Hey friends, welcome to today's video.
We are in the middle of September, I cannot believe it.
Like fall is here.
So this is my first official fall inspired makeup tutorial.
I wanted to create a look
that I felt was very, very wearable
and incorporated some warm earthy neutrals,
which remind me of fall.
So not only am I addressing the colors for fall,
but we're also talking about skin
and kind of how your skin shifts during the fall season
and what types of products and foundation
and complexion products to go with.
I'm also trying a couple of new products in today's video.
So I had fun filming it.
I hope you have fun watching it.
Let's get started.
Okay, so let's go ahead and get started.
I'm excited because I have some new products
to try in today's video.
I just picked this up a few days ago from Natasha Denona.
These are like a liquid bronzer.
I'm not sure when these launched,
but I know it's one of their newer releases.
It's a high sculpt liquid bronzer.
So I'm gonna be trying this today.
Also, I picked up one of the new Ilia blushes,
the powder blushes in the shade Breathless,
which I thought looked really pretty.
So yeah, we're gonna be testing
and trying a couple of new products.
And then I'm also playing with some old favorites.
So let's get started.
Okay, so for the foundation,
I'm gonna go in with Dior Backstage.
I wanna call this the face and body
because it reminds me of MAC's face and body makeup,
but this is the Dior Backstage.
I love this foundation.
I like to actually use it as a mixing medium sometimes
with like fuller coverage foundation.
So if I'm using a foundation that's very full coverage,
very matte, and I wanted to dilute it down
and make it a little more skin-like, I will use this one.
Today, I'm just gonna wear it by itself though.
It is so beautiful.
I am wearing the shade 2W0 or 2W0, I'm not sure.
And it's such a great match.
I used this a few weeks ago,
maybe a month or so in a video,
and I just was reminded of how incredible this foundation is.
If you really like a light, natural skin-like look,
this is great, you guys.
Okay, let's go ahead and get started.
I'm using a 101 brush.
And this, by the way, is from our Holy Grail trio.
So if you're noticing like it looks a little different
than our normal brushes,
it's because it's kind of that special edition brush.
And I'm just gonna bounce this in the center of the face.
So when it comes to fall makeup,
you know, depending on where you live,
the climate is shifting a lot, right?
We are still really hot in Texas.
We're not gonna really cool off
until probably October, hopefully.
But it's still very, very warm in September.
But I know in other parts of the country,
it starts to really cool off.
And with the change in season and climate,
our skin changes, right?
And the cooler, more drier temperatures
can often bring drier skin.
So I like to use foundations
that are gonna give a little bit of life back to the skin.
And this is definitely one of them.
In terms of the finish of this foundation,
I would say it is in between a skin-like
and a radiant finish.
It's also gonna depend a lot too on your skin type,
what type of skin you're applying it on top of,
and also your skin prep, right?
If you use more mattifying primers
or products that are gonna control shine,
then you're gonna have a more matte finish.
If you use a lot of dewy primers
or glowy, you know, skincare underneath,
you're gonna have a more radiant finish.
But overall, I think that this really leans
in between a skin-like and a radiant finish.
It's very beautiful and it's very lightweight.
And I could not find a better match, you guys.
This color is just perfect.
This is so beautiful.
Very, very natural looking.
The coverage is buildable,
so you can get very light coverage from this,
but you can also build it up
and get about a medium coverage.
You're not gonna get a full coverage from this foundation,
but I've said this before,
and I truly believe this.
Most of us don't need full coverage.
I believe in getting a foundation
that gives you the least amount of coverage
that you need, right?
So don't overdo it on the coverage
because that's when you can really just age the skin,
magnify texture, and it's just not as flattering.
It's almost better having no makeup on
than having too much makeup on, in my opinion.
Now, you can see in the forehead,
it's a little bit more glowy.
That's because I have a big key light hitting my face.
So the light is reflecting off of that
and making it more glowy.
So this definitely looks more radiant
than this would look outside in the daytime
because, again, I have this big light
and you're seeing that reflection.
It's really, really, really nice foundation, you guys.
I like this one a lot.
If you haven't tried this one
and you're looking for a very skin-like natural foundation,
this is one I would definitely pick up and try.
Okay, so before we go into concealer,
I'm going to put a little something
on my lips to hydrate them.
This also leads me into introducing today's sponsor,
which is Citi Beauty.
Citi Beauty has a bundle promotion going on
where you can save an additional 15% off the bundle price,
which is already discounted.
And the bundle that I wanted to share with you guys
is this lip bundle.
So we're going to be using all three of these lip products
in today's video.
We're going to get to the liner and the gloss
at the end of the video when all the makeup is done,
but I'm going to go in first with the Plumping Oil.
I've talked about this product for years, you guys.
This is such an incredible lip treatment.
It's very lightweight.
It adds so much hydration to the lips.
You can actually layer this
for a little bit more color if you want,
but it's pretty transparent.
So it's a great treatment to do
like before you are doing your makeup
and you just want to hydrate your lips
so that by the time you get to them,
you're like, oh my God, it feels so good.
It truly feels incredible.
You can use this at night as a treatment
or you can just use it
as you're getting ready to start your makeup.
And again, just kind of prepping the lips.
So by the time I get to the lips at the end of this video,
they're going to be hydrated.
They're going to be plumped, just giving you more volume.
So in this bundle, you get the Plumping Lip Oil
in the shade Pink Champagne,
which is what I applied right now.
It looks more like a gold kind of pinky shade.
It really, for me, what I find is it just like
enhances my natural lip color.
It's really beautiful.
You also get the Defining Lip Pencil in the shade Willow,
which is a really beautiful, warm nude.
It pairs really well with the Plumping Lip Gloss
in the shade Nude.
This is an opaque, warm nude lip gloss plumping.
One of my favorite lip plumpers.
I love the City Lips lip plumpers.
They are so good.
But just so you know, the bundle is a $96 value.
The bundle price typically is $81,
but you get an additional 15% off.
So you get all three products for just over $68
with that additional 15% saving.
So this was the bundle I picked.
They do have other bundles that are on sale.
So I'm gonna have more information in the description box.
Be sure to check that out.
You do wanna use my code, LisaJ, to activate the discount.
So again, everything will be down in the description box.
I'm gonna let this lip plumping oil treat my lips,
hydrate my lips.
I'm gonna go ahead and move on to the rest of my makeup.
Okay, let's add some concealer.
I'm gonna be using the Armani Illuminist Silk Concealer.
I have two shades in here
and I always forget which ones I use.
Sometimes I use them both at different times.
Okay, so this is the shade 4.75.
And this is pretty darn light.
I think that's gonna be way too light for today,
but let's see what this one is.
This is 5.25 and this actually looks really good.
This has a little bit more peach tone to it.
And I still think that this is gonna add
enough brightness underneath the eyes.
So I'm gonna kind of mix this.
So if I'm being honest,
I think it's time to replace this one.
Okay, let's go ahead and apply this underneath the eye.
I always like to start here in the little inner corner.
I'm really noticing, you know,
I've always had darkness underneath my eyes
as many of us do, right?
I've always, and I definitely noticed
now that I'm getting older,
like it's getting darker
and it's getting more hollow underneath there.
I would love to know any treatments that you guys have had
or that you are aware of that help with that.
I've looked into a few and I haven't done anything yet
because the options that I have found,
I don't know, there's just, there's pros and cons,
I think, with anything like that.
And I'm just a little nervous to do anything quite yet.
So for me right now, makeup is enough.
But if you have any treatments that you've done,
that you recommend, drop a comment down below
and tell us if you're comfortable with sharing what it was
and, you know, your results, if you were happy with it.
Okay, so I'm just tapping this
and I'm using the BK Beauty 110 brush.
And I'm just tapping this in.
The 110 brush is a really great brush.
Whenever you're using like a full coverage,
heavier concealer, which this one is not, by the way.
So the 110 is a great concealer brush
if you are someone that doesn't have a lot of time.
It is really large.
Look at how big this is for a concealer brush.
I really wanted this to be for those of you
that love to use sponges to blend out your concealer.
This was the brush alternative to that.
It's gonna give you that same blend
without absorbing all your product.
Perfect, okay, there we go.
So the skin is dewy.
I do feel like I wanna set everything.
I'm gonna go in with this Gucci pressed powder.
This is not a new product.
I have kind of fished this out of my collection.
I'm getting ready to move, you guys, in a couple of months.
So over the weekend,
I was looking at all my makeup collection at home
and I'm like, okay, it's time for me
to go through this, declutter, start packing some of it up.
I came across this and I was like, I wanna use this.
I bought this a while back
and I quite honestly forgot what I thought about it.
I don't think I was super impressed with it
because obviously I used it a couple of times
and I never really used it again.
But we're gonna go in.
Look at the pretty little Gucci logo embossed in there.
Do you see that?
So, so pretty.
Okay, I'm gonna go in with the BKBD 104 brush
and I'm just gonna tap this on the forehead.
I'm remembering now,
I don't think I was impressed with this powder.
Yeah, we're not gonna, we're gonna move on.
This is not the powder for me today.
I'm gonna go in and I'm gonna use the YSL loose powder.
This is the All Hours Hyper Blur Powder
and I have the shade 02.
This one's a really beautiful blurring powder.
So we're gonna use the same brush.
I'm gonna pick up a lot of products but tap it all off.
I don't want a ton of powder and there we go.
Yes, this is much better.
This is what a setting powder should look like.
It just softly mattifies.
You can still see some of the radiant
and the glow coming through.
It's very natural finish.
It also blurs texture.
So if you have large pores,
it'll really soften the appearance of those.
I don't want it to put too much powder on the face.
I just want enough to kind of set everything
because this foundation does have a wet feeling to it,
like a wet finish.
And I wanna kind of dry it down a little bit.
Okay, and then I am gonna take the BK Beauty 108 brush
and I'm gonna go back into this powder
and we're gonna apply this underneath the eyes
with this brush.
And I'm just gonna look up and press to set that concealer.
Perfect, okay.
Let's go ahead and do some brows.
I feel like my brows are disappearing every single day.
I look in the mirror and I'm like,
where are my brows going?
Okay, first we're gonna brush them up
and I'm using Makeup Forever Aqua Resist Brow Definer
in the shade of medium brown.
You guys, we have a very exciting launch
coming up with BK Beauty later this month.
I'm so excited.
I'm like literally like bursting with excitement.
I am actually headed out to LA tomorrow
to have a big photo shoot.
So very excited.
Today I'm filming, this is actually September 1st.
This is being filmed quite a bit in advance.
By the time this goes live,
it's already gonna be like mid-September.
I cannot wait, you guys.
I cannot wait to share with you what we've been up to.
I think you are going to love it.
So this shade is a little bit darker than I normally use.
It's interesting, like medium brown in some brands
is very different than medium brown in others.
Medium brown in Makeup Forever's pencils
is definitely darker than like say,
Anastasia Beverly Hills or even NYX.
I think NYX has a medium brown
and it's definitely more taupey than this.
I left my brow products at home.
I'm filming at the studio today
and I need to really update the brow products
that I have here at the studio
because everything I have here is either too dark
or it's not a product that I love.
I do like this pencil, but the shade is just not right.
I love this time of year
because we start to get some relief
from the heat here in Austin.
This week it's actually supposed to be,
I mean, it's still hot, you guys.
It's still very hot, but you know,
this week our highs are gonna be in the mid-90s
versus like it's been, you know,
above 100 every day for several weeks now.
So that is nice, I welcome that.
Then I'm gonna go in with the Sephora brow gel
and this is the shade taupe.
So hopefully this is gonna balance it out a little bit.
Normally when I do my brows,
my brow pencil is always a little darker
and my brow gel is always a little lighter.
And I kind of compare it to like getting highlights
in my hair, which I do have.
The brow gel adds that lightness to it.
And I'm gonna comb the brow hairs up a little bit.
I'm getting my brows done tomorrow.
I don't get my brows done very often.
The last time I had my brows done was in December
when I was in that Dancing with the Stars show.
And then last week I realized like,
I have a photo shoot next week,
I need to get my brows done.
It's been six months or longer.
I mean, gosh, it's been almost nine months
since I had my brows done.
They just don't grow very much.
So I never really feel the need to go get them done.
Okay, I'm gonna play with this product.
This is the NYX The Brow Glue.
It's been a while since I used this,
but I'm gonna use this just to get a little bit more hold
and kind of get a fluffy look at the bulk of the brow.
Just comb those up.
Perfect, okay.
You have to be careful with this product
not to apply too much because it does have this like,
kind of, I mean, it's transparent,
but you can see it in the brows.
If you ever feel like you over apply,
just take a clean spoolie.
So this is the one from the brow pencil I use.
And I'm just gonna go over and comb through one more time.
This is gonna remove any excess
and it's also going to like finely place the brow hairs
how I want them to look.
So I want them to look a little fluffy, perfect.
Okay, let's go in and warm the face up.
So I'm excited to try this.
This is the first time I've tested this product.
This is the Natasha Denona High Sculpt Liquid Bronzer.
I bought the shade, what shade did I, Bonfire,
which is a medium warm shade.
So it comes in a little pump.
I've got some, like that's what the color looks like.
Let me kind of swatch it for you.
It looks like it could be a really perfect match.
Actually, it's warm, not too cool, not too dark,
but deep enough for my tone.
And I'm gonna use, what am I gonna use to apply this?
I think I'm gonna use the 109.
Do I have a good, here's the 109.
I'm gonna use the BK Beauty 109 brush.
And I'm just gonna work it into this little swatch
that I did.
And actually, I liked that I swatched it
and spread that product.
I didn't just have a dollop of product
then go with my brush.
That's really gonna control how much product
you get onto your brush.
And I'm really gonna kind of pre-blend
and work it into the brush, okay?
Let's go to the face.
Ooh, ooh, this is good.
So the color is perfection.
This color is perfect.
It is warm without being too orange.
The formula is really, really consistent.
There's no patchiness.
I haven't even done that much blending
and it just looks perfect already.
This is really nice, you guys.
Has anyone tried this?
If you already have this product and you've tried it,
will you drop a comment
and let us know what you think of this?
Do you like it?
I mean, my first impression is I'm pretty impressed
with this product.
It is just blending so easily and it is so smooth.
It's smooth.
It almost actually looks a little like smoothing
and blurring.
I don't know if I'm just making that up,
but it looks very, very smooth.
And remember, I did apply powder on the skin.
So I'm applying this on top of powder,
which is always a little risky
because sometimes cream or liquid products,
when they are applied on top of powder,
they can really break up, but this is not doing that.
This is really smooth.
This is really nice, you guys.
I am a fan.
This is so good.
I'm gonna put a little bit on the side of my nose.
So I just did one pump on my hand
and then I worked it in and it's more than enough product.
You don't need more than a pump.
This is very nice.
I have to give it to Natasha Denona.
Their products are just so high quality.
They're just another level of performance.
They really, really are.
They are just another level of performance
when it comes to makeup.
So good.
I do wanna go in with a little bit of powder
because I'm feeling like I need a little bit more powder
and not on top of what I just applied,
but really underneath the eyes and the center of the face.
Now I'm cheating here, you guys.
I'm using the old formula of the Givenchy powder,
Prismalepro powder.
Yeah, that's what I need.
I need a little bit of that.
Using that Gucci powder really messed me up, to be honest.
I do not like that powder.
Yes, that's what I needed.
I needed to do that.
Let's go in and add a little color to the cheeks,
like a little bit of blush.
I picked up this powder blush from ILIA.
Pretty sure it's a new launch.
It was displayed on the display as if it were new.
This is the shade Breathless
and this is the soft focus blurring blush.
I love all of that.
I love a little soft focus action.
I love a little blurring action.
I'm gonna go with the BK Beauty 112.
I love this brush because it just is so light and airy.
It's not designed to pick up a ton of product
and apply a ton of product, which is perfect for blushes,
especially a brand new formula I've never tried.
I don't know if this is gonna be really pigmented.
I'm assuming not because it's ILIA
and ILIA is definitely more of a softer,
more natural line.
And I'm just gonna press this onto,
ooh, pressing the cheeks.
This is gorgeous.
Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful.
This kind of reminds me of the Say Beauty blushes
that they recently launched, their powder blushes
they launched, what, earlier this year or last year?
It very much reminds me of that.
Super smooth, a radiant finish,
but a very soft, radiant finish.
You don't see a lot of shimmer on the skin at all,
but you do see a glow.
And I love this color.
It's like a warm, neutral rose, very wearable.
And it's layering really well.
Like it's not too much color,
but it's definitely not like a light sheer product.
You get color.
So if you are a blush lover, you get what you want,
but it's very buildable and easy to work with.
Like not too much is going on,
but I am getting enough color
without having to go back and layer too much.
Okay, that looks so good.
Okay, we like this.
So, so far these two new face products,
the Natasha Denona liquid bronzer
and the Say Beauty powder blush are,
I think 10 out of 10.
I mean, I haven't worn them all day,
so I am a little premature with that judgment,
but they're both really impressive upon application.
So again, the shade I have in this is the shade bonfire
and the shade I have in this is the shade of breathless.
So I'm excited to pick up another shade of that.
Okay, let's go ahead and get into eye makeup.
I did bring a Danessa Myricks color fixed liquid.
It's like an eye shadow.
It can be used for so many things.
I use these mainly on the eyes.
I'm gonna use it as an eye primer today.
And this is a very light shade, nude two.
It's actually nude two.
So it's not even the lightest one,
but it's very, very light.
And I'm gonna go in with the N16 brush
and I'm just gonna work this product into the brush.
And again, really work the product into the brush.
So I'm not scooping up product and going to the eye.
I'm scooping a little bit
and then I'm really working it into the brush
and also removing any excess.
That's gonna give you a lot of control.
And to me, that's the difference
between a really beautiful application
to something that can get messy really easily.
It's gonna help you prevent over applying product.
And I just sweep this all over the lid
from the lashes to the brow.
Think of your hand as like an artist palette.
When you see artists paint, they have this palette
and they have all the paint on the palette
and they take their brush and they really work it
and mess it with a palette
and then they go into their canvas.
It's the same thing with makeup.
Perfect.
Oh, look at that.
Brightness that just evened everything out.
It concealed any darkness on the eyelid.
These are like waterproof, oil proof,
transfer proof, everything.
So when you put something like this
underneath your eyeshadow,
it's just gonna ensure that your shadow lasts all day long.
I don't care if you have oily eyelids.
This is like, you just can't get through this with oil.
It's so, so good.
So now that we've got that on,
the palette that I'm gonna be working today
is with this palette from Patrick Ta.
This is the Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette,
the volume one, the original.
It's got matte shades on the bottom
and it's got some shimmer shades on top.
And then it has these two cream like liners.
It usually has a little plastic case to protect those,
but mine came off.
So I'm gonna go in.
And the first thing I'm gonna do
is I'm gonna take this lighter shade.
We're gonna start underneath the brow.
And I actually wanna see how much shimmer this has.
This actually has more shimmer than I thought.
I was gonna say we're gonna sweep this all over the lid,
but we're not gonna do that
because it has a little bit too much shimmer for me.
Let's sweep this under the brow.
This is just a highlight under the brow.
I usually don't use shadow with shimmer underneath the brow,
but there's not a really soft light matte shade in here.
But the good thing is it's not too foiled.
It's a very soft shimmer.
All right, and then whatever's left on the brush,
I am just gonna run it on the lid.
Okay, next we're gonna go in
and we're gonna take this shade right here.
And I'm using the N13 brush from Nikkila Rose.
And I'm going to sweep this on the outer half of my lid.
I'm gonna sweep it in the corner.
And then I'm gonna work it kind of into the crease
and onto the lid.
So this is the start to my crease color,
but I'm also working this on the lid.
When I think of fall makeup,
I think of really like earthy tones.
I think of warm, earthy tones,
kind of similar to how the leaves change.
So we're gonna be doing a look that resembles that.
I'm really taking my time to really blend this out.
And again, this isn't necessarily the crease color.
It is in the crease,
but I'm also sweeping this
pretty much over the entire lid now.
I'm leaving the very inner corner bare,
but you definitely have this shade
on the outer half of the lid.
It's a beautiful, soft, neutral matte shade.
It's not too warm.
It's not too cool or gray.
It's just really neutral.
Perfect, okay.
Next, we're gonna go in and layer
and add a little more depth and a little more warmth.
So I'm gonna go in with this shade right here next to it,
this really beautiful, warm kind of saddle color.
And we're basically gonna run that
over the shadow we just applied,
but I'm gonna avoid the crease with this color.
I'm really gonna keep this on the outer half of the eye.
So this is really warming this look up.
If you have blue or green eyes,
this look is gonna really make
the blue or green in your eyes pop.
About this point, it's always good
to take your powder brush
that you used to powder under the eyes
and just run it underneath to sweep away
and remove any fallout that might occur.
Okay, we are getting there.
Look at that, so pretty.
I wanna intensify this even more.
So I'm gonna go in with the next shade,
which is even deeper, it's quite a big jump,
and there's a lot of warmth in here, a lot of red, okay?
I'm gonna go in with this,
and we're gonna add a little bit of this in the outer corner.
But I do wanna say, you guys,
it's really important to do this like bridge color.
If you notice, we're really like stair-stepping, right?
We started with the lightest, then went a little darker,
then went a little darker,
then went a little to the darkest, right?
If I were to just go from here to here,
I would get, would I get a similar look?
You would get a similar look,
but you would, the difference between
a really beautiful airbrushed,
like professional-looking makeup application
and something that just looks kind of messy and sloppy
is skipping these two steps.
You know, when there's too much contrast in the shadows
and you go from light to dark without bridging it,
you don't get a very seamless infused blend,
if that makes sense.
You get something that looks chalky,
you get something that looks messy,
you don't have a smooth of line.
So it's very important to take the extra time
to add these two colors,
even though I'm essentially taking this
and going on top of what I just applied,
it's important that it's there.
It's those little details.
Okay, so now I'm taking this darker shade
and I'm really being soft with it.
And I'm really just kind of lightly kissing the skin
and the eyelid with this.
I'm not putting a lot of pressure
because it's very rich and very pigmented.
And I just want the slightest bit of that.
Okay, so what I did is I applied it with this,
but I wanna stop blending with this
because I don't wanna apply more than this.
This is about as much as I want.
So next I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go
and I'm gonna grab a clean eyeshadow brush.
Do I have one of those?
That's funny.
Okay, I've got this 202.
This is pretty clean.
It doesn't have a dark shadow on it.
I'm gonna take this one
and I'm gonna take this to softly just diffuse the edges
of what I just applied.
So softly blend out what I just applied,
but I'm not adding any more color to it.
Oh, this is so pretty.
This is definitely like more makeup than I normally wear,
but when I do this, I am reminded of just how much
I love makeup and how fun it can be
when you just take the time to get creative
and go a little bit more glam.
Every day, I don't have the time to do this for my makeup,
but the days that I do, I always feel like,
oh, it's so pretty.
Okay, next we're gonna go in.
I'm gonna take this shade right here.
So this is on the top level with all these shimmers,
but this isn't as shimmery as these are, okay?
This is definitely more of like a satin matte shade
with a little bit of reflex particles to it.
And this is what I'm gonna apply
in the inner corner of the eye.
And I'm gonna go in with a 203 brush.
If you don't have this brush, everyone needs it, you guys.
This works on all eye shapes, all eye sizes.
It's a flat little shader brush.
This is basically like using your finger, but better.
So I'm gonna load up the side,
one side of that brush with this shadow,
and I'm gonna go right in and just kind of press it
in this inner corner area
where we didn't really apply shadow.
So press it and then kind of sweep the brush
to blend everything together at that edge.
So pretty.
Okay, we are getting there.
We look really good.
Okay, next one is I'm gonna take that 202 brush.
Remember, this is the brush that I use
just to like blend everything.
And I'm gonna go over everything with this brush.
I don't have any shadow on it.
I just have a clean brush.
Okay, next I wanna brighten this inner area.
So I'm gonna go back in and take this first shade
that we use under the brow,
and I'm gonna lightly tap it off.
I don't want it to be too white or too stark.
I'm just gonna go right in there
and just kind of highlight and lighten that inner corner.
You see what that just did?
That just like immediately illuminated
the inner corner of the eye.
It also opens up the eye.
Since most of the eye now has darker shadow on it,
I want a little bit of brightness right in here.
And then I think what I'm gonna do,
I'm gonna take that same bright shade.
I'm gonna take the 203 brush.
I'm gonna take the other side,
and I'm just gonna like softly layer that
right here in the inner corner.
And I'm gonna take that 202.
I know we're getting complicated here, you guys,
but this is the fun part of it.
Okay, there we go.
I think that's perfect.
Do you see how everything,
there's clear definition between this corner
and this corner, right?
It's dark and it's light,
but if you gradually move the eye
from one corner to the next,
everything just blends really, really beautifully.
Okay, I'm happy with the way the shadow looks.
Okay, it's time to go in with eyeliner.
For liner, I do want something dark enough
to really just enhance and define the lashes.
Since we're going with a little bit more glam look,
we call this for a little more glam liner.
I'm gonna go in with this shade from Loon & Aster.
It's called Dawn Till Dusk Gel Eyeliner.
That's the product name.
And the color is brown.
It's just a really deep chocolate brown.
You see that?
Very, very deep.
Very soft.
It's like a gel liner in a pencil form.
So it's very soft and creamy,
which gives you time to smoke it out
or smudge it out before it dries.
And as you know, whenever I do this trick,
like smudging out the liner,
I always do one eye at a time
because you don't want it to dry.
If it dries,
then you're gonna have a hard time moving it around.
So next I'm gonna go in with the BK Beauty 204 brush.
I'm gonna grab this shade right here.
This is the darkest eyeshadow.
We haven't used this one yet.
And we're gonna use this to just run over
that liner a little bit.
I want it to be the thickest
at the most outer corner of the eye.
And just to transition it a little more in,
I'm gonna just take whatever's left on the brush
and softly work it into the inner corner of the eye.
Perfect.
Okay, let's go do the other side.
If you are still here with me,
you guys drop a comment.
Drop a little like emoji or something and say hi.
I know my videos can run long.
So if you're still here,
I appreciate you so much for spending your time with me.
I mentioned this in one of my recent videos,
but you know, in creating content,
it's so easy to get like sucked into the,
you know, how do I change my content to get more views
and to get more subscribers and to, you know,
get more engagement and all of that.
But the trouble with that is that I find,
you find yourself like shifting your style
and shifting your approach all the time
to try and like match the algorithm.
And it's not only exhausting,
but it takes the fun out of it for me.
So I've just kind of given up all that.
And I'm like, you know what,
I'm just gonna sit here and I'm gonna hang out
and I'm gonna connect with the people that are here
that wanna connect.
And you know, that's my goal.
That's what matters to me.
So if you're one of those people and you're hearing that,
I really, really appreciate it.
Thank you for being here.
Okay, so what I love about this brush
is it's very small and very dense
and it's kind of hard to mess this up.
It's just the perfect size
to really smudge out or set eyeliner.
And that's what I'm doing.
I'm just taking the shadow
and I'm really just pressing
and going right over the liner.
Perfect.
Okay, we are there.
We are looking good.
I love it.
Okay, next you guys,
I'm gonna take this little bitty A504 brush.
It's a tiny, it looks like a tiny crease brush,
but it's actually pretty stiff.
And I'm gonna take this shade right here.
This is the shade we used.
It was the, what was it?
It was the third shade we used.
And I'm gonna just sweep this on my lower lash line.
I'm not gonna do a heavy eyeliner on the lower lash line,
but I do want some definition
and I want it to be really warm.
Again, to really pop the green in my eyes.
Okay, I am loving the eyes.
I'm loving the way everything is looking.
After I'm pretty much done and I'm ready for mascara,
I like to take the eyeshadow brush just one last time.
And again, this is like the clean one.
It doesn't have shadow on it.
And I'm just going to do one last little blend
to really, really soften that crease.
Really soften it.
Perfect.
Let's go in with mascara.
I'm gonna first curl the lashes.
This is the BK Beauty lash curler.
I'm gonna curl the lashes.
My lashes are in a good state right now.
Does everyone know that your lashes grow?
So every like six weeks or so, like 45 to 60 days,
your lashes are growing and shedding
and new lashes are coming through.
So that's why sometimes your lashes might be short and thin
and then other weeks they might be full.
That's why.
And I am in the fuller state, which I love.
Who doesn't love fuller lashes?
This is the Prada Scope mascara, by the way.
This mascara is a really dramatic volumizing mascara.
It gives a lot of volume and thickness.
It does lengthen, but I would definitely describe this more
as a volumizing, thickening mascara.
And it's pretty dramatic.
So I say that as in like,
if you want like a light looking eye look,
this is not the best mascara for that.
This is gonna give a heavier lash.
I mean, I guess it depends on how much you apply.
Like if I were to stop right here,
I think that would be, you know, definitely a lighter lash,
but I'm going in to really add some volume,
almost to the point where it gets like
just before it gets clumpy.
I want it to be really thick.
That's just the look I'm going for today.
It's not always the look I'm going for,
but today that is what we are going for.
Perfect.
Okay, go to the other side.
I think I need to replace this one too.
The wand is really unique.
On the bottom of the wand, it's pretty flat.
Let me show you.
So the bottom of the wand is flat.
Do you see that?
The teeth are just at the top.
If you used on the lower lashes,
just be careful not to over apply
because it is pretty heavy.
And I always like to keep the lower lashes lighter.
Oh, okay, so good.
Look at those lashes.
Oh my gosh.
Now it took some time to build it,
but if you want dramatic lashes,
I mean, this is such a good mascara.
Okay, so we're ready to finish off the lips.
And I do feel like the lip oil has done its job.
My lips feel so hydrated and smooth.
They don't feel as glossy as they did
when I initially applied it,
which tells me the treatment
has actually seeped into my lips and done its job.
This lip oil also treats the appearance
of fine lines and wrinkles.
So it gives a much smoother, fuller lip.
And I think we are definitely there.
Okay, I do want to blot this off though,
because I want to apply the lip pencil
on somewhat of a dry lip.
So I'm just going to gently
kind of press a little paper towel
to kind of absorb some of that.
But the lips look so smooth and so full.
Again, that was the plumping oil
in the shade Pink Champagne.
Next, we're going to go in and define the lips
with the defining liner in the shade Willow.
And again, this is a really beautiful, warm nude.
I'll swatch it for you so you can see.
Look how creamy that is.
I mean, it just is so creamy and so smooth.
This is going to help not only define the lips
and add shape,
but it's also going to prevent feathering on the lips.
This has vitamin E in it,
and it also has synthetic beeswax.
So those two products are hydrating.
They also smooth the appearance of fine lines
and give a really full look to the lips.
So I always like to start here
at the top of the cupid's bow
and just kind of go back and forth to create my line.
This just glides on so smooth.
It's not drying at all.
Typically, lip liners are more of a drier formula.
This is very creamy.
You could even fill in the entire lip
if you wanted to with this pencil,
if you have issues with your lip color stain,
or if you know you're not going to be able
to touch up throughout the day.
In fact, I think I'm going to do that.
I'm going to line the lips first.
And then once I have my shape down,
I'm going to go in and I'm going to fill in the corners of it.
So I pretty much have the entire lip filled in
except the center of the lip.
I'm just going to press together.
So pretty.
Next, I'm going to go in with City Lips,
and this is the shade Nude.
This is a warm nude, and it's very opaque,
meaning it's very, very fully pigmented.
You're going to get full coverage from this.
There's really no need to wear lipstick underneath it.
This product has immediate and long-term benefits.
It has hyaluronic acid spheres,
which are like super hydrators.
It also has jojoba oil in it.
It not only plumps the lips,
it adds a lot of hydration to the lips.
And I love how opaque it is.
I like to take the applicator
and just kind of softly trace the edge of the lip
if you really want a lot of volume to your lips.
Like I'm talking really,
you just had your lips done.
I like to take the tip of the applicator
and kind of go over the edge of the lip line.
If you want really full lips,
it also kind of lifts the lip.
As we age, the lips will kind of turn down a little bit,
and this little trick kind of lifts up the lip
and gives the illusion of a more turned-up lip.
So much shine.
So, so beautiful.
This lip is like that really beautiful,
warm, kind of milky nude.
It's so, so pretty.
And I think it pairs really well with the eye.
I think the eye is really the focus.
That's where most of what the eye is drawn to.
So you want the lips to compliment that, right?
You don't want the lips to compete.
Ooh, that looks so good.
