my sick 29th birthday weekend! seasons 52, meat market, hyde park, family time + more!

Hi guys, welcome to my birthday vlog. I'm getting ready and I didn't start the video out like what else actually like putting on my foundation and stuff because as you can hear I'm a little bit of a cold. I actually feel a lot better than I sound it's just my voice so took a mid-afternoon nap. We're rocking and rolling. Yeah it's mainly just mucus now like I don't know what's going on but I think I just picked something up at work but this is my birthday weekend and it's gonna be exciting. It's not really like a milestone birthday it's just I'm turning 29 so or as they say 25 uh and yeah so tonight we are going to season 52. It's gonna be kind of repeat of last year honestly because last year was pretty good um it's actually raining just like last year. I only do like this bronzer stuff like when it's like a big so tonight yeah we're going to season 52. Tomorrow my family is like hosting a little birthday party for me. We always try to do like a family get together every month and this month it just happens to like fall near my birthday like the day before so they're throwing like a little birthday party for me which is like so sweet. I really wish I could have shared it with my cousin's girlfriend because we have the same birthday and hers is actually a milestone because she's turning 30 but I think she's busy or something so we're gonna just celebrate hers later and then on my real actual birthday um my parents and I are gonna go to Tampa to the meat market um for dinner. I ate there once with my friend for lunch and it was super good and I really want to try their filet so that's why I was like oh I really want to go to that restaurant for my birthday and yeah I took off work because I didn't want to like have to worry about working like on my birthday or the day after my birthday so um that is a game plan for my birthday. I am happy that I have like all during the day to like rest and do nothing and then have the events because like tomorrow's an evening event, tonight's an evening event so I just sound like I have a frog in my throat so it kind of sucks but other than that I like you know it is what it is at least it's not like a milestone birthday where like you know I'm going out of town or something it's not that bad but I still want to celebrate and I didn't really want to cancel anything because it is so hard to like get everybody's schedules and stuff so I'll suck it up and it'll be fine. I don't think I'm contagious like I don't have like a fever or anything so you'll probably see it in this video but I got myself presents because like I know what like I would want so um all my friends I kind of just say I want the Apple gift card because just in case you know last minute I'm like I want the new iPhone like I'll have some money to put towards that big purchase and then for myself I got a park crew neck sweatshirt thing and it was a Maddie and Maddie Maggie and Emma collab so it's like light blue and has like stripes and it says the park across it and I got that because it'll just replace my the bar sweatshirt because that one was kind of annoying me anyway so I just kind of like you know we're just gonna replace and then I got myself a stony clover micro little handbag it's like the cross body I hope it like lives up to the hype. I want to replace my belt bag essentially so I'm hoping that my vision is kind of you know what I'm thinking but who knows. My brows actually turned out like not too bad today which is good because I'm kind of just like rushing through this I just want to relax more before I have to like go and I'm gonna blow my nose plus also too I have to curl my hair. I'm trying to manifest that this rain is gonna go away because it is kind of killing the vibes here. Also too I'm gonna do like a whole little outfit but I absolutely love this dress I got it at Aritzia. I really liked it and to convince myself I'm like oh it'll be my birthday dinner dress because I didn't have anything to like wear or I didn't have any idea of what to wear so when I was like shopping with my friend I'm like I'm gonna get this and like all of my makeup products and what I use for my makeup I made a whole video about what's in my makeup bag so I'll link that down below and you guys can like see the products and stuff it's not a lot as you can see. Also too I am making a TikTok. I'm like do I make a TikTok? I was like going back and forth and I'm like you know what screw it we're making a TikTok because it's fun and I think making TikToks are so fun like I don't I would never want that as like my career I'd rather do like obviously YouTube so that's why I put more emphasis on the YouTube but I don't know making TikToks is so much fun so why don't I do it? I'm actually gonna use this Bare Glow makeup on Mario lint plumping thing because it's like a little bit fancier occasion so I'm gonna use that but not right now I'm gonna wait till like the very last minute to film the after of my TikTok. Okay so this is the fit I love this dress I like I said got it at Aritzia and just the shoes that I always wear nothing special and then no necklace because this is like a high neck situation and then my normal bracelets so anyway we are gonna get on the road. I finally made it then Mari got me this really cute headband with a sash cute yeah cheers we got our flatbed as well cedar plank salmon yum I got my filet. Kyra you got the tartar? Thank you Jamie got the same thing as me. Yes. Mari what did you get? Thank you The next day. Okay so it's the next day and this is the fit I am still sick I am feeling better but still I'm like kind of still lethargic don't really want to do anything but we're going to my cousin's house there's like this weird flare in this anyway it'll flatten out um we're going to my cousin's house to like kind of still celebrate but also just have like a family get together which is fun uh we're bringing the dog and we're doing like a taco night which I'm really not hungry but it's fine and I think we're gonna do like cake and stuff Valerie's putting like a martini glass on my cake I'm so excited I'm waiting because I just kind of want to be surprised so anyway um that's what we're doing this vlog I swear I wish it was like gonna be better but it'll be fun because I'm gonna see family and stuff and hopefully like I'll get some good footage there but still I'm just like not feeling the best tell us what we're doing we are heading to Brock's to have a fun evening with them and it's also excuse me so we're gonna have Alex birthday party along with visiting with Brock and family and Piper's coming yeah okay I'm gonna visit Remy oh my goodness the kids are reunited yep okay I think that I can let Remy off Aziki will be down in a second um this is because I remodeled her apartment okay including this in the vlog but oh my goodness this is a family walk extended family walk yeah um she's very excited our evening stroll and Valerie came chips dips taco toppings alternative taco shells chicken vegetables Valerie's appetizer sour cream normal taco shells yum my cousin's gift to look at you too where's my do you like it help and apparently I want this I'm scared oh an electric can opener that's interesting don't you remember that's funny yeah it's kind of like that's funny thanks you said why can't we have an electric can opener like other people why do we have to keep using these manual ones you're going for that that is actually funny thanks you like Sarah and Bailey made it birthday girl again she got me these really cute balloons I was kind of surprised because I was like oh they're here and here's the balloons they're super cute so nice I'm allowed to look now want to go to starbucks do you want to go to starbucks and get a pop cup you want to go to starbucks and get a pop cup do you want a pop cup piper do you want a pop cup for mom's birthday yes let's go okay so this is my errand outfit I just want to throw something on because today I'm going to wash my hair probably in the afternoon but I just wanted to run go get my free starbucks drink because as you guys know you starbucks gives you a free drink so I'm going show you what I get every year it's the most expensive thing that I order probably so I'll show you guys and I'm also going to get piper a pop cup because I feel like that's the only like big treat treat that she can have because she has a sensitive stomach she loves her pop cups okay honestly I can't stand this thing this is coming off I feel bad I don't know what to do with it maybe I'll hang it like that's super random I don't know this is always in the way and I just want to like film without this thing so yeah we're saying goodbye to this even though I love having a little car charm it's just not gonna work so anyway I went with my usual venti iced coffee with almond milk because they don't have my order anymore because they got rid of toffee nut and I knew that at one time but I guess I forgot so this is my old order and I will show you guys this is my order and apparently the hazelnut is similar which I will have to try I didn't really know that at the time so I just went with my go-to order yeah I'm kind of sad it's okay though it's not a big deal piper got her pop cup and that's all that matters her first pop cup after her dental cleaning mom's help rotting your teeth but anyway um we're gonna go inside I'm gonna probably boil my eggs because honestly what better lunch than to have Alex's regular lunch on my birthday so I don't know I was thinking about the salad and turkey but that's not classic Alex so we're gonna go the classic Alex route today yeah so boil the eggs I'm gonna wash my hair it's 10 I'm gonna watch some youtube because that's what I love to do and then maybe some tiktok I'm watching Emily Nelson's like fall vlog so that's fun um sorry this vlog was kind of like honestly I love producing like really good content for like special occasions but this year I'm just like not feeling well so the vlog is giving meh because I'm meh so I'm sorry so now we're gonna do presents and I saved like the cards for my friends so I could like open something on my birthday more stuff um so first as you guys saw last night I got a can opener which is like funny it's kind of like a good gag gift but also productive and then um I got the pot of gold like a little treasure box thing with gift cards which is really nice all of these are pretty much probably gonna be the same thing because I asked for the same thing so it's gonna be an apple gift card but I'm just gonna like open the cards real quick I'm not gonna film this part because I'm probably not gonna read it out loud oh but I do I love that okay next we have this one I think this looks like Jamie's handwriting oh that's fun this one is from Kyra because it says Kyra of course Piper she's like it's not the attention's not on me so I'm gonna play with the toy I can't even like scream you're like a wine that's so funny it's so me oh that's cute I like that look at that design okay there's some really cute cards and then this is from you guys I don't think you got me this one before oh Valerie okay so now these are like the presents but I kind of purchased them myself because I don't know I know what I want so part of this is from my parents and then part of it is just to myself as well as if I get the new iPhone that's like a gift to myself from like all my friends because of the gift cards so and the apple store because I do like the buyback program you gotta work smarter not harder when it comes to that Piper thinks this is her birthday I did give her a pup cup this is cute I really hope it like is kind of how I want it to be I mean yeah I like I hope that it like can replace my belt bag because it is so darn cute oh my gosh it's so cute it's so like black and classy this is mommy's toy gosh honestly you're right I mean it looks like it can hold a lot it can probably hold as much maybe a little bit less than a belt bag but like I like it yeah and then this is the long strap so it could be cross-body it was actually on sale too that's why I got it what I did because I'm so excited for this too because I've been wanting one of these you guys already know what it is wow that is kind of big but it does shrink so that's why I got like the big one what is it oh my gosh how cute it's so cute and then when it shrinks it'll be like smaller because it shrinks like down a size so oh my god is that the manufacturer park it's like the brand that's what I mean yeah it's kind of like a basic bitch type of thing but I like it okay cute it's so cute too that's a pretty yeah it was like the Maggie it was a collab that they did with like that the company did with like some influencers so I don't know I like it a lot I like it too happy birthday thank you nothing says Alex's birthday than this Alex lunch all right so family and I are gonna do our outfits so I'm just wearing this black dress because I wanted to be comfortable shoes no these are definitely not but I didn't want anything like restricting because I'm still a little under the weather okay Valerie well I have my outfit I have a new shirt on I got a new shirt on that's my outfit got a gray jeans to match my new shirt I've lost weight I have yeah I know I haven't lost two months I've lost about seven eight pounds so anyway okay bye so for this evening I have selected a lovely coral shirt from Chico's along with the scarf that I received as a gift just to like dress it up a bit and I have on my black jeans and black shoes and black compression socks that match Alex yeah so I'm just gonna like film on my phone oh and here's Piper she's wearing her furry coat very genuine Pomsky she has on the husky look today she's decided the husky look is for her very much so did you eat your dinner okay Valerie thoughts yes oh it's great I love it I can't wait Valerie's like I don't know where you would decide to eat there's a lot of choices here so we're early because it's like raining so we're just to do like a happy hour cheers happy birthday we're like the first ones here it's fine though oh yay just got seated Valerie Valerie looks perplexed is it good well Valerie says the bread is really good so we got the bread look at how cute the salt is I don't know that is so cute all right so we got our filet mignon our sides and then Sherry got what did you get ribeye ribeye and crispy brussels sprouts look at Sherry's cute coffee oh it's so cute thank you wow look at how big these plates are with the sorbet look at Sherry's look at these I love these plates couldn't come to Tampa without going to downtown dogs and we got Piper something so I'll show you guys when we give it to her it's so cute okay yeah sure it's so cute dinner was so good and now we're just kind of walking around I had to show Valerie that store because she loved it so they're opening the doors over there to meat market Valerie what'd you say they must have some really good mosquito protection ah did you get a toy you got a toy she got a toy Piper do you like your toy it's a skeleton dinosaur show the camera Piper see did she like it it's a skeleton dinosaur from Valerie look at that wow
