Hello, my name is Julien Hirst and I've been managing the Esry Golf Club since 2024.
We are in the heart of the Haute-Savoie, between the Valais-de-Larve and the city of Geneva,
not far from Mont-Blanc, and about 15-20 minutes away from Geneva by car.
The Golf was designed by Michel Gayon, the architect, 35 years ago,
since he opened it in the spring of 1990.
We are now in 2025, so it's been exactly 35 years.
We have a restaurant that wants to be a little more gastronomic,
and we have a snack, things that correspond more to the needs of golfers.
So the Golf has a pro shop, like a little bit of all the Golfs.
We make a lot of products, pretty logos.
We work with beautiful brands.
It's true that it's something that appeals a lot to both our members
and also to passers-by who want to leave with a memory.
We have a golf school, we have the academy.
We get good players.
The sponsor of the academy is called Adrien Sadier.
Obviously, we are very proud to have Adrien among the Ezri family,
because Adrien grew up here.
The academy now has about 120 children.
Overall, Ezri wants to be quite sporty.
It is a Golf that is affiliated with the two French and Swiss federations,
which allows us to be present at both the Swiss and French championships,
and also to organize events of the Swiss federation,
and of course of the French federation.
We have a 18-hole championship course for members and good players.
We authorize access from an index of 30.
And we have a 9-hole course.
It's a real 9-hole course that allows you to target
and respond to many types of customers.
It is used both to train,
but also it allows you to generate a lot of new golfers
who come from all over the valley, from Geneva.
A lot of people who start golfing on the 9-hole,
and who then, after having lowered their handicap,
are ready to switch to the 18-hole.
For me, I love the 14-hole.
It's a par 4 of about 300 meters, a little downhill,
potentially attackable in 1 by good players,
and which is very nice, that you can really attack directly.
You can hit it by going for a slope,
which brings the ball directly between two bunkers,
and which potentially brings the ball directly to the green.
Which is super nice, and above all, we are a little high,
there is water, we have a magnificent view of the Mont Blanc valley.
But it is true that from many places in golf,
we see the landscape, we have the chance to have an exceptional panorama.
Esris, unlike many golf clubs in the region,
does not close during the winter months,
especially during the months of November to February.
We are the only golf club that remains open,
we keep our summer greens, we keep the departures,
and therefore the members can access the course,
but also the people from outside, via web platforms,
to be able to come and play all year round.
It is true that it is the great attraction, the great strength of Esris,
it is both this exceptional panorama,
the quality of the course, of course,
the services that can be provided,
but also this possibility to play all year round.
It is a great strength in Haute-Savoie for a mountain golf club,
which is not one, because we are only 600 meters away.
