BRITISH try JOLLIBEE for the First Time (NOT what I expected!)

Skeptical Una. It's sour. I don't like it. I don't like that. What? No. Oh my goodness. It's got a sweet taste. Yeah, I like it. This is why British have such a bad reputation when it comes to food. Like, look what they're doing. You're looking, I would say, positively unimpressed by that. Yeah, it's not, it's not living up to my standards. No, that's actually criminal. You can't do that. No wonder this video got viral. What's up, Philippines? Well, well, well. Last video was a little bit upsetting, I would say. If you missed it, it will pop up right here. That's why today I wanted to keep it light-hearted. So, I'm going to do something that is one of my favorite things. Just watch other people eat food and tell me about it. So, today I'm reacting to British high schoolers try Jollibee for the very first time. Phew! I'm excited. But before we head into the video, please subscribe. This is probably the best thing we've ever been given by you guys. Oh my goodness. Okay. That's peculiar. This is real fast food. Oh my god. Today, we're trying Jollibee. I've never heard of that before. You've never heard of Jollibee? But the bucket looks good. Oh, wow. I've heard of Jollibee. I've heard about the chicken. Oh my goodness. I've heard about the chicken. Chicken Jolly. Do you want to show what's in that to the camera? Wow. Look at that delightful, delightful chicken. This is a good day. Delightful, indeed. This is a great day. And because I'm on my own, I just get to eat more. What? This is how big a chicken piece is normally. Jollibee, yeah. Oh, wow. Is that a good surprise? That's a good surprise. Okay. Like, how big are chicken in England? Try it. Wow. That crunch. Nice ASMR. First taste of Jollibee. Craving Jollibee right now. You've got it in on the skin. Taking all the batter off. You've tried no chicken now. Yeah, you leave some batter on. So good. Yeah, it's good. I'm very happy right now. Oh, man. I wish I would have chicken joy right now. I agree. You're feeling the chicken joy. That is good. That is very good. How does that compare to fast food you're used to? Oh, much better. I agree. So, when it comes to the chicken joy or like fried chicken in general, I have to say Jollibee is one of my favorites. Like, I don't do much fast food, but if I do, I go for the chicken joy. Straight out of the gate. Now, Jollibee, my favorite way to have chicken is with their gravy. You see, KFC have set high standards for chicken gravy. That's true. Do you do this too? Do you dip chicken in gravy? KFC gravy, yeah. I usually just do chips. I don't really dip my chicken. Okay. Wow. These kids haven't seen the sun in a very long time. Tastes a lot better than normal. Yeah. That works. You're both kind of eating it in a bit of a panic. Just like chowing down. You just walked in off the desert. You haven't eaten for two weeks. It's really nice. It's like much better than anything I've ever had. Nice. That gravy's nice. So much better with the gravy. That is, oh my goodness, you could dream that, couldn't you? Yeah, it's really good. He's doing it. I can highly recommend it with gravy. Is it good? Okay. What's this one? This is great. Have you had ranch before? No, never. Have you had ranch dressing? Do you want to try dipping it in the ranch? No, I don't trust it. You don't trust it? It doesn't look nice. Yeah, it looks like garlic mayo. Never had it with that one, actually. That's nice. Now, Freddie, is this your first time trying ranch? Skeptical. Oh, not bad. Not sour. It's a little bit sour. Just a little bit. It's a little bit sour. That's a good sour. It's giving it a bit of flavour. It tastes pretty much exactly like sour cream. Is it like the American version of sour cream? No, I think that's sour cream. I don't like it. No, not a fan. Nah. I can't describe it. It's good, but it's also not good. Oh, man. Jollibee. That's peculiar. Next up, another classic Jollibee item. Jollibee spaghetti. It's very condensated. It looks like spaghetti. I think it looks like a katsu curry or something. Is that sausage and noodles? Yeah, that's sausage and noodles. This is Jollibee spaghetti. Diddy spaghetti. Spaghetti in a fast food? What? Yeah. Oh, wow. Pasta. Okay, I'm very curious to see. That is questionable, to say the least. My favourite thing is spaghetti bolognese, but this just doesn't like... This is Jollibee spaghetti. You should be in heaven. The problem is you'd have to choose it over a burger or over a chicken. Or combine it. Combine the two. You can always combine. Okay, here comes the verdict. Nah. It kind of hits a spot. It's not. It's not that bad, actually. It's got a sweet taste. Yeah, I like it. It's actually alright. It's not bad. It's not bad? It tastes like something you'd have as an 8-year-old for lunch. Okay. Yeah, exactly. This is what I used to say so many times. When I was a kid, I used to eat spaghetti with ketchup. And sometimes my mom would just slice some sausage into it. And I liked it as a kid, but as a grown-up... I'm sorry, sorry, sorry. Sorry to you. Sorry. I do prefer the Italian spaghetti. The sour and acidic one. I know, I know. I'm sorry if I broke your heart right now. Shattered. Don't unsubscribe, please. I mean, it's nice. I don't have huge standards in this kind of thing. You're right. It's quite sweet, but I really like all sweet foods. Now, the sauce that they have it in is actually called banana ketchup. Yeah, see, I'm not such a sweet person, so maybe that's why it's not my favorite. Banana and ketchup. Yeah, banana ketchup. Banana and ketchup. Yeah. Like a banana ketchup. Banana ketchup. So this is banana. It's a banana ketchup. I don't know whether anyone really knows, but that's what they call it. I don't know if there's real banana in there. No, that's actually criminal. You can't do that. You're Italian. Yeah, I'm Italian. Okay, okay. You're inspired. The Philippines has just declared war. I mean, it's not the greatest thing I've ever eaten in my life, but I wouldn't say it's bad. Okay. It's just not something I would order when I'm ordering a chicken burger or some chicken wings. If I see this pop up, I just scroll right past it. Oh, he seems to be enjoying it. What about pairing it with the chicken? Just load it up, put a bit of spaghetti on top. He's smashing it. It's like a little wig for the top of your chicken. Yeah. A little bit of hair. There we go. This doesn't feel right. Oh my goodness. No, that doesn't feel right. I don't think this is any good. This is why British have such a bad reputation when it comes to food. Look what they're doing. When Philippines actually do, but I could be wrong. We could be wrong. There's probably someone. Oh my God. Who does this every single time. So it tastes like chicken mixed with spaghetti. Isn't it really? That's not nice at all. I didn't think it would be. No. That's too bad. You can't even taste the chicken. Okay. Yeah, I'm going to stop eating now. Okay. The spaghetti bit is something I don't really want to see again. All right, you can put it in the bucket if you're not a fan. Yeah, there you go. Oh my goodness. Another classic Jollibee item. The double yum burger. Yum. The name. Oh yeah. Yum burger? I love cheeseburgers. Okay. Cheeseburgers are great. Oh my days, look at that. It's a very simple cheeseburger. Oh yeah. Yeah. I like it classic, minimal. I could eat like five of these. Yeah. That is very nice. Okay. Better than McDonald's, I think. Okay. I might as well call that chicken. Oh wow. Dang. McDonald's, watch out. Gorgeous. That is just wonderful. Oh my gosh. Nice. Finger licking good. I think they stole a tagline. You wouldn't need to dip it in ranch, would you? It's just some sauce in there. Oh yeah. Is that a good thing? Yeah. All sauces are better. And none of this... Saucy. He likes it saucy. I can't bother with that. Like, you know, a tiny bit of lettuce. I don't really want lettuce. That's the point. That's so nice. It's liquidy. Why is everything so soft? Okay. The burger is the winner. It is very soft. Very soft. You could probably eat that without teeth. Gum through the um. Denture friendly. It's like for babies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's for babies. It literally just melts in your mouth. It does, right? It's so cheesy as well, but it doesn't taste that bad. Wait, what's the sauce in it? The burger sauce. Yeah. Secret. It's like Jollibee equivalent to Big Mac sauce. Oh, that sauce is just hitting the spot. You're liking the yam burger sauce? It's hitting the spot, yeah. Big Mac sauce? What is that? Who knows it? You know when you get McDonald's? Yeah. It tastes like that. I can't eat McDonald's. No, but like. No, when you go to like McDonald's or KFC on holiday, it tastes like slightly different. It tastes like something I'd get in like Spain or something. Yeah, it depends where you are. You're going to Spain to have a McDonald's. Wow. That's very questionable. So does it just taste like the kind of excitement and joy of a holiday? No, it just tastes like a burger. But just a bit better. Next up, we have the Jollibee Spicy Chicken Sandwich. What's that? This sounds good. Oh, I like the look of that chicken. Chicken sandwich. The chicken is massive. Oh, that does look good. Imagine the chicken jaw and then just in a burger bun. See, this is what I judge fast food on. It's the chicken burger. Oh, yum. Have a nice chicken burger. I won't be going there again. Okay. Wow. Yeah, I think that's a near winner. It's just got higher. It's very crispy. Chicken is exploding out of that burger. And it has like a patty. It's so good. Barely contained. I've got the perfect bite right there. Okay, ready? Alright. Yeah. Not like the cheap version at McDonald's where it's just like a tiny, tiny little thing. Now we go big. Go big or home. Oh my goodness. This is real fast food. Yeah, it is. Oh, she's good. This is the real stuff. I've met him quite a few times. Yeah. Does it taste like a chicken burger? Yeah, it's better than KFC. I agree. Airport. Okay. On the way. Okay, so I had Chick-fil-A in the US and my boyfriend said, you know, you have to try Chick-fil-A. It's so good. It's something that you have to try. And I'm like, oh, I really like, I don't want fast food, but okay, I'll try it just for the sake of trying. And then I had it and my first bite, I was like, it's not bad. You know what? What you need to try is the Jollibee chicken sandwich. And yeah, like I made it a priority. It's on my bucket list to bring him to Jollibee when we come to Manila or the Philippines in general. So he can finally try a proper fried chicken burger. On the way to holiday. Yeah. It's not quite. Not there yet. I need to stop scrolling past this on Uber Eats. It hits my soul. Wow. Right there. In the heart. Aw, right by the heart. David, you're looking, I'd say, positively unimpressed by that. Yeah, it's not, it's not living up to my standards. Okay. The other burger had sauce. This one's, it's just plain chicken. It's got some spice. Oh, okay. Okay. Final thing. You can't have Jollibee without going for their classic dessert. Peach mango pie. Mango pie. It's with real mangoes, people. Real mangoes. No artificial food. I don't like peach and I don't like mangoes. Nice. Okay. This has gone off to a rough start. I like peach. Sorry, I like mango, but not peach. I like both, but I've never had it in a pie. It sounds nice. Listen for the crunch. Peach mango pie. Yeah, that sounds good. That sounds good. It sounds amazing. It looks a lot like McDonald's apple pie. Oof. That crunch. That is so nice. The crunch is insane. They must have a massive microphone there. Yeah. It did sound good. I'm hungry now. I want one. I'm jealous. Okay, it's not actually disgusting. It's not actually disgusting. Okay. I think it's one of the best desserts probably I've had from a fast food restaurant. Okay. Solid. Nice. Okay. Again. Couldn't get any better. Oh my gosh. Jolly be damned. That is good. Oh, I'm hot. That was incredibly... No. Your hand. I like that. Oh my goodness. What? Oh my goodness. What? Oh my god. I can already see a lot of Filipinos going crazy about this. It's okay. I thought it'd be like... Now the McDonald's apple pie, you have chunks of that. That just tastes like peach and mango flavoured custard and I don't like custard either. Triple threat. Alright, well that's been Jolly B. Final thoughts, guys? That was good. It was good. It's probably the best thing we've ever been given by you guys. Wow. Okay. It's actually good. If you take out the spaghetti. It's probably the best. The chicken burger? Yeah. It's hands down better than McDonald's. Yum. The Yum Yum burger. Yeah. I don't know what burger you'd have at McDonald's other than that Yum Yum burger with a bit of spaghetti on the side. Nice. Wow, okay. No wonder this video got viral. I definitely had fun watching it. It put a smile on my face. And yeah, it's just great to see how people react to new foods when they try it.
