I Built a MASSIVE PRIMITIVE FISH TRAP!

I can come in with a big rock or something to block it off and then boom, they're trapped in here. Look at that. Oh, he's trying to get out. Oh my god. He's like wedging himself into the rock. Look, look, look Oh, ow. Oh, dude, look at my finger. Oh my gosh What's up bfb nation welcome back to another awesome video guys today we have something absolutely insane We're gonna be making a giant fish trap in this canal, but we're not gonna be using any ordinary fish traps today We're gonna be making it ourselves now. Usually I don't do stuff like this. I don't make my own fish traps I'm gonna start doing that soon though But today we're gonna be doing a primitive style fish trap what that means is we're gonna be using stuff that we find here at The canal to make a fish trap i've done this one time before a long time ago So a lot of you didn't see that video today I want to step it up and make it a lot bigger this time What I did that time is I took rocks like these and I put them in the canal and I made like a circle In the middle I had a hole so fish can go inside Now how this is gonna work is i'm gonna do that same exact thing I'm gonna make a giant hole giant area for these fish and i'm gonna cover it because look at this canal brandon You see that? What's it lacking? It's lacking structure. These fish have no Right there, bro. You see that triangle Right there. We could like add a few rocks and then they could hide in there with the shade I just started that just now. That's a pretty good idea. Yeah, so yeah, this canal is really good There's a lot of fish in here like snakeheads peacocks bass. Oh, it's a lot but we just caught like a million of them. Yeah One thing is lacking is structure there's nowhere for these fish to go We're gonna build our own structure but disguise it and it's actually going to be a fish trap All right So brandon wants to do the primitive style fish trap over there where that triangle is made of the bricks I personally want to make a giant one over here. So we're gonna have a little competition actually this turned into a 1v1 So i'm gonna build my trap then brandon's gonna build his trap. We're gonna see who catches the most fish or the best fish Let's get started. I'm gonna start building mine. Now. Don't worry guys We're going to be putting all these rocks back when we're done. This is just temporary i've done this before Okay, see there's already rocks here. I might try to use these Covered here. Okay, dude, this is perfect. Look Boom, they already got it started for me. Here we go First rock being placed i'm gonna place it like right over here Oh, there's gonna be a lot of work you guys It's all gonna be closed off except one hole where they can go in And then when I walk up to check the trap i'm gonna block that hole off. So they're stuck in there This side's almost done Oh, yeah, brandon. Oh, yeah, first side is almost done. You can see it coming together This is tough, dude, because it's stirring up the water. I can't see where i'm placing the rocks I'm kind of guessing and now we're gonna make it a circle All right, you guys check it out it's about 10 minutes later This is what i'm working with right now I want to build it out a little more this way and then come back and then i'm going to create a hole All this is covered. They can't get out anywhere over there. I have rocks covering everything. What do you think brandon? Looking good. We're almost there. Yeah guys. This is a lot of work. It's hot out here So please go down there leave a like let's finish this trap Dude, come on along. We're almost there. Look I say you take that rock in the middle and put it right there. Yeah Dude it's like i'm playing a what's that game called minecraft. No the game where it's like You fortnight with the blocks and you're like black ops 2. No when you're like taking off the blocks and Roblox, oh my god tetris, dude, the fish are coming for you. Oh my gosh Holy look at me. They're behind you They want to come. Hey, it's not done yet. Listen, I gotta build it first then you could come in They're so anxious to get in here like chill out. I think that should be the main hole. You see that brandon? Yeah, I can come in with a big rock or something to block it off And then boom they're trapped in here brandon ready for the reveal. Yeah, check it Look at the trap. Whoa, it's not done yet. We need shade So let's head into the jungle and find some leaves something to cover the top and make it shady These are our lids look at these dude freaking massive giant pom poms It's from a palm tree we're gonna cover the top of this so it's nice and shady Make the fish really want to go in there. You know, it's a hot day. We gotta lure them in, right? Now i'm just gonna lay these over top ready Just like that. Oh, that's so muddy dude. If I was a fish i'd be going straight in here. No doubt about it Look at that Our trap is done. You guys the fish are gonna go in through that hole and then they're gonna Make this their little home here in the shade. Yeah, look at all the minnows, bro Even the little fish we're not gonna be able to trap the little fish, of course, but as you can see It's already working with the little fish. They love it. We have built a natural Structure for these fish now. It's up to the fish. Hopefully they want to go in we're gonna come back later today We're gonna give this like a full day when we come back What i'm gonna do is i'm gonna have a giant rock in my hand a lot bigger than this And i'm gonna close off that hole and then we're gonna see what we caught. Hopefully we catch something cool Oh, wait, brandon. We forgot to build yours. You want to build it dude? It's so hot out here I need to go get water. I don't know the last time I drink water. Well, we have my trap. It's all right you win Okay, ladies and gentlemen, it is later in the same day. We're here brandon. We're pulling up to the spot right now Oh, dude, I forgot brandon. This is the spot now I haven't done it. I don't think i've done a video here, but brandon has done multiple videos here catching baby iridescent sharks So we know there's adults. Yeah, we know there's adults somewhere in this canal or so Oh my god, stop. Stop. Stop, bro You saw that I don't want to scare him out, but we gotta go slow dude. I saw a big fish in there Okay, we gotta be quiet. I gotta go down there get a big rock and close the hole Let's go Don't don't close your door Okay Oh, dude, i'm moving Oh, look at all the freaking bait, dude. Do you see that dude? I see something that's a lot of you just or that mine just came out of the hole Look at how many fish there are, you know what maybe we should just leave this here dude the fish love it I think this is a good rock Follow me One one swimming out I got it. Oh my god Wait, we need the net 100 like there's actually a snake in there unless he got out I don't know if what I built is secure enough, but Pretty sure he's in there ready. Yep. I'm gonna take the pom-poms off. Let me know if you see anything Wait, i'm gonna grab him ready Oh, he's trying to get out. Oh my god, look bring it Bring it. He's trying to get out right now He's like wedging himself into the rock. Look look look Oh, no Oh, no, i've been at your hand just in case. Oh, I hope my rocks hold up All the things might get crazy here I got the net dude. What does that down there? Is that another peacock? Look you see him. I see I see the peacock and I think What is that bro, there's actually a lot of fish in here, hold on That's the peacock. Oh, no, he's I got look at the Get the peacock I got a peacock. Oh, we gotta keep him bro. We gotta put him in pondax. Look at that thing Oh, yeah scratched up a little bit trying to get out. Look it freaking worked bro the primitive trap Into the cooler you go, buddy Oh got the aerator on guys, this is crazy I love traps like these because we didn't put any bait in here. This is like a different style of fish trap They come in here Seeking shelter and structure Absolutely. No bait needed. Where did that sloppy go? There is it wait, what is that? Wait, is it still in the thing? What is that something big just smoked it up Oh my god, oh my god, I got him Look at this thing Brandon I need you to grab him bro. Oh my god. They're wedging themselves in the rocks And they're like stuck I gotta like unstuck them, let's go put them in the cool actually wait This is a snake head. I forgot you have to release something back in the wild Should I just release this one? You have to release them where you have to Go on your way don't go bro. He's going back in the trap. You see that? No, go back go Look ready there he goes What a stupid fish the thing is I don't feel him or see him and it's like He could be wedged in a rock Hello Can I just feel around in my hands? Yeah I just hit him. That was scary. I don't like this Oh no, oh no. Oh no Get the net get the net Oh jesus, oh it's going wrong dude, it's all falling apart now Where is this net fast, where is he?
