Enjoy a full tour of Disney's Beach Club Resort at Walt Disney World in 4K UHD with narration. This is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World, and it has a lot to offer. This video took a long time to put together, but it was really fun to make! I hope you enjoy it! Leave a comment, and let me know what you think!
Hi, this is Josh with ResortTV1. Today we're touring Disney's Beach Club Resort.
We hope you enjoy the video. That long bridge right there actually leads to the bus loading area,
which is right there behind the bushes. Even though there are no buses there right now,
that's where the buses load for this particular resort. And this is at the far end of the parking
lot. And this is the car and pedestrian bridge from the parking lot to the main entrance to
the resort. It's a really beautiful area with water on both sides of the bridge,
as well as fountains. And then you can see the beautiful weeping willow tree here as well.
And across the water here you can see the Beach Club Villas section of the resort, which is an
aqua or a kind of a turquoise color as opposed to the light blue color of the main part of the
resort. This is the other side of the pedestrian bridge you can see that leads towards the bus
area from the resort. So this is actually a little bit shorter way for pedestrians to get
from the resort to the bus loading area without having to go over the
pedestrian and car bridge, which does tend to get kind of crowded at times. And now we're moving
down towards the main entrance to the resort. It's a really large kind of imposing building,
and it's very beautiful. The resort itself is themed after eastern seaboard type resorts
that may have been around at places like Atlantic City or Coney Island or places like that. In fact,
it's close to the turn of the century. And there you can see the teal color again of the Disney
Vacation Club Villas at Beach Club Resort. You can see there's a little bit of construction
going on here right next to where they actually store the luggage. And there you can see the
place where the cars come in and are unloaded by the bell services and people enter the resort.
And as you can see, we've got great weather for this tour today, so hopefully the colors will
really pop out as we tour this amazing resort. And this is one of the walkways leading up to
the main entrance. And here we go into the main entrance of the resort and into the main lobby.
This is a really amazing lobby. It's very large inside, the ceilings are high,
the decorations are very ornate, and it's just a really enjoyable and beautiful place to visit.
You can see the large chandelier there overlooking the central entry of the lobby here.
And as we pan down towards the carpet, you can see that the carpet itself is even very ornate
and very beautiful to look at. And this area right here where this carpet is actually plays
host to a chocolate carousel during the Christmas and holiday season, which is really amazing if you
get the chance to come to the resort during the holidays. And there you can see one of several
sitting areas within this main lobby area. You can also see that there are two floors here.
You can actually get to some of the rooms right off the main lobby. And most of this resort is
one building. There are actually different buildings for the vacation club villas, but
most of the resort is one building. And I really enjoy the architecture here.
Just the beams and the ceiling and everything else. It just makes for a really
beautiful and relaxing place to sit and wait or just relax the afternoon away.
Here's another really nice sitting area with, again, the very ornate carpet that you'd expect
in a deluxe resort such as this. And here's the check-in desk. And you can see a stairway here,
which, like I said before, actually leads up to some of the rooms, as well as, I think,
some convention and meeting rooms. I'm not exactly sure where those are, but I do know that this hotel
does play host to conventions, so there are some spaces for that here. This is Cape May Cafe, which
is a great seafood buffet type restaurant. And you can see the menu here. I believe that menu
does change at some points. And around the Cape May Cafe, there are actually these long, very ornate,
and very beautiful hallways. But let's look inside the restaurant first. It's not serving at this
point, but you can still see the inside of it. There's the buffet itself. And it's all open,
so you can all see it from these hallways that run around the perimeter of the restaurant. You
can see some of the tables and a lot of beach-themed decorations, but from around the turn
of the century. And around the perimeter of the Cape May Cafe, there are all these pastel-colored
beach-type umbrellas that really add to the ambiance and the decor of the restaurant itself.
And there's another look at one of the seating areas. There are more of these umbrellas that I
was talking about. And here's another long hallway, again, that wraps around the perimeter of the
restaurant. So it's really very neat the way that it's laid out. It's a pretty large restaurant,
actually. And the food's really good if you get the chance to go. And around these perimeter
hallways, there are all these windows with these beautiful views of Stormalong Bay, which we'll
view later. Stormalong Bay is actually the water park. It's kind of a mini water park, actually,
that is here at the Disney's Beach Club Resort. And there's a sign that tells you that the entrance
to Cape May Cafe is actually right around the front of the restaurant, which we just were
visiting. There's a restroom. And then we head around the rest of the hallway here towards Martha's
Vineyard Lounge, which is basically just a bar. But it's very nice. It's not large, but it's got
kind of an intimate setting. A lot of dark wood, but still has the beach colors of the Beach Club
Resort. And there's Ariel's, which is actually mostly open for private events. And I believe
there was a private event going on today as well. And now we're outside. We're going to go visit the
Beaches and Cream restaurant. This is one of my favorite restaurants at any Disney hotel, just
because I like ice cream and hamburgers. And that's basically what they have here, is ice cream and
hamburgers. But the hamburgers are really, really good. So if you haven't been to Beaches and Cream,
you should definitely check it out. However, reservations are recommended because, as you'll
see here in just a minute, this is a very small restaurant. So there aren't a lot of seats.
So if you don't get a reservation, you may be waiting for a long time. But here's the inside
of this restaurant. Again, it's kind of like an old-fashioned soda shop. And even the servers'
uniforms are very suggestive of an old-fashioned soda shop, as well as the decor.
And the pastel color is fit with the Beach Club theme very nicely.
And there's even an old-fashioned jukebox, which actually works. And it's a lot of fun to use.
Now we're going to check out the Lafferty Place Arcade. This is a really large arcade. There are
a lot of different machines here. A lot of them newer games. But it's still nice to see such a
large selection of arcade machines. I know as a kid, I spent a decent amount of time in arcades
and always enjoyed video games. And it's great that they have these at Disney. Of course, when
I am at Disney, I'd rather be riding rides. But still, it's great that they have these for people
who've decided to spend a day at the resort. And they have the newer machines. But they also have
the Ms. Pac-Man machine right there at the end of the room there, which is really nice to see.
And you'll also see the color change there to that beige color. It's actually the beginning of
the Yacht Club Resort. So they're adjoining the Yacht and Beach Club Resort. And I'm actually
going to do the Yacht Club in a different video. And now we're looking at Stormalong Bay, which is
like a mini water park, which is here at the Beach Club and the Yacht Club Resort. And the neat thing
about Stormalong Bay is that there are many different... it's like one pool, but there are
many different canals in the pool and different alcoves and things. There are even bridges over
the water. And one of the neat things that a lot of people don't know, if you haven't actually swam
in this pool, is that the floor of the pool is actually sand, which is kind of unique.
And you can actually see the pirate ship there in the distance, which actually hosts a water slide.
So that's something you want to check out if you come to this pool.
But again, you can see back towards the Yacht Club there that the beige-ish gray color
this pool stretches between both of the resorts. And again, it's just really large and it's really
nice. So it's something definitely worth checking out. But you can only get in if you're staying at
the resort and they do check magic bands at the entrance. So they don't allow non-resort guests
to come in and check out the pool. So I'm just filming right now from the other side of the fence.
So one last look at the pool here. And again, it's just a beautiful place. You can see the
staircase that goes to the bridge, which actually leads over to different parts of the pool
across some of the canals in the pool. And now we're back inside the main lobby.
And you can see more of the different sitting areas. And again, everything very ornate like
you'd expect at a deluxe resort like this. This is the Bell Services desk, which is basically on
the opposite side of the lobby from the main check-in desk. Now we're going to head towards
the marketplace, which is actually a shop and a place to get something to eat. So first we'll
look at the shop. And you can see there's stairs leading down into the main area of the shop.
But there is a place to get strollers and wheelchairs in on the other side where there's
a ramp. So that makes it a little bit easier. There's some great merchandise here. Some of it
resort specific. Some of it has Vacation Club logos on it since there is a Vacation Club resort here.
And some of it's the same merchandise that you'll find in other places around Walt Disney World.
And there you can see one of the cast registers with the Beach Club poster there. It's really nice.
A place to pick up packages. And this is the second part of the marketplace, which is basically just
a place to get something to eat as well as some merchandise over here. And it's kind of a quick
service. Not quite a food court because there's only really one main place to get food. But
it is a place to get something quick if you're not in the mood to do
Cape May or maybe even if Cape May or Beaches and Cream are either not open or too busy.
There's some great mugs as well as kitchen paraphernalia there. And this is the quick
service restaurant part of the marketplace. You can see some of the food there. It's basically
just what you'd expect. Fast food type stuff. Sandwiches, things like that. You can see where
you can get some beverages in the refrigerators there as well as soft drinks. Now we're going to
take a look at the Solarium. The Solarium is a very beautiful area with a lot of windows, which
is basically what a Solarium is. It's a place to get sunlight. And there's some beautiful paintings
here that depict the theme of the Beach Club resort. Seaside type retreats, lighthouses,
things like that. And here's another really nice painting. This one of the Beach Club resort
itself. And at the end of the really long hallway is the Solarium lounge itself, which is very
beautiful. Again, lots of windows to let plenty of sunlight in. The windows look out onto the
courtyard next to the Beach Club Villa's Vacation Club Resort, which we'll check out in just a minute.
And the nice thing about these sitting areas is they're rarely very crowded. So it's a nice place
to sit and just relax if you don't want to be in your room or maybe your room's not ready yet.
And they even have a nice TV there for movie events. I imagine that they could
host or even parties or private events, whatever you'd want to do. And as we exit the Solarium here
we'll head towards the Beach Club Villas, which again is a Vacation Club part of the resort.
The main color for the Beach Club resort is a light blue, but this area is more of a turquoise
or a teal color and that signifies the difference. And there's Ariel welcoming you to Disney's
Vacation Club. Really nice bronze type statue of her. And we'll go inside and check out the Vacation
Club Villas part of it. As we get into the main room of the Vacation Club Lobby here, you'll see
a large chandelier as well as a very high ceiling. There are several different hallways branching off
from this main room. We're only going to check out this one room over here called the Breezeway.
It's a really large high-ceilinged room with a lot of amazing decorations. And it's one of
these rooms you walk into and just say, wow. It just kind of catches your attention right away.
That painting over on the wall is beautiful and we'll take a look at that here in just a minute.
But this area over here reminded me actually of Muppet Babies, if you can remember that, where
they had the kind of windowsill seat there. So obviously this is a lot larger, but it did remind
me of that. This is a really great painting. Looks like the Beach Club Resort there.
There's a little balcony from the second floor, which is a nice addition.
And now we're back outside heading back towards the Beach Club part of the resort,
the Non-Vacation Club part. You can see a little entryway to the Solarium, which looks almost like
a gazebo except for it's attached to the building. There's a sign to tell you where the
transportation, Stormalong Bay, and all those kind of things are from here. A lot of tables that
you can use to eat your food that you got in the marketplace or just sit and relax and enjoy a
beautiful Florida day. This is the hallway on the left side of the marketplace store and there are
a lot of really neat decorative windows showing different types of merchandise and things like
that. So we'll take a look at these windows here for just a little bit. You can see a lot of Mickey
Mouse themed merchandise as you'd expect but also a lot of seaside resort type merchandise as well or
decorations. A lot of it's not for sale but it's just decorations based on
the seaside and as well as the Disney theme as you'd expect.
And there's the side entrance to the marketplace which I mentioned earlier that is accessible to
wheelchairs as well as strollers. And some tables where you can eat your food that you got at the
marketplace restaurant there. Some Disney themed luggage in that window.
And again lots of seaside resort type decoration in a lot of these windows. Even some frozen
merchandise slipped in there. This is just a look at one of the hallways that leads back to the
rooms just so you can see what the carpet looks like. And now we're outside. This is the back
of the main lobby. So when you come out of the main lobby you come out here
and this is actually coming out towards the water which leads over to the boardwalk resort which
we'll look at here in just a minute. And what I really like about this area is of course the
landscaping. It's so beautiful and expertly maintained and manicured. Of course the flower
and garden festival at Epcot just finished but this is a great example of expert landscaping
that Disney does so well. And there you can see at the end of the sidewalk the boardwalk resort
which we'll look at there here in just a minute. As well as the storm along bay pool which is just
behind this exit area to the main lobby. And here's a nice green area. A lot of grass and
places where kids like to play as well as this volleyball court here. The building is so grand.
The rooms stretch out in several different wings and it's just a very impressive building to look
at. I love the architecture. This is the walkway that leads to Epcot. Of course Epcot is one of
two parks you can get to from the Beach Club by walking. The other one is Hollywood Studios but
it is kind of a long walk. They also have these boats that take you both to Epcot and to Hollywood
Studios as well as to the other resorts that are on this lagoon here. And here you can see the beach
and a nice little swing that you can sit on and enjoy the beautiful weather.
And you can also see this net-like fence here as well as the warning sign that warns people to stay
out of the water because of alligators and snakes. And of course there was the tragedy
where the little boy was killed by the Grand Floridian by an alligator. So Disney's taking
precautions to stop that from ever happening again. And across the water you can see the
beautiful boardwalk resort as well as the Dolphin and Swan hotels. And a lighthouse where you can
rent some boats and also get the boats that go to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. That's where they
launch from. And there you can see the shipwreck which actually is where the entrance to the
water slide that goes all the way down to Stormalong Bay is. You can see the tube actually
which is the beginning of the water slide that leads all the way down to the main Stormalong Bay
pool. It's a really nice long water slide and actually the tube itself goes over one of the
sidewalks which is pretty neat. And here you can see the view of the back entrance to the main lobby.
We just came out this door a few minutes ago but it's beautiful from the back as well.
And looking onto the gardens that we just toured. So that's it from Beach Club Resort today. We hope
you've enjoyed the video. Please remember to leave a comment and subscribe if you haven't
already done so. Have a great big beautiful tomorrow. Buh-bye!
