it's not cheap to live in the Philippines we learned that mcti may not be the most expensive area butc was the more lavish neighborhood in the Philippines Milli this so Filipino property can be you know expensive sem expensive I have my own take on property in the Philippines I used to own two and there are quite good deals however selling it is a different topic it's been a struggle what's up most expensive area in the Philippines $2.9 million Australian for this party in Metro M most expensive luxurious homes in the entire country wo that's actually really cool with average property prices raing from 50 to 57 million pezos I wanted to find out what's the general public's opinion on the area so mccar is both rich but also dangerous yeah you might get sh properties look like up here here in MTI there's a lot of um high-end Villages and what do people usually do for work around here mostly buiness ordinary what do you think about mcari you know like is a nice area to live in floors that's impressive not going to lie I'm going to guess how much is this worth okay sure four bedrooms four bathrooms BGC one parking one parking and what year was this building built last year okay so built in 2023 I'm going to guess an Australian do okay you can oh I'm so curious 3 and half million Australians wow 2 and half million higher 3 million almost 2.9 Million this so Filipino property can be you know expensive sem expensive xarts XS okay okay cool and is that the case with um most people living in this building there are a lot of Filipino buyers as well I was taken back by the beautiful views that this price range offers in the pen but Fay also wanted to show us even more luxury where we got speak with the owner and ask her a few questions about owning property in the Philippines but before that they gave us a live to Forbes Park yeah vanilla's Forbes Park contains many it's one of the most expensive areas in the Philippines 1 billion to 32 billion pezos to buy making it one of the most expensive streets in the Philippines Forbes Park is an area also home to Manny pakia one of the world's most famous former professional box I'm just here with my Filipino tux wow like just hanging out with him fun in back yes and after a quick drive we were now in for's park miss you already all right and I wanted to take a walk through the street to do some door knocking and hopefully speak to wealthy home so there's some huge houses on my left right here we're going to guess the house prices and there's like a huge like gated community here so it is quite a culture shock it's very different from Australia obviously what are your thoughts it's like turac in Melbourne it's like turac in Melbourne hell I don't know cuz there's trees here cuz there are trees here it looks like turac apparently oh what what are this house well check that out KN that's just cool like yeah you can't really enter those places because it's first of of all most people they have gods and then secondly it's a gated community meaning that if you are not on the list you're not going to enter from Australia you own this house no I'm just a security guard oh you're security guard with no choice but to stop filming on the street you know we're in a different country so we don't want to do the wrong thing no I don't think see the luxury condo in BGC I don't think they anything against the buying and owning property here in the Philippines in the Philippines in terms of property I recently bought a block of property in Australia there's something in Australia called the first homeowners buyers Grant and it's free feel like someone looking to buy their first home does the Philippines have something like that no here in the Philippines you can own as much um it depends you can get a discount if it's above if you buy more than two then then you get a discount and now we getting a discount on a very high prices and I got to speaking to the owner about her family and the Philippines to you know live in a nice place like this I think you should be earning like maybe a million 1.5 a month living comfortably because the even the basic Commodities the restaurants here are a bit higher jobs here would give some one it really EDS a maret you said actually Philippines is uh we have a lot of international companies yeah so I think a lot of exports here so and most of the people who live here are expats yeah like you know higher exellent of the corporate world about like wealthy Filipinos that are from the Philippines what sort of jobs do they have most of them own their own businesses what would someone from jollybee earn for example like working full-time at jollybee how much would they earn a month J 16 15,000 a month which is that's insane that's like wow that's crazy and last what do you think is the secret to success in the Philippines if you really want to be rich you have to have your own business you have ex and uh yeah and good connection after seeing the H's most expensive area I was surprised by the big price difference to own properties in Manila compared to back home City and I'm thankful to see what luxury in the Philippines looks like
