Okay, I'm like hyperventilating because I just found so many amazing shoes.
Hey guys, what is up? It is Sarah with Thrifty Bitch. I'm back. Life's been crazy. I am a nomad
this month. Like I don't have an apartment. My lease ended end of June and then our dream
apartment was not available until July 1st. I've been living at my in-laws for the first half of
this month and then I'm going to my parents next week and then I'm going to New York City. I'm all
over. Your girl is a traveler. She's nomadic this month, but I did have a free afternoon
and amidst all the chaos of moving and traveling, I had to come back to my happy place, which is
Savers. So I really shouldn't be buying a lot because holy hell, when I moved, I had so much
stuff. It really made me think about just how many clothing items I have. So I'm really going
to be thoughtful here, but shopping is my therapy, let's be real. So we're going to go to Savers.
This is my favorite one. It's a glorious day. I'm just going to look, you know, just to like feel
something, feel alive. I thought I'd bring you guys along for an old-fashioned trip to Savers
and let's just see what we can find. Enough talking, more shopping. Let's go.
Okay, so I just got here and a true diva dropped off some stuff right before I came because I found
these really amazing blouses. The first is this Ralph Lauren one. How fun is that? Look at the
horses. Oh my god, it's so fabulous. There's like even little, oh my god, there's like little brushes
and combs. So that's going in the cart. I'm not sure about this one. I'm going to try it on, but
I found this really cool, it's like sort of like a embroidered button-down. So I'm going to try that
on. I'm not sure about this. I'm either going to love this or hate it, but it's 100% silk and it's
got shoulder pads and gaudy designs, like all the things I like. So definitely going in the cart just
for now. And then this is really the piece de la resistance of what I just found. It's an Evan
Picon blouse. I don't know if you can tell, but such a beautiful pattern on it and it's 100% silk.
So going in the cart and let's go check out the dresses. I just popped over into the robe section
and oh my god, guys, I'm overwhelmed. There's so much great stuff. So let's just start with this
piece that I found. It's this little vintage nightgown that's going in the cart. I also found this
other really amazing robe. There's no tie on it, sadly, but we might be able to make this work. So
I'm going to throw it in the cart and then there's just tons of little tiny nightgowns. They're kind
of all jumbled together, so let me pull them apart so you can see what they look like. There's this
maroon beauty. This little, I don't know if this is, this is not called a slip. You guys have told
me a million times it's called something else. I call them slips. This little white nightgown
and this little sexy black number. This is maybe my favorite thing in this section,
which is this beautiful robe. Oh my gosh, can you guys see the pattern on that?
So beautiful. This adorable vintage nightgown. It's almost floor length and you can tell it's
well-loved, worn in, but gorgeous. The nightgowns just don't stop. There's this absolutely stunning
piece, definitely vintage. Look at that. An actual pajama set. You never find this. It's Valerie
Stevens. It's this gorgeous, almost like purple gray color. I will definitely wear this, so this
is coming home. And then these two nightgowns as well. This peach number and this white one.
Guys, I'm overwhelmed. This is amazing. Okay, I'm going to go through the blazer section.
I really do have my eye on a tweed blazer, so I'm just going to see if I can find any
tweed specific ones, but I do love blazers just generally. So
we're just going to take a little peek in the blazer section.
The tweed blazer. That's super cute. It is polyester, so I'm probably going to leave it
behind, but close. Closer. This is kind of the vibe I'm going for, but it just doesn't feel like
super high quality, so I'm also going to leave this one here. No joke, I actually think I own
this already. Hmm. Oh, yep. Union made. I might pick this up for my Etsy shop though, because I
get a lot of compliments on it. Maybe someone else would want it. So it's in the cart for now.
Oh my god, that is so cool. Look at this bolero. Oh my gosh, and look at the sleeves on there.
Okay, that color combo and the cropped, that's, that's done. In the cart. So we did not find
a perfect tweed blazer, but we did find that amazing bolero, and then kind of the Christmasy
looking wool union made blazer. So let's pop over to dresses real quick. We are having a great day.
Oh, wait, quick pit stop in cardigans. Let's see if there's anything in here.
Oh, this is cute. I just found a set. These go together. So it's like this little
cardigan top with a matching shirt under it. That's adorable. That's going to probably go
to my Etsy shop. I've gotten my cardigan fix. Let's go check out dresses now. Oh,
apparently this is light jackets too. Since wedding season is upon us, I stopped in the
more formal wear section and look at this amazing vintage wedding dress I found. It's got this
little empire waist with the bow. It's like scooped in the back with another little bow,
and then this really long train. It's sort of like high-low, like the front like stops the
ground and the back is like a full-on train. Little pearls. Oh my gosh, I can just see some
fabulous 60s bride wearing that. I really hope someone picks that up. I got married last year.
I need to stop buying vintage wedding dresses, but love them. I have two more formal dresses
that I wanted to show. So this one is a Jessica McClintock one. I'm guessing it was like circa
early 2000s. It's got this like ruching that goes up your butt. It's like this dramatic.
Guys, I've watched this like five times and I can't stop laughing. This is so funny.
The kid was fine. I just thought this was so funny. Okay, I'm sorry. I will go back to our
regularly scheduled content. Not my size, but really pretty. The other thing I found actually
is my size, and I don't know how to feel about it. It's this just like absolutely stunning beaded
dress. Like the whole thing is just beaded. I don't know if this would really flatter my shape
or if this is the right color for me, but I do think it is a really beautiful dress. Probably
just not for me, but wanted to show that real quick. I am in the pants aisle and I did find
one pair of pants. I'm curious to see what you guys think. It's a pair of wool trousers from
Jones New York Fatiques. They're like very preppy. Like they've got like this cuff on it. I think
this would hit right about like ankle length, but it's like kind of a high-waisted wool trouser. So
really great basic. Ever since I moved to New England, I've definitely gotten more preppy. Like
I'm embracing that very preppy look. So bringing those home and we'll see how they fit. I can't try
them on here unfortunately, but if they don't fit me, I'll sell them to someone who'll love them.
Popped into the jeans section and I actually found three pairs of jeans, which like never happens.
We'll see if they actually fit when I bring them home, but the first one I found
is actually a pair of Banana Republic jeans, but I think they're vintage, if you can believe that.
Says that they are made in the USA and I've never seen a Banana Republic label that looks
like this. Anyway, it's just um like a standard like straight leg pair of jeans. It has one rip
in it, but I kind of like how worn in they are. Like the bottom's like perfectly worn in, so
I don't know. I think that these could actually be like a really good comfy go-to pair of jeans.
I'm going to bring these home and then the other two pairs that I found are both I believe Bill
Blass. I really love Bill Blass denim if you're ever looking for a great vintage brand. So
one is like this super retro pair of Bill Blass jeans. I don't know if you can see like the
buckle on there. It's just like super, super cute. I think those are super high rise,
kind of a tapered shape. And then the other pair of jeans I found I think is also Bill Blass,
so let me confirm here. Oh no, the other pair of jeans I found is called Authentic Stanley Morgan
Garment, also made in the USA. These just look to be like a really cute like super wide leg pair
of jeans. I think these might actually fit me too. It says they're size like 9 or 10, but the waist
on this looks incredibly small. Let's do the old neck check. Oh yeah, these are gonna fit my waist
for sure. Oh my gosh, I love when the buttons are so substantial, so this is definitely coming home
too. Shoes are such a hit or miss at the thrift store, but I just get such a rush out of finding
actually really great quality shoes that are like 12 bucks. Nothing beats it. Oh my god,
I wish these were my size. Look at these. If these were my size, I'd snap that up, but they're not.
Oh my god. These are so cute. I don't think those are gonna fit me, but let me try these on and
just see. Yeah, they don't fit. I figured as such. Anyone that knows me knows I'm specifically
obsessed with the brand Ralph Lauren, and I also really love pony hair, so somehow I ended up
finding a pair of pony hair Ralph Lauren mules in like almost pristine condition that are in my size
and they're under $10. I mean, and the heels are intact. Like they don't even look like they've
ever been worn, but I tried them on and they fit. It's like pony hair giraffe, I guess. This is pony
hair giraffe, but like isn't that so fantastic? Like this is hands down the best find of the day,
like amazing, but as if that wasn't good enough, I was like, okay, there's one pair of great shoes,
there must be more in here somewhere. I found these really amazing 100% leather made in Italy
black pumps that are like so sexy, so stunning. They've got like a tiny bit of wear on the bottom,
but like the actual outside of the pump looks in perfect condition and I tried them on,
they're actually like really comfy, shockingly, like I could walk in them. So again, these are
under $10. I think those have to come home with me, like those are so amazing. I also found this
really amazing pair of flats that I just thought was like kind of similar to like that jelly
sandal jelly slide kind of trend that's happening. I don't know, I've seen a lot of people wearing
similar shoes, like ones you can pick up for like $10 in Chinatown, so I might grab these, they fit,
they're beautiful, the beading on them is stunning. And then the last awesome pair of actual shoes I
found was this pair of Via Spiga pumps, also made in Italy, like they've got blue
bottoms, how cool is that? They're suede and they look awesome and I'm such a sucker for a square toe
pump, so we'll probably be bringing these home as well because they fit, you know if the shoe fits.
Last thing, I found this perfect condition pair of UGG slippers, they're like sheepskin and 13 bucks.
They still have the original price tag on them, which is kind of crazy, I don't think that they've
ever been worn. So they're originally $70 from Nordstrom Rack, but yeah, like I love UGG and
UGG for $13 at the thrift store, can't beat that. Gosh, I just love when I actually find really
great vintage shoes. I think that's about as good as it's gonna get in the shoe aisle, so
now let's go check out the handbags. Lord knows I do not need another handbag,
but I love a new handbag, let's just see what we can find.
Okay, I did find this little tiny pouch, I'm probably not gonna bring it home, but
adorable. This is really cute too, it's a little bit worn in, but adorable.
Oh my, I found this Esprit fanny pack that's like sparkly, that's pretty fabulous and it's four
dollars. Ah, we'll put it in the cart, that's kind of cute. All right, you know what, this is a good
thing that we didn't find a lot because I have so many handbags, so that's the end of our handbag
search. My cart is overflowing, so I think we have approached the time in our trip where we're gonna
try some things on. So I'm gonna try to find a mirror and show you guys what I found. To make
this process a little bit easier, I hung up everything that was in my cart, so we're just
gonna start in on the robes and the pjs and I will show you what that looks like. I was so excited
about this robe. You can basically see this thing was supposed to be royal blue and now it's kind
of faded to this like gray color, but I kind of like it, I don't know. I think it's really beautiful,
I don't know, that's a maybe. That's super fun, feels like something that you would truly find
in a vintage shop. Oh my gosh, this is so cute, what a sweet little robe. There's little tiny flowers
on it. It's definitely vintage, but I just, I'm a sucker for like a little tiny nightdress.
That's so cute. Okay, so now it's time to show these three dreamy nightgowns that I found.
I'm gonna hang them up so you can see what they look like. So here's the first one.
I just think this is so freaking adorable. Again, perfect little like Sunday dress, we're just
hanging out around the house. This peach colored one, I'm so obsessed with it. It just has a minor
rip on the back, which if I were going to buy this just for myself, I probably wouldn't care
about that. But as you can see by the boob situation, this is way too big for me, so this
would have to go in my Etsy shop. And I just don't feel right selling something that's like, you know,
that thrash, so it's probably a no, but maybe. The last nightgown I have is just another adorable
little pink number. This one is perfection in my opinion, like it's a little sexy, it's a little
demure, it's still got the lace intact, like no stains. So this one will probably come home with
me, but just so stunning. I don't know if you can tell how beautiful that is, but really pretty.
I legitimately have so many blazers, but this one is so cool. Look at this little detail.
I just love the little chain detail on the side. The only thing is just I am not super crazy about
the size of it, like it's not quite big or small enough in my opinion, but I don't know, it's a
So this will probably stay here, but I don't know, I do really like it. Okay, I definitely do not need
this right now because it's June, almost July, but this is really pretty. It's 100% wool. I kind of
think I own this already, but if I didn't, I would definitely bring this home with me.
Just super cute. I love the fit and shape of this one, like if the first one I tried on fit
more like this, I'd bring it home. I like where it hits. If I could just combine those two,
that'd be awesome, but just wanted to show this because it's awesome and 100% wool,
and we love a wool blazer. Oh my gosh, wait till you guys see this. This is crazy. This is by far
one of the more interesting pieces I've ever found. It is definitely some kind of like polyester
blend, which I don't love, but such an interesting shape. It's a true bolero, so I don't know if I
would actually wear this. I really love the color combo. I would not wear it with like a shirt like
this where there's like, you know, like a gap. I'm gonna have to wear like a slip dress or something
where there's like no cutting off of the body, but really interesting. Okay, this doesn't fit me,
but I just want you to use your imagination here. So there is a matching shirt that goes
under this. I just think this is so cute, like I love a set, and the shape of this is adorable.
I love this. So this is one of the silk blouses that I picked up. I love the collar detail.
We love 100% silk. I love the pattern on it. I actually think this is a really good color on me,
which I didn't think it would be. It's almost like a, like a mustardy yellow. The one issue is like
this button is kind of loose, but you know, we can make that work. I don't know if you'd even
notice that if it was buttoned up. Looks kind of crazy because I got, again, like a high-waisted
pair of pants and a belt underneath that's kind of poking out, but I think that's pretty cute.
And it has shoulder pads, which we love. I'm so excited. I just tried on the Ralph Lauren
button-up shirt or button-down, whatever you call this, and it fits perfectly. Let me show you real
quick. This is definitely petite because it like fits me perfectly. It's so funny. There's like,
I mean, I'm not a horse person, but there's like a pick thing. There's a brush. I know what that is.
I have no idea what this situation is. This looks insidious, whatever that is, but
there's a comb. But yeah, I just think this shirt is so quirky and funny, and it's Ralph Lauren, so,
or I'm sorry, Ralph Warren, so probably going to bring that home because that's
awesome and hilarious. Okay, let me show you the two other things in my cart that are not
apparel related. I found this paperweight. I think it's a puffin.
I just thought it was kind of cool. I don't know if I'm going to actually bring this
home, but very neat nonetheless. Isn't she gorgeous? And then my sister-in-law just got
engaged, so I thought I might grab her this little jewelry dish holder. I thought that'd
be perfect for holding an engagement ring in. And then jewelry-wise, I grabbed
this pair of silver earrings. I thought that was so fun. I got this choker.
And then these are actually two separate necklaces, so I'm going to try them on and see how I feel.
I did just on a whim grab this espree fanny pack. I don't think this is going to come home with me,
but kind of neat. Oh my god, I almost forgot to show you my shoes. So these are the Ralph Lauren
pumps. They're like stuck together, so I can only try on one at a time. I think they fit. I wish I
could walk in them, but so gorgeous. They are kind of starting to fall apart, which kind of makes me
nervous, but I'm kind of willing to make it work for like a gorgeous pair of pony hair shoes, so
that's a maybe. I don't know. I don't love that the inside of that is falling apart.
Oh, that's such a bummer. And then let me show you these Viaspiga pumps. Free toes!
Okay, so these are the Viaspiga pumps. Super chunky. Let me zoom in on those bad boys.
Super fun for like Christmas time or something. I do like it. They're pretty fun. I just, I don't
love the bow detail, but everything else I do really like. Okay, and here's my last pair of
shoes. I think these pumps are actually going to come home with me. These are the Italian made
leather ones. They are surprisingly kind of comfortable, which I never thought I would say,
but like I can actually walk in these, which is crazy. Let me zoom in on them. Oh yeah, that is
just a, just a sexy pair of shoes. That is so cute. I love them. Okay, so real quick, this is the haul.
We ended up just getting one pair of jeans. I'm leaving the Bill Blass ones because I think they're
just like a little too tapered and not quite the shape I want, but I'm getting the like super
straight leg, like almost bell-bottomy ones. I grabbed the wool trousers. I'm not sure if these
are going to fit, but they're like four bucks, so whatever. Grabbed these chunky earrings. I got the
amazing pumps that look way better on than just like sitting here. Absolutely stunning. I'm getting
the Ralph Lauren shirt. I picked up this little jewelry dish to give to my sister-in-law, and then
I don't know, I'm debating on this puff, and it's chipped a little bit, but it's nothing crazy, but I
do love an obscure paperweight. I think I might leave this too. So anyway, that's the haul. Okay, we're
back in the car. I had such a fun time at Savers. I did not get a ton. After touching every single
thing in my apartment that I owned last month and packing it up, I'm being very thoughtful about what
I bring home, so I'm really happy with just grabbing like the one great pair of jeans, one great pair
of wool trousers. I did get a wacky shirt with that Ralph Lauren top, and I think like these shoes
are just like so stunning. Like I cannot wait to wear these somewhere fabulous, but yeah, like I
think this was actually a bunch of like really great staple pieces that I will wear a lot, so
I felt great about that. I have to run because we are actually going to Maine to go surprise my
husband's sister because she just got engaged today, but I did pick up this little dish for
her that I thought would be like a perfect little, you know, like ring holder or whatever. So anyway,
gotta run, but anyway, thank you guys so much for watching. I love making these videos, and the more
you guys like and share and subscribe, it helps me so much. So if you do like this video, I'd be
so appreciative if you could like it. If you want to see more, please subscribe,
and as always, I hope you guys keep it cool, keep it thrifty, keep it bitchy. Bye guys!
Yeah, they don't fit. I figured as such.
