DC Wiring, Insulation and Nail Plates - DIY Off Grid Cabin Build Episode 52

all right I'm back at the cabin and what I want to do today is uh finish getting all the insulation in that way I can start working on the siding which will allow me to finish my electrical because I've done all the electrical I can do for insulating and getting the siding off so that's what I'm going to work on in this video so let's get to it all right before I can do the insulation I've got to put up a couple of nail plates all right I've got three of these 24 inch guys left over from the uh the ceiling so what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut them in half and then I can use those in these narrow ones here that are only about a foot wide I've got at least one in every corner this corner has two well it's not pretty but it's all going to be covered up and it'll insulate just as well whether it's pretty or not good Ness before I can finish doing the insulation on this wall I've got to get my uh my loft Joy stuff foreign I don't think there are any more obstacles to keep me from finishing up the insulation well I thought I had everything done on this wall so that I could finish it off with the insulation but uh there's always one more thing that needs to be done so Carmen Maria told me that I needed to put one more Outlet if I didn't I'd regret it so before I finish insulating this wall I'm going to add one more Outlet right here gee thanks Carmen there's my turkey friend that comes over every time I'm here turkey comes by I had to get some turkey feeding and see if I can't coax them over a little bit closer [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] come on all right let me straighten this out a little bit finally done with the AC wiring all right I've procrasted it in enough time to get back on insulation okay foreign all right I've got this back wall completely done with insulation I've got this wall completely done most of that wall I've just got that little corner piece and then I've got this section right here left and then a couple of uh small pieces here on the bottom so that's all I've got left so let me get to that and we'll finish up and then we'll go from there all right the insulation is finally done all the way around foreign [Applause] is next because I need to get my siding on before I can finish up the wiring because I've got to poke some of these things through from the inside so look for that in my next video and start working on the siding I'll probably do this back wall first because once that wall is done I can completely finish up all of the Interior AC wiring the DC wiring I can get done when this wall and this wall are sided then I can have 100 of everything wired and then this back wall that'll be last but anyway that's where I am so that's gonna do it for this video I'll talk to you guys later
