Hi, this is Josh with ResortTV1. Today we're taking you on a tour of Mouse Gear at Epcot.
We hope you enjoy the video. And outside Mouse Gear they have these great display windows.
And of course you see the gears that are moving and some of the merchandise and a lot of displays
of mouse hands and all kinds of great stuff. They even have mouse ears rotating on a turntable there.
And all of these items from the turntable to the gears all contribute to the futuristic
look of this store. And some of you may remember that this store used to be called Centorium,
which included merchandise from all of Epcot's original pavilions.
And there you can see a display window of retro Walt Disney World logo merchandise,
which is really neat to see. And now we'll take a look at some of the merchandise in the front of
the store. There you can see some merchandise with a white motif, almost like kitchen stuff.
And of course they've got a candy section off to the left right when you enter.
But you can also see some huge gears behind the cash registers there on the back wall.
And it's a really neat display. And of course the Mouse Gear's motif is very obvious.
And you can even see Donald Duck and Goofy there silhouetted on the gears themselves.
And there's Mickey way over there on the far gear. And here you can see some cups that have a locally
grown logo with Mickey Mouse on them. As well as some merchandise with that same orange and red
bright motif that looks like it is kitchen wares or housewares type merchandise. And it's really
bright and fun to look at. And here's some wedding merchandise. You can see some champagne
glasses, some mugs, as well as picture frames. Even some Mickey and Minnie Bride and Groom
merchandise there. And here you can see a wide assortment of different mugs on the wall
in this display. And it's just really a wide assortment. You can even see Baymax there,
which I think is a really cool mug. Very simple with his eyes there, but really neat design.
You can see some salt and pepper grinders, as well as other kitchen items, wine glasses,
champagne glasses, all kinds of great stuff. Dish towels it looks like, even figment over there,
and Lumiere. Here's some more different glasses, even some shot glasses there,
as well as a silverware set. Who knew you could have a Disney silverware set?
And here's more kitchen merchandise. Some potholders, as well as other dish towels,
and even some aprons. And I love this shirt, Vacation Mode. It's where I like to be.
And there's a great retro bag, Vacation Kingdom of the World, as well as a retro shirt there.
And here you can see some more of the gears, as well as a Baymax stuffed animal. Seems a little
pricey at two for forty, but it's still a really neat stuffed animal. Here's a closer look at Goofy
and the gear there. And of course this was all added when it was changed from Centurion to Mouse
Gear. And here's some t-shirts, the ever popular I'll Be Your Mickey shirt. And I love this shirt
with Walt and Mickey superimposed on Main Street USA in front of Cinderella Castle. Of course the
original version of that picture had Walt standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland,
because he never got to see Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World, unfortunately.
There you can see another view of the gears. And you can see Anger from Inside Out, as well as some
other great shirts. And here's a great t-shirt featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who Disney
reacquired from Universal by trading broadcaster Al Michaels to get Oswald back, because Walt
Disney had originally created Oswald before he created Mickey. So that was kind of a neat
little trivia there for you, that Al Michaels was actually traded to get Oswald back.
And here's some great baseball hats, as well as some Mickey ties. And Mickey appears very subtly
on these ties, so they could still be considered fairly dressy, which is nice. And here's some
retro Walt Disney World shirts with a Walt Disney World pendant and an older version of Mickey Mouse,
which looks really good. And a sweatshirt of the same thing. And there you can see more of the gear
motif on some of the displays here, as well as a great Tiki Room shirt. And here you can see some
And the churros and ice cream shirt is great. Disney knows what the guests like, that's for
sure. And here's a really pretty shirt featuring icons from all four of the theme parks. And you
can see more of the Mouse Gear gear and technology motif that decorates the store. And here's some of
the famous Mickey mugs, as well as the many counterparts. I use one on my nightstand to
collect change. Does anyone else use a similar mug for a similar purpose? There's a Donald version.
I think my wife would say I live in Fantasyland, but I'm happy there. And again, everything seems
to be connected by gears, which is really neat. Here's some great looking mini ears.
And the jewelry area, as well as a checkout desk. And you can even see silhouettes of some of the
characters up there above the merchandise. And here's some more retro sweatshirts with the old
D logo with the Mickey inside, which are really nice to see.
And I love these beach towels with Mickey sitting in front of Cinderella Castle in front of the
Seven Seas Lagoon. That's really nice. And here's some really cool mini backpacks, as well as a mini
suitcase. And there's a whole section of backpacks, bags, purses, all kinds of stuff. Here's a little
closer look at some of the handbags. There's even a patriotic one, which looks really nice.
And here's a great selection of hard and soft shelled suitcases. And I do apologize that I
didn't include prices for all of the merchandise, because it is hard to film and grab tags and
things like that. But some of the merchandise is labeled outside the display, so that's nice.
And here's some phone cases and a wide assortment of characters and haunted mansions, small world,
castle. There's even some Star Wars and Up phone cases. There's Steamboat Willie down there,
which is cool. And here's some cases for tablets, PDAs, those types of things, even cell phone cases.
Some of them even looking like R2-D2, which is nice. And here's another style of handbags
and accessories. And here's some of those mouse ears that were displayed in the front display,
where the ears light up. And here's the magic band section, and you can get charms for your
magic band, as well as different kinds of magic bands from Star Wars and all the different
characters. And in this front section of the store, it's kind of a round area, and you can see some
hats and different types of headwear here. I love the Sorcerer Mickey hat, but we'll look at that
in just a second. Here's a wide assortment of Minnie ears, sparkly and not. And some Pluto
and Goofy hats. And there's those Sorcerer Mickey hats I was talking about. And you gotta love the
Figment hats too, Figment being one of my favorite characters. And here's some great Mickey ears,
even some Oswald ears up there. Winnie the Pooh ears, Alien from Toy Story, Stitch, all kinds of
stuff. And here's the outside of that room, one of the entrances to Mouse Gear, and you can see
that it is round even from the outside. Here's some neck pillows you can take with you on the
plane, or even in the car. And some great silhouettes of the characters, things that you
can miss very easily if you're not looking carefully. And here's a look at some nice
women's apparel, looks like sleepwear. I love the All Day Everyday shirt, that's nice. And here's
some important things all in a list, Mickey Mouse, Turkey Legs, Monorail, Churros, and Space Mountain.
Those are all very important things. Here's another look at the gears behind the checkout
counter and some of the t-shirt displays. Mornings should start at noon, I kind of agree with that.
There's some Mickey shorts or boxers there, which is kind of cool. Grumpy doesn't do mornings, I'm
not surprised by that. And there's Anger, you woke me up for this. These are some really nice looking
polos in the men's section. They've got some with the Nike logo on them as well as some without.
Here's some Jungle River or Jungle Cruise socks, which are really neat. Very colorful for socks.
And even some Tiki Room looking parrot socks. And the Yeti. And here's some footwear.
Of course I have to take a look at the figment display here. I'm glad they have a whole display
for figment. They have the pillow pets over there on the right, as well as this great figment t-shirt.
And the purple is a little bit bright, but it fits really well with figment.
And here's a look at some figment hats, as well as a figment plush stuffed animals, and this figment
hoodie, which is a little expensive at $64.99, but it's still pretty cool to look at. And here's the
Dream Binders Dream Catcher from the original Journey Into Imagination. And this is something
that would be really easy to miss if you didn't look up when you're in the store. But here it is
displayed proudly in mouse gear. And here's another display of women's apparel. Here's another look at
some figment merchandise. And looking back up to the Dream Finders Dream Catcher. I love the
Sorcerer Mickey towels. Those are really nice. And here's some great socks. You've got to love the
monorail socks up there, as well as the Mickey and Minnie and Alice in Wonderland, Chip and Dale,
Cheshire Cat, all kinds of great stuff. Here's the Finding Nemo merchandise section. You've got
Scuttle. And this is my favorite section though, the Retro Epcot section. You've got the Epcot
Center shirts, which are all really nice. They've had some great shirts over the years. This isn't
the best that they've ever had, but I'm hoping that they come out with some great stuff for the
35th anniversary in October. So we'll be updating this video as they come out with new Epcot Center
or 35th anniversary merchandise. I love the Epcot 82 logos, as well as the Epcot with some of the
logos from the countries and all kinds of different things.
There's a great Epcot Center sweatshirt for $42.99 there. And even some Epcot Center bags.
There's the Epcot World Showcase logo. And even some pens that would go along with that.
And they've got the World Showcase passport collection, which is nice. And some coins.
There's another look at the Dream Catcher. I can't resist taking another look at it,
because I do miss the original Journey into Imagination ride so much. Leave a comment if
you miss the original Journey into Imagination ride. I'm sure a lot of you do. And here's
another display of Sorcerer Mickey merchandise, all together in one location. And here's another
entrance to Mouse Gear, which heads out towards Test Track and Mission Space and what used to be
Universe of Energy. And here's a map of the entire store. It's a very large store, but
when it was Centorium, it used to have a second floor and be even larger.
But there you can see what type of merchandise is included in each area.
And you can still see some of the old CommuniCore design with these circular patterns in the ceiling
and the windows in the back. But of course, it's been changed quite a bit when they made it Mouse
Gear. But I'm glad they didn't completely remove the old open concept and beautiful CommuniCore
architecture. You can see the gears again from another angle. And they've got all kinds of
trinkets and magnets and all kinds of fun stuff that is fairly cheap. And you've got some pins
here as well as some other theme park merchandise, some of the collectibles that you can get inside
the little bags there. And now we're in the final room of Mouse Gear. And this section has a princess
section, as well as a Star Wars section and some other things. So it's mostly a kid's area, but
it's got a lot of fun toys and merchandise that feature all the Disney characters. There you can
see Anna and Elsa dolls and even some dresses. And they've got lots of different sizes for all the
young girls in the Disney fan kingdom. And there you've got some great models of the castles.
And here's more princess merchandise. And they've even got a big selection of
fun riding utensils, even one with Olaf on its head.
They've got a whole display of Stitch merchandise there. Here's some Guardians of the Galaxy stuff.
And another look at some retro Walt Disney World sweatshirts. And they even have a big selection
of jelly beans that you can buy and some other candy. There's some apparel for young girls.
And here's some little boy apparel on the back wall there. Some Mickey Mouse backpacks and a lot
fun stuff. Plus the Snow White dresses. I love the Mickey Mouse t-shirt there. Little flip flops and
tank tops and all kinds of fun stuff. And here's some Mickey Mouse toys. I love the Mickey Mouse
ring stacker there. It's a lot of fun. My son has a ring stacker, but it doesn't have Mickey on it,
so should have bought that one. And here's some kid's shoes. And more character kid toys. I love
baby Goofy. That's really cute. And baby Mickey. And some sleepers. And actually my son Liam had
that future Prince Charming onesie there, so that was a lot of fun. And here's some Stitch merchandise.
And of course you have to have some Mickey stuffed animals. Those are important to have in every
store. And you've got some figment stuffed animals and even the pillow pets again with the Stitch
pillow pets. And Duffy the Disney bear. And you've got some more pillow pets. And this is a different
kind of Pooh. I'm not sure the head is just a little bit different than what I'm used to, but
it's still pretty neat. And there's a wide selection of stuffed animals on the back wall.
Looks like the pricing is two for forty dollars. There's a Space Cadet Mickey as well as Black and
White Mickey, which is really creative. There's another look at the stuffed animals on the back
wall. They've even got Baymax and Pumbaa and all kinds of different characters. They've even got
gigantic Mickeys and Minnies there. And I couldn't find price tags on those because I was curious to
see how much they cost, but couldn't find a price tag on the larger Mickey and Minnie plush toys.
I love the aliens. That claw is our master. There's Cruz Ramirez from the New Cars movie.
And here's some great merchandise that has been around for a while, but I'm glad they keep it
around. The Spaceship Earth model as well as the monorail set, parking lot tram, Cinderella castle,
all kinds of stuff. You can build your own Disney World in your basement or wherever you have room.
That's more Baymax toys. And in this last room here, they have this kind of wand or hand that
spins around the room at different times and makes a kind of a ticking sound, which is kind of fun.
You've got the star on the other end of the wand there. There's another look at that center column
that connects to the wand. And there's some merchandise at the foot of it, of course.
Disney board games, Connect Four, Monopoly, Life, Candyland, all kinds of great stuff.
And some great Disney puzzles, some of them based on Thomas Kinkade paintings.
And around the top border of this particular room, there's some great views of the characters,
Donald and Goofy, Mickey and Minnie. They kind of look futuristic along the top wall there.
And here's the Star Wars section, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean.
They've even got a looking glass there, which is fun. And I love the R2-D2 and Darth Vader mugs,
as well as this Stormtrooper shirt with a pew pew pew on it. There's a Chewbacca hoodie,
as well as some posters for the Rogue One movie up at the top. There's Rey from The Force Awakens.
And here's some Star Wars hats and Mickey ears, even a C-3PO Mickey ears, which is fun.
I think that's a lightsaber umbrella, which is really cool.
And there's Yoda, one of my favorite Star Wars characters. And, of course, R2-D2. And some great
kids shirts. Even a little R2-D2 dress, which is really fun. And BB-8. Well, that's about it from
