sea World with Stef and Liam | Sea World Vlog 2020

hi this is Josh at we're at resort TV 1 and we are here at SeaWorld Orlando for the first time in several years liam this is his first time really that he remembers he came when he was four months old but we're back he's got his map you're ready to go are you gonna show us where to go [Music] let's see well so we're gonna go right there wow this is Sesame Street land I don't know how you read that but that's awesome he knows the Sesame Street logo so guys we hope you enjoyed the video we haven't been here for a while this is something outside the Disney World area oh it's okay but it's something outside the Disney World area is something new and different I can't wait to see it through his eyes see all the animals what are you gonna get today he's gonna get an octopus toy hopefully check out some of the dolphins they have here are you excited Liam say I got my Halloween Mickey Mouse shirt on because you know that's what I wanted to wear today and he's three so we let him pick out his own clothes but he's excited you excited about how many Mickey so so here we go there we go look at that okay I get you up buddy all right here comes Liam he is going down there is this really cool little kids dolphin viewing area down here look at this it was a really cool little viewing area they get so close down there thank Li I made a new friend so they've got all these different little viewing areas over here it's a lot of fun for the kids down there animal [Music] otherwise it's not good enough where some see do they convince consume could be thought of put on ice for over a week at a time sometimes they get really close don't they buddy but they're nice they're nice dolphin zoomed at all they are right here that is so close what do you think Liam do you like it here all day eat a bunch [Music] really fortune to have a beautiful day to be here - it's a beautiful park really I guess that before if you haven't been here you really should check it out [Music] so first of all they have the seven seas food festival going on which is basically like their food and wine festival and then they also have this seaside area here where they've got all these shops and different things right next to this really really cool Lagoon so the park layout is really really nice here and so they've got this new roller coaster that they're building over here and you can see it just across the just across the waterway over there by Shamu stadium and by the other Stadium there so Wow that looks amazing and see what is known for some of the most extreme coasters in Orlando and that one we just looked at the new one it's called ice breaker and that's the Manta right there it's actually a laying down kind of a coaster so I guess you're almost like a manta ray and this is the sealion theater they've got all these different theaters over here where they had all kinds of different shows that you can enjoy all day long so several different shows and we'll also go over here and check out Pacific Point Preserve which where you can see the sea lions all day long so here we are in Pacific Point preserve and sorry if the video is a little shaky you don't have the gimbal just to be able to enjoy time with the family a little more but you can see Kraken the light-blue coaster up there it was one of the first major coasters here and then behind that and right next to it the darker blue is mako shark coaster and so it's one of the faster coasters here in the Orlando area so and liam is having a great time he's bouncing and bouncing around everywhere hey buddy are you having fun okay the sea lions are gonna be loud but they're just talking oh they're getting some Sun getting some Sun and just chilling out [Music] [Music] mama and baby this guy found a very nice relaxing spot here on this rock [Music] it's really beautiful habitat they've created for the sea lions here kind of unique with all rollercoasters around it but really beautiful landscape here he's talking he's saying feed me yes you can't pay to feed them I said and pretty up there [Music] we think Liam our art Oh like scratching his back hello sir how are you today ask him how he's doing Liam [Music] you're doing great okay [Music] oh are they playing over there this one scratching that one's back over here he was now they're kind of calmed down a little bit a big adult male over there she was telling me his name's Rocky and he's one of the three adult males in the habitat and from this angle you can also see this big sky ride or sky turret thing I don't know what it's called off to go look at it but you can really see it from all over Orlando and we've never gone up in it before it is a separate charge from the admission but it definitely would have a great view that's for sure off take a look at the name of it here in just a minute so it's starting to say earlier these are harbor seals the ones that are in the back and a little bit less social and then the rest of them are California sea lions so most of the sea lions are what you see out here out and about but the harbor seals I believe that guys swimming right there is a harbor seal so they are a little bit different you can see here on the sign the the se line is loud and the harbor seal is quiet and shy as we hear some todo in the background here I can't have it on very long but this is called the Sky Tower so you cool to check that out sometime but that is the Sky Tower ride makes sense alright so we're gonna grab some lunch here at the spice mill waterfront and dining will show you some of the food options here and go from there we'll do more in depth videos and vlogs from all this later this is really just our day kind of having fun exploring with Liam so we were trying to be smart and beat the crowds but as we get to the door here we're noticing that it's only open from 11:30 to 7:00 so all restaurants here open at 11:30 as far as we can tell there may be one somewhere else but the spice mill and the pizza place we just checked open at 11:30 so keep that in mind if you like to eat early you're not gonna be able to do it till 11:30 here at SeaWorld but this is kind of just a brief overview you've got bacon cheeseburger Hawaiian chicken breast sandwich sustainable fish and of course beverages they also have a Dining Plan here all day dining all season dining so you can check that out as well there's information on the website about that a great view from here though at the spice mill restaurant you can see that new ice breaker coaster as well as a stadium over there they actually yeah and that really cool buddy you like the roller coaster he likes oh the American flag and the tall tall tower yeah that's cool isn't it so they have an orchestra show over here and I'm not exactly sure I need to look more into that we're kind of Siebel SeaWorld newbies here so we're learning as we go a little bit you know we feel like we have been in Disney World so much and know a lot about and I didn't do a whole lot of research before he came we're just kind of here to have a good time as a family so this is not informational this is just for fun but we do have I do remember at Christmas they have this really cool Polar Express show that they do in the stadium just right here next to the roller coaster so some pretty cool stuff here to check out so while we are waiting for lunch we're gonna check out the show doesn't start till 1:00 but we're gonna check out some of the beautiful landscaping here at the sea lion theater got quiet and see more the sea sea lion and otter theater but look at this landscaping here it's absolutely beautiful on the side of the theatre by the way sea world's owned by the same company that owns Busch Gardens and they really do a great job landscaping their parks you like it buddy he's cleaning so pretty alright so some restaurants apparently do open at 11:00 we walk down here along the seaside there's that way to the entrance and the see fire grill is open at 11:00 along with the flame craft barbecue so it looks like mostly a chicken chicken sandwiches grilled chicken wrap grilled chicken salad homemade desserts insides all kinds of good stuff so let's check it out so here's what we've got here grilled chicken sandwich grilled chicken salad you can see the price is about $13 for each one except for the chicken tender basket is a little bit more but overall pretty reasonable they also have the homemade sides and desserts up there so it's like a buffet style here they've got cookies fruit bowls salads wraps so everything looks really really good fresh fruit and then down here is the grill area while they assemble your order so we'll take a look at that here in just a second so you got a food service area there looking good all right let's go we got chicken tenders and salad I weigh so we should it briefly just a second ago but I've got the chicken tenders and I love that they have waffle fries here and Stef got the grilled chicken salad that actually and Liam's got his Sammy so he eats his own food most of the time but he he likes pizza quite a bit and a pouch and he's also got his jungle animals on the tray table protector there so and this is a really cool little eating area here it's actually like got this stage here so I don't know if they have stage shows this is in the sea front or grill but they have this really nice big theater seating area so it's like you can eat and watch a show all right well we're gonna enjoy our lunch finish lunch and we are following the leader right Liam we're following the leader all the way down to the Arctic and polar bear exhibit so we're gonna go check that out now one thing that's you think it'll be a little scary a one thing I noticed too and I think I'd heard about this is there's no Shamu show anymore it's an orca encounter so I think you can see the Orca killer whales but you cannot there's no show with them I think they made that change recently with all the issues that have been [Music] so we're gonna buy a toy alright so we got a pic one right I think he wants an octopus well we'll see what we can find buddy so here's a little closer view of the not yet complete icebreaker roller coaster so it'll be interesting to see what that looks like when it's completed it looks like maybe it stops up there at the top and then comes back around so that'll be fun track is going right over the sidewalk here and right next to the stadium so it's telling stuff I'm sure you got a joke something about pickles I like that when you had a good exercise joke too but yeah buddy so he's got all the jokes guys but I think they wouldn't have had the coaster here if Shamu stadium you know was still operating a show so obviously it would have maybe spooked the whales with all the people screaming with the coaster so close but anyway let's check out wild Arctic so we came in the backside of the wild Arctic we didn't want to do the ride it looks like it may be under refurbishment anyway but we get to see the beluga whales here Wow they are super impressive this is really cool oh no you're not moving it looks like the water makes it look like you're moving yep so it looks like you're moving but yeah you're actually staying still in this water is moving hello how it looks like they've got a shipwreck down here in the water that looks really cool actually this whole area is pretty neat here they've got like like you're in the Arctic there's like a sled and yeah like kind of like you're yeah like a cave we came in actually that way we came in through the store so if you want to skip the ride the team member told us that we could come in through the store and come in through the exit so that actually helps quite a bit so let's go over and see what's on this side I'm not sure what that is haha Liam thinks it's a pufferfish yeah that's okay buddy being fun oh oh here he comes it looks like a type of seal okay that's definitely a type of seal there's another one haha their seals buddy but that's okay oh look here he comes so he comes say hi friend [Music] is this fun say no I'm a seal have a so big belly yeah they're very active today oh wow gonna play in there [Music] beautiful creatures aren't they buddy yep he was letting air out there yup they said they'd go up to the top and they take a breath and then they come back down but they can hold their breath a lot longer than we can what is that they save about five minutes I think have to look that up it's like three to five minutes I think they can hold their back so there's more of this habitat over here and there's like kind of these sound effects that make it sound like there's like you're on a creaking ship or something oh the ice creaks okay [Applause] Cora born July 3rd oh wow hello extreme closeup there's two of them coming right at us Wow snow snow some of them have tusks and some of them don't yeah buddy it's a little scary he okay he's grabbing on to me they're a little scary just cuz they're so big right oh here we go look at that they're just kind of doing laps of them of the pool here yeah crunch ahead it's a walrus collision but it'd be quiet we have a walrus recording area in progress so we're gonna head we're kind of going backwards through this we're gonna head back up the ramp into the one of the other exhibit areas they used to have polar bears here but I've been told that they don't have polar bears anymore we're gonna go see what else is up here buddy you're gonna go check it out it's kind of cool all the radio chatter so it looks like now we're on the upper level of the walrus exhibit so really cool up here they've got this habitat that makes it look like they really are in the Arctic there's a walrus right there back into the water yeah here's a wide-angle shot you can see a little bit more of the habitat here what do you think Liam in that pretty cool it looks like you're in the Arctic at the North Pole yeah it looks like it is isn't it okay well it's great to pretend buddy [Music] it looks like an expedition in here it's like all kinds of different cabins and equipment and really cool very well themed in here for sure so this is the above-ground section of the seal side these are the same kind of habitats and they are kind of separated here which I guess the seals and walruses probably wouldn't get along Liam's excited to see our seal friends here to the underwater area of course you can see more but pretty cool [Music] [Applause] it's said they used to have polar bears I believe in one of these sections over here but they're no longer here but these habitats are absolutely beautiful Wow look at that like these big domes here and there are the whales gets dark over here I do believe that they have different times of day for for the whales to feel like they're in a more natural environment so they'll like turn the lights down and yeah and then they'll turn the lights back up during what would be considered daytime and there are certain times of the year you know when the Arctic is almost completely dark so they'd probably have to simulate that as well if you think at all how about if you ain't fun no okay well that's that's even better and here's a wide-angle shot of the whole room here there's a whale coming right there next to us wow he's so neat I think it's awesome buddy yeah we will let's go so here we are kind of at the top this is when you first come off the ride and you end up right here they've got this sky scan satellite wow that's pretty awesome so you can really see this big dome that we're in here like I said they used to have polar bears here it was in general they all have it belugas they are the most vocal of all they can make over fifty fifty purposes Oh right now did there used to be polar bears in this exhibit a while back yes it used to be in the next one okay okay okay right right polar bears are endangered correct yeah yeah so this is like just showing this a minute ago this is like kind of a shipwreck sitting here with a lot of fun the theming is just really really nice in here you can see into where we just were really impressed with this pavilion it's beautiful all right I think we're gonna brave it we're gonna go here into Sesame Street land what do you think buddy awesome so Sesame Street land here we come this is so cool look at this he's got Elmo and Zoe and Oscar we have to go say hi to Oscar oh my goodness you wanna go say hi to Oscar leo alright Liam let's go meet Oscar the Grouch say hi Oscar go get my hind 5 he's nice he's a nice guy go get mine 5 it shake his hand say my name is Lea I'm gonna get my hog Oh [Music] here come on let's get a picture ready say cheese Liam Liam jeez perfect Thank You Oscar say bye have a good day high five yeah the hostler stands up in his trash can - it's awesome this is so cool I had never really been in here before I mean literally they've built like a lot of Sesame Street here at Sea World we've got Hooper's store like I haven't watched a lot of the recent episodes but it is really really well themed in here I think Liam wants to go in so Liam actually got a friend who's your friend buddy his name is Bert right nice to meet you friend so the store is really cool in here actually it'd take him in there real quick and show some of the merchandise as a kid that like you know the four year old or three year old and me is like freaking out because they didn't have all this merchandise when I was younger this is like a deli and you're so cool so they've got all kinds of great stuff in here they've got every Sesame Street friend you could possibly think of and Liam I didn't chose Bert but Bert was right next to her knee got Snuffy and all kinds of different things here shirts toys even a big big bird look at the huge Cookie Monster and the gigantic Big Bird so cool and big Elmo too gotta love the Oscar shirt and the Cookie Monster shirt and they have a Grover one they have one pretty much for every character they also have a photo shoot over here and these are cool they've got Grover's all the way down to several other characters Elmo and Zoe I don't know everybody but it's really cool I love the count one two three what are we fine look at that we find Grover and Elmo they're saying hi to everybody oh wow looks like maybe Oscar is in here okay [Applause] [Music] do not knock on kin [Music] [Applause] poor Oscar so they've got this huge flash pad over there and they've got this amazing street painting here and it really it looks like you are really on like a Sesame Street or a neighborhood this is just really really well done oh they even have a mini roller coaster over there and a big big play area my goodness look at this Wow now we don't have time for Liam to play here today so we're gonna keep this a surprise for right now we have to get going to the next thing but we were definitely gonna bring him here in place soon and you got story time with Big Bird that is so cool the big nest all these buildings Wow all right so Big Bird is doing storytime [Music] look buddy cool so we're outside of Sesame Street here we are actually over here by infinity Falls so do not want to get wet but wow that is a big false pretty incredible I'm not gonna do that today wait till we have the GoPro and check all these rides out but definitely looks like people are gonna get wet so I'm gonna back okay so you don't actually get that wet so that's really really cool Wow a pretty big drop yeah it doesn't go that far down here there's the other into the ride this is quite a long ride it's not just the Falls it's actually fairly long little ride so Maiko it's only five minutes right now so I'm gonna go ride this I've only ridden it one time so I can't wait to ride it again I probably will not be able to show it on the video but I'll come back and do a GoPro video of it so Wow be awesome so Liam and steffel really nice like we'll see you in five minutes they knew I'd want to ride it there it is cannot wait to do this one of the things I remember about this coaster is the air time it gets incredible air time there's a few hills in the back section where you're kind of going up and down pretty fast and you really feel like you're weightless there for a minute one of the things that's cool here at SeaWorld is they actually let the guests sort themselves out there's no cast member or a team member up here just kind of picked your row and you go for it so actually works out pretty well you want to ride faster you're just getting whichever row is faster if you want to wait and do the front row you can go over here and do the front row so actually a really cool idea okay that was epic I haven't been on that in a couple years or since just right before it opened but wow that is really fast I think it's over sixty miles an hour which is I think it's it may be faster than that I'm not sure I need to look but the air time on that is insane you get several seconds of airtime where you feel literally completely weightless because the coaster goes up and back down so quickly so wow I will definitely get a GoPro video that one by that first drop it literally almost takes you straight down towards the water that's insane that is if you love coasters that is a great coaster definitely highly recommend it Wow all right so we're heading into the shark encounter to meet Stefan Liam they've got a Bandhan and EJ set up here so that's fun so this is the shark encounter this is pretty epic there's a tube that leads you through this water environment for the Sharks so let's check it out and here we are it's pretty cool you get to walk underneath of all the sea life here [Music] Wow [Music] again sorry if it's a little bouncy I don't have my gimbal but that's pretty cool [Music] [Music] to obviously very very crowded [Music] [Music] so here is the tube it says 3 6 10 elephants could us stand and 1 foot length of tube so the tube could handle it if the elephants would be able to stand there that's how strong that tube is the length of the tube would support 372 elephants alright so somehow I miss Li I'm in the end Stefan the shark exhibit but Liam what did you think of the shark thing you told me it was it was what earlier you said it was a little bit scary but pretty awesome right yeah what are we gonna go see next let's go see the Penguins so here we are we are in Antarctica or at least as close as you can get in Florida it's actually really really well done what do you think Liam look at all the snow huh [Music] the sun shining yeah it is their sun shining and their snow well that's pretty awesome to have both yeah really really cool what they've made here [Music] they have the Expedition cafe here and we'll do a more thorough review of this another time we're really just gonna go see the Penguins and then we'll be done for the day we've got our annual passes so we're gonna make a half day out of it and you know you can see quite a bit in just half a day here next time we'll come back we'll see some shows maybe and right now the penguin ride is 40 minutes 15 minutes for non riders so if you want a shorter wait and you want to get in faster you can do the non rider line here Liam's gonna climb the rock here no no no no you're not supposed to actually do it sorry buddy he likes to play with the snow probably like everybody else pretty cool though [Music] do you want to melt this you want to melt this snowman or make a snowman oh nice so we're getting close to the door here said 15 minutes so hopefully it won't be too much longer [Music] there's a little pre-show here kind of cool with all the screens and everything everywhere Williams excited well the Mickey Mouse goes in the dark that's cool [Music] in this place of Richard Dawkins [Music] [Music] measurements coming [Music] Oh to the shelter breeding season today is the last too much but the storm is moving closer and closer time is running out for one penguin named [Music] into the sea all right we're gonna begin our adventure right this way how the people riding are on the right hand side we are on the left hand side so we get to see the Penguins pretty quickly but it is very very cold in here so just kind of be prepared for that believe it's like 35 degrees once you get already I don't I don't wake you oh man look at this [Music] just a fire here how about that's amazing snowing back there incredible [Music] and this is where the ride exits out and you come out and you end up in the same place so as Lehman's really what do you think buddy what do you think Liam you want to go swimming it's a little cold come back let me know we're sure not [Applause] they have waterproof feathers so what do you think come here Liam cookie what do you think bud and that cool look hey friend it says hello hello mr. Liam hi my name is penguin Oh don't get much closer than that Wow it's incredible [Music] [Music] so what is the Simpson here was it like 32 or 32 you heard that here 32 degrees in here and by the way I realized well I was on Mako I saw some signs the cast members here are called ambassadors so they are wildlife ambassadors that forgot to mention that I was saying team members that's universal these are ambassadors so what do you think of the pigment they're totally awesome eveyone it's worth but Liam's not cold he's like running around creating his own energy pretty cool place right hey that was fun all right one more shot of this Little Rock area here I do love how it snows in the back that is so cool change the snow every morning well that's that's important because they use the bathroom on it obviously somebody's making some noise here so there are the Rockhopper Adaline Ginsu and king penguins they stand upright and take turns incubating an egg so oh I see you can tell how they raise their families all right let's go look over here well now that's fun we get to go through one of these things a revolving door but the point of that is to keep the cold air in I have no idea how much it costs to cool a building like that down to 32 degrees I mean it's like a gigantic freezer or gigantic cooler so they have underwater viewing area here which is really really cool very pretty in here [Music] they all look so happy and playful [Music] screeching Wow interesting snow map I see right before seriously defend their nests and there's another viewing area over here Wow it's really cool [Music] all right everybody we've had a fantastic day at sea well who can have fun in it awesome oh he dreaded that he's ready to say bye-bye but we had an amazing day we saw all kinds of animals that got Burt here we went to Sesame Street that's a ride I rode a ride and yeah there's just a lot of fun we just saw the penguins we got really cold and it was fun so what was your favorite part he's finally gettin tired penguin okay penguins what's his favorite bar so be sure to subscribe hit the like button leave a comment let us know what you think about SeaWorld it's nice to get off the beaten path a little bit did you have an extra day while you're at Disney come on we're going to SeaWorld it's a lot of fun there's a lot of things to see all right so be sure to check out our sponsors Mickey broad comedy travel gum for the best and free Disney vacation wedding advice also also be sure to check out mr.
