Glowy, natural, healthy, and foundation-free.
When describing this makeup look, I would prefer to use these words.
There is a fine line between dewy, glowing skin and greasy, oily skin.
Applying too much highlighter or using every single makeup product with glow finish or shimmers
may end up making your look like a greasy ball.
However, this look radiates while being natural on these areas where you would prefer it to glow.
Today, I'm going to walk you guys through all the makeup steps to achieve this glow makeup.
Without further ado, let's just get right into it.
Choosing a base is crucial for this natural makeup look.
The size of shimmer matters.
If your foundation contains large shimmers,
it may accentuate your fine lines and bumps under any light.
That said, you might want to consider choosing a product with soft and natural shimmers.
For base, I'm going to use this Jung Saem Mool Skin Setting Glow Base.
It contains fine shimmers with a pink base so it can brighten your face once you apply it.
Rather than applying it all over my face,
I'm going to apply it on the areas where I want to glow.
It would primarily be at the center of my face,
such as my front cheek, forehead, a bit of my nose, chin, and highest point of my side cheekbone.
Today, I'm going to mix two different concealers to customize the shade and formula I want.
The first one is the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer,
which has a thick and creamy consistency with high coverage.
This shade I'm using is lighter than my natural skin tone.
Second one is Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer.
It's a little bit darker than my skin tone and has medium coverage with a light to creamy formula.
So with 8 to Radio, I'm going to mix these two products to make a concealer
with medium coverage which has the perfect shade for my skin tone.
I'm going to apply with a buffing brush,
which is appropriate to use with a foundation that has a medium to high coverage
since it soaks all the moisture and glow from the foundation by blending all over my face.
As a result, you can see a natural but a glowy base achieved through all these steps.
To make sure that all base makeup I did is blended, I'm going to use a facial mist.
The product I'm going to use is Stylbar's First Spray Serum.
To extract benefits from this product,
I would recommend you shake it well to mix all those ingredients.
The reason I use a facial spray to blend the makeup, not a setting spray,
is to keep hydration on my face.
I've been enjoying this product for like three weeks,
and I could say this is such a great all-in-one product.
It can be a mist, serum, and even makeup setting spray but more hydrating version.
There are two layers in the product.
The bottom layer is serum layer.
It hydrates your skin with white truffle and is antioxidant effect.
Top layer is a layer that consists of avocado oil,
which replenish your skin with moisture and add a luminous glow.
Something I like about the layer of oil is that it enables moisture to remain on your face.
To make sure that the products I'm going to use after are blending well
without getting sticky and patchy,
I'm going to put some powder on the area I feel I need.
It would be outer face, around my nose, and so on.
For blush, I would like to do a watercolor blush look.
I found that using a powder blush is better to achieve more natural and blended look.
There are two different types of powder blush.
Bake one and just normal powder blush.
A bake one is a pressed powder of the normal powder blush
so that the pigments does not easily come out with a fluffy powder blush.
To apply this product, I'm going to use a sponge.
Place the sponge onto the product and try to apply evenly.
After coating the blush on the side of the sponge,
I'm going to gently dab that onto my cheek.
If too much of the blush pigment comes out,
you can alternatively use the other side of the sponge to blend it further.
I'm connecting to whole cheek and you can see that healthy flush cheek look.
To keep the attention on my glow face, I would not use an overbearing of eyeshadow
but a simple basic light to medium pink brown shade all over my lids.
To add a little bit of depth on my eyes, I'm going to use a deeper shade.
Next, I'm going to tightline with a brown gel eyeliner.
I'm not going to draw any winged eyeliners for more a natural look.
For mascara, I'm going to use the product that helps me achieve a long lash look.
This product contains fiber which looks like a fake eyelash hair
so it allows your lashes to appear as extended.
Instead of doing intense contour or bronzer,
I'm going to apply a natural contour powder just to add that dimension on my face.
Instead of using an angle shape contour brush,
I'm going to use a medium size powder blush to apply a contour powder.
I'm going to fill in my brows with mid-tone ash brown shade.
Choosing the right highlighter shade is crucial for a natural glowy makeup.
If you have a light or light to medium skin like me,
it is better to look for a light ivory shade or light pink shade.
At this stage, I chose the light ivory shade to match with my skin tone and get a more natural look.
If you put highlighter on your entire face, you will look like a disco ball.
Choosing the right place for your highlighter is key for a natural glowy look
so I'm applying it along the top of my cheekbones, a bit on my nose, forehead, cupid bow, and chin.
For today's look, I'm going to use a liquid lipstick with glow finish.
The shade I chose is muted pink shade which would perfectly match with the whole look.
This product has a mild plumping effect so you can add more volume on your lips.
I'm going to apply all over my lips.
And please do not forget the corner of your lips for more finished look.
So this is my natural glowy makeup look.
I hope you enjoyed.
You might think that, oh, she should draw more eyeliners or put more of a blush.
I think doing a natural makeup is all about less is more.
I love this look since it is not overly glow, just adequate.
Thank you so much for watching.
I will see you in the next one.
Bye!
