Vitaly has caused quite some trouble.
He smuggled in a camera into the prison
and filmed the Philippines prison from the inside.
I need to know what happened.
Someone was saying that he got his hand cut off.
What? He cut off his hand?
Because he's a citizen of Russia
and then from there most likely he can go wherever he wants to.
He found a loophole.
If he's going to be deported back to Russia
does that mean that he has to serve his country
and go straight into war?
What's up Philippines?
Welcome back!
It's been a second but let me tell you
it seems like I've been missing out big time.
A lot has happened on the internet while I was in Mexico
and living a little bit of a different life
but if you want to see a little bit more of that
check out my channel Nelly's Life
where I documented my living experience in Mexico
and I decided to take a break from this channel for a little bit
and come back refreshed
and to some really really crazy news as it seems.
So maybe you guys remember we had this controversy
with Vitaly the Russian vlogger
who went really a little bit crazy in the Philippines
and got arrested for that
and from everything that I've seen so far
it looked like he's going to be in prison
for quite some time in the Philippines
but things have changed
and apparently he is going back to Russia
and I have no idea how that happened
because okay like all of a sudden he's being deported
and it's not going to sit in prison as stated
but let's see what happened
because I need to be brought up to date.
You probably too.
If you're new here,
I react to Philippines videos
that spark some interest and also educate.
Maybe sometimes I put a smile on your face.
So definitely subscribe for that.
It's free and it helps the channel a lot
and without further ado,
let's jump into this video.
The IRL streamer Vitaly was just deported to Russia
but that's a good thing for him
because that means he was essentially spared by the Philippines
and if you have no idea what's going on
that probably sounds insane.
Like what do you mean being deported to Russia is a good thing?
So in short,
big idiot has done a lot of stupid things in his life,
but he was about to do the dumbest thing so far.
He lost his team.
So I guess he thought the proper solutions
that was to go to the Philippines
and be incredibly disrespectful to the locals there.
Run off with a security motorcycle,
steal officer's hats,
steal an industrial fan,
steal a red light mask,
threaten to rob an older lady
and honestly a whole lot more
but according to him,
they were all pranks or jokes
and he welcomed them to jail
because he enjoyed it.
Thanks.
And when confronted about it that
by the way,
this is a toesy
and he has done a whole series on the case
that you can find on his channel.
So definitely check it out.
I reacted to some of his videos
just because he summarizes it in a very good way.
So just wanted to add that night.
He shrugged it off saying,
oh, I donate so much money here.
So it's okay.
Well, I guess it was okay until he got arrested
perp walked out in front of the nation
in charge of the whole bunch of crimes
and that's also around the same time
that people started realizing.
Oh wait,
stealing a motorcycle is Grand Theft Auto
and Grand Theft Auto is an automatic 20-year prison sentence
in the Philippines.
Yeah, he wasn't charged for that.
So his entire freedom in life was hinging on
if the prosecutors decided to charge him
for the thing he live streamed himself doing
for the entire world to see
so now that we've caught up
and yes,
I got out of Jack Doherty's arraignment
for his criminal trial yesterday.
I saw the news that they had yet another press conference
with Vitalik,
which is wild because it looks like his jail time
there started and ended with being perp walked out
for a press conference,
but unfortunately for us the press conference
was in Tagalog so I had to dub it
so we have any shot at understanding
what's going on here,
but was it a flawless dub probably not
but with it we can actually see
what's going on here.
Okay.
This is subject to clearances from the NBI
and the courts where cases have been filed
his cases at the tag regional trial court
and municipal trial court have been resolved
and served as well the penalty you have there
thus the siblings can also proceed
with his deportation soon.
We are coordinating on the location
for his deportation,
which is his country Russia interesting
very interesting
Vitalik is a holder of a US green card,
but is a citizen of Russia thus the normal process
is not about the country of residence,
but the passport of origin his
passport is from Russia.
So the deportation will be processed there.
Yeah, interesting for me is
if he's going to be deported back to Russia.
Does that mean that he has to serve his country
and go straight into war so many questions
and also this is something that I've seen
but like after I saw that this video came out
apparently he smuggled in a camera into the prison
and filmed the Philippines prison from the inside.
I might do a video on that
because I need to know what happened
and I need to like bring you guys up to date
because this case is going really really crazy.
A lot of people have ill feelings about him.
All right, and just like that he was allowed to go home.
So that's essentially how the headline of being deported
to Russia is a positive thing for him
because normally when you use the word deported
it has a negative context.
I don't mean it makes sense
because like there's no longer any real pressure
on the government to actually punish him
because around half the people I talked to didn't know
who he was a lot of other people said
they already forgotten about him,
even though they still didn't like him.
Well, I knew him like a long time ago.
I dude was a pretty much a online.
So when I heard that he came over here,
I knew he was up to no good.
Yeah, after hearing about what happened to him
just for context Vitaly has caused quite some trouble
in the past as you can see on his original YouTube channel.
He has already been arrested multiple times as well
in different countries.
So this is not a new thing.
This is a strategy.
This is done intentionally.
So I don't know what to think about it.
Let me know in the comment section down below
because I've very mixed feelings after seeing the headlines
and reading all of the news
and also seeing the videos that were quite disturbing
and now knowing that you know,
he can just go free is I don't know.
It's very interesting regarding his incarceration.
I know he's in jail now.
I think he should receive the maximum sentence.
But what I do notice is a lot of people here
pretty much forgot what happened here.
Yeah, some people do know I guess if they followed you
these yeah, they would still know about it.
Yeah, but pretty much like a lot of people here
have just forgotten about it.
Usually cases like this tend to drag for months.
Yeah, so I wouldn't be surprised
if you didn't hear about like this case this week
or the next one.
So yeah, the justice system is where it's really slow here.
Interesting, but at least as of right now,
it seems like that nightmare is ending for Vitaly
and we've only seen him just a handful of times
since he was arrested with the most recent one being of him
looking like he was getting baptized.
Oh, wow last alarming rumor that broke out about Vitaly
and like I think it was like two weeks ago.
Someone was saying that he got his hand cut off.
So it's nice to see him all in one piece of this press.
Wait, what?
He cut off his hand?
What?
Did I hear that correctly?
Because that completely disproves it.
But I mean the dude spent almost a year in Camp Bagong Diwa
and just before he was thrown in there.
There was this whole coverage on what it was like to be
in there and how overcrowded it was.
The Bureau of Immigration is planning for the rehabilitation
of their detention center at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City
due to the congestion problem.
According to immigration spokesperson,
the capacity of the current VI facility is only 100 but
more than 300 foreign nationals are currently detained.
That's crazy.
Yeah, it is crazy.
300 area livable.
That's crazy.
The bar was like, okay, we have to make this livable.
Currently the Bureau of Immigration is cooperating
with law enforcement agencies.
So not all foreign nationals who will violate the law
will be brought to their facilities.
So this segment right here is really just showing a lot
of the hallways, not actually what it's like inside of
the cells. Camp Diwa.
I'm trying to see if I can find the, what the jail cells look like.
Well, we have, I'm pretty sure we have some footage.
TV sets in all Camp Diwa cells.
I have to monitor what's going on.
Oh, wow.
I mean this, this looks extremely cramped.
I wonder how many cellmates he had at a time here.
So I mean, hey, good for him that he is out of there because
I don't think anyone would ever want to spend any time there.
Unfortunately for Gino though, he'll be probably spending
some time there because speaking of Gino, who's the other
IRL streamer who just got arrested in the Philippines.
I got confirmation from someone.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
There's another guy and there's also some other Russian guy
that I saw that also got in trouble for injecting HIV needles
to people or something like that.
I don't have the full context yet.
I will watch the video probably with you guys.
But what is going on in the Philippines?
Why are foreigners coming to the Philippines and think they
can just stir up some trouble and get away with it?
This needs to be punished properly so that people respect
the country and know that the law is going to be enforced.
That knows him pretty well that he's been missing since
he posted that he got arrested.
So yeah, that was probably him getting arrested.
It's kind of like they were doing a relay race and Vitaliy
is like, ah, all right, I'm going.
I'm going to pass this baton on to Gino.
And Gino is like, yeah, I'll keep this cell warm for you,
bud.
I don't know.
It's so messed up.
I don't know why.
I just don't understand the logic here.
Why would you ever go to foreign countries, especially countries
that have penalties like the Philippines and commit crimes?
Exactly.
It doesn't make sense to me.
But either way, a lot of people are also asking why he's being
deported to Russia though, and he did answer it here, but
it's simply because he's a Russian citizen but has an American
green card.
So therefore because he's a citizen of Russia, he'll get
deported to Russia.
And then from there, most likely he can go wherever he wants
to. So once Vitaliy has officially left the Philippines, I mean,
it's safe to say he dodged one of the biggest artillery shells
possible.
I mean, doing something that can get you 20 years in prison
in a country like the Philippines is absolutely not ideal.
In life, you would always want to avoid anything like that.
But the dude has been in some of the worst conditions possible
for nine months now.
So I'm happy he's able to go home.
What he did though was a next level stupid move.
Hopefully he learned how stupid this actually was and he
won't continue doing the same antics right away like a certain
other dude who's still stuck in South Korea.
I mean just looking at the guys before and after here.
Yeah, it looks like he's learned his lesson because at the
end of the day, we want people to learn from their mistakes.
But if you want the full story of how he even got into the
situation to begin with, you can click on this video right
here where I even go to the Philippines and backtrace all
of his steps.
So yeah, no, that's a crazy video that I would recommend
checking out.
But other than that, if you're new here, feel free to subscribe,
drop a like if you enjoyed the video and I'll see you guys
in tomorrow's video.
Peace.
Okay.
As always, Atozy is very reliable when it comes to bringing
the latest updates.
Let me know what you think about it.
I personally have very mixed feelings about it because of
the nature of everything.
It's not like it just happened as a prank and he didn't know
better.
It was a strategy.
It was to streamline online.
It was to make money from it and it's definitely not okay.
For me, absolutely a no-go.
As he said, happy that he got out of this prison and like
the situation because it is a pretty, pretty intense situation
that he found himself in.
But then again, there are other people that are in there as
well who might deserve to get out but didn't.
So I don't know.
I have very mixed feelings about it.
Let me know in the comment section down below what you think
and if you want to see more news from the Philippines,
definitely subscribe and I'll keep you posted on the next
one when it's time for What's Up Philippines?
Bye-bye.
