Neymar's Last Ever Game for Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain's pre-season form so far has been anything but stunning. They need one or two of their big names to fire and talking of big names, of course, there is one that just hangs over this entire pre-season. Kylian Mbappe currently touring Africa, certainly not involved. What more can you say about Neymar? They want consistency of performance from him in this campaign. Only 18 league starts last season. Field player, just 16 years of age. Sense of great national pride about him signing to be penalised for a foul there. Moonshion Min is everywhere so far, determined to impress. It's a straight ball through though. When you consider that Lionel Messi describes him as one of the best two coaches he's worked under, he's got something going for him. Now Neymar, and in a way his talent at times is tailor-made for games like this. Of course, he can be wonderfully effective in games, in league games and so on, but 18 clubs in this campaign. Move to Saudi Arabia. He's to steady himself, Ekotike was available but the ball never reached him. It'll be a PSG corner. A little short for Neymar but he's going to sweep it in himself here. Sher and Doerr really unimpressed Neymar. Here is Serif Naga. He's been tested, he wasn't really tested there. Neymar, once more. Together well with Verratti in that midfield. Sher and Doerr. Now Neymar, looking for a sight of goal but couldn't quite find one. Maybe can now, just a good fortune. Just a sense that they were moving into a different gear and Neymar obliges. Let's have another look here. See, there's the initial run. Couldn't force his way through but then found that bit more space and as I said, got a touch lucky here but probably earned that. When you consider all the angles involved, it's remarkable that it found a way past the goalkeeper. Big deflection, kissed the inside of the post and in. Haven't had too much goalmouth action but we might have another bit here with Ekotike. Good save that time. Fabulous spinning ball forward from Neymar. Of course, we're going to see multiple changes. Great ball from Verratti. Neymar again. Neymar, the Serif Naga. An entertaining half to an end. The only goal in it scored by Neymar thanks to a big deflection. Marie Saint-Germain will doubtless make changes and one of them will see the arrival, I'm sure, of Li Kang in which will be very, very popular. Neymar then. Neymar's goal is what separates the sides here. Heavily deflected inside of the post five minutes before half-time. I think that PSG, how much he'll play, I'm not so sure. A good opportunity for him. Obviously, something preordained here in terms of Verratti. Is he going to score enough? Is he a good enough finisher? Garby might be, but no. Oh, that was a big moment for him and he knows it. It all happens so quickly, but he progs it wide. Nice ovation there for Neymar. And for a corner. Still no Li Kang in. Centre of that midfield. Drilled deep by Neymar this time. But still great skill. Well off his knee, but look at this. This is going to be a huge roar soon because we're going to see Li Kang in for PSG. Here's Neymar. Fabian. Neymar. Once again, his radar is off. All around the stadium to acclaim Neymar. Just moments of brilliance, but moments have been enough today. His second, their second. Paris Saint-Germain heading for their second win of pre-season. The run timed to perfection. I like to see the angle here from the goalkeeper. Because he's backtracking, he leaves that gap. His angles weren't quite right. He made it a bit too easy there for Neymar. But you've still got to be good enough to take the chance. And Neymar, of course, most certainly was. Here's Fabian. Marco Asensio leaving everyone here with a moment to remember. What a hit that is. Sweet, sweet strike from Marco Asensio. And they hope for much more from him in this campaign. There's a taster from the new man from Real. Lovely control. Joyeung Jai, the referee brings things to a close. There was no goal for Lee Kang-in. But there were three for Paris Saint-Germain. Two of them for that man, Neymar. He took his chances. Well, bigger challenges to come, of course. But they do at least have a second win of their pre-season. And they'll be delighted with that. Two for Neymar, one for Asensio. Those two last goals late on in the game.
