Yue Yuan vs. Yulia Putintseva ｜ 2025 Beijing Round 1 ｜ WTA Match Highlights).

Oh, that is what she does. Yeah, too short and Wan ready to pounce. Been a tough service game but chance to come through. Yeah, too tentative that from Wan. Yeah, well played. Much better service game there. And Wan takes it. Listen to the applause. Well, it was a slow start by Wan, you really was. Had to work so hard to hold serve in the first couple of games, but she did. Then she took a chance. From there on in, she has gone from strength to strength. First set on the board, 44 minutes. Oh, that's another beauty. And surprise, surprise, it's on the forehand. Can't give her that sort of time. Yeah, the drop shot. The put and save is a very strong part of a game. Yeah, it's good. Yeah, just about on the line. Oh, well, like for like there from Wan. The put and save has squandered hers. Oh, shot of the day right there. Take a bow, Wan Yu. Stunning. Again, the drop shot was delightful. And she's found the line. Put and save drops a racket in disbelief. I think it's disbelief really for the whole match. The put and save smiles on the faces of Wan's team. That is a much needed win for her. Put and save will look back on that match and will know exactly where she lost it. The bottom line for her, she took none of the chances that came along. Wan took them all. Three chances to break, three taken. She's entered round two in straight sets, seeing off Yulia Putsaeva 6-3, 6-3.
