so now that I'm ready um I need to get
this laid out marked out so that I can
cut the hole in my countertop and get
this dropped
in all right this uh droping stove comes
with a template that you can use to get
this in the right position and Trace
around so you know where to cut
out
um so if I take my tape and I measure
here I've got inch and
5/8 and I know that the 2x4 that I'm up
against is an inch and a half so that's
3 and 1 E inch that's as close to the
front as I can go but uh to give myself
a little bit of uh fudge room I'll just
make that 3 and 1/2 Ines okay so that is
where I want to uh place
my template so let me go ahead and get
that marked
out all right I've got my uh my spot
marked out so now I guess I got to drill
a hole and cut it out hopefully I don't
ruin my
countertop not sure if you can see or
not but this is where I'm cutting this
out but to start I need to drill a hole
so I'm not going to go right up against
the edge because uh I don't want to mess
up and go outside so I'll put it about
right there

all right it uh chipped out pretty
bad right here I hope that the overhang
covers
that oh
yeah just covers it so all right I think
that's going to be
good all right so I've got this set in
here and uh looks good fits well it's
pretty much in line but uh before I can
hook up my
gas I need to swap out the
nozzles this particular stove supports
both Natural Gas
and
propane but by default it has it uses a
uh natural gas nozzle but it did send
two extra nozzles which are for propane
so what I need to do is swap these two
out it also comes with a tool that
removes
it okay I notice that they're not too
tight
they're snug but not too
tight there's no instructions so no
instructions no
videos
okay that should work
now before I set these back on
here I need
to flip this
over and get my uh regulator installed
and my
hose so the the regulator is going to
connect right here
and this
kit came with some tape but
uh I don't know if this is rated for gas
or not it's the gas tape that I've seen
is yellow so I don't know if this is
rated for gas or if it was put in the
kit by
mistake so so to be on the safe side I'm
going to use my
own tape I've got the yellow tape which
is for gas
okay
let's see what I've got
here okay I've
[Music]
got I don't think that's going to fit
that is not going to
fit all right well since this is the
wrong hose end right here it doesn't fit
into my bottom
there I'm going to have to swap this out
so I had a another hose custom made so
that it would fit so I've got to remove
this
one place it with the the new one

all right let's check for
leaks okay I'm not seeing any
leaks I think we're good to give this a
try all right so my front
burner Works uh exactly how I would
expect it to
work the back burner
however not quite as good
and uh by default these
come with uh nozzles for natural
gas and I swapped both of those out for
the nozzles that are supposed to be for
propane so I'm wondering if this one
already had a propane nozzle on it and I
swapped it for the natural gas one
so I'll off camera I'll swap those back
and see if that doesn't fix it but uh
the uh gas flow on this back one's not
quite
right but uh I think that's going to do
it for this video so we'll talk to you
guys later
