Hello to everyone who speaks or learns Russian.
My name is Yaroslava.
Today we will go to the museum.
I'm in the Art Museum of Tbilisi.
And we'll see what's interesting there.
I'm taking off my mask, obviously, so that I can be heard better.
Now we are in the first hall.
And there are sculptures, paintings.
This is a city.
In a painting, we always look at the color, at the paint.
This painting is painted with oil, on canvas.
In general, there are a lot of words in Russian, borrowed from other languages, obviously.
And, for example, this genre.
Avant-garde.
Realism.
Impressionism.
Post-impressionism.
In general, all of them.
Another direction.
Minimalism.
A little more avant-garde.
I like avant-garde.
This is an island.
This is a satellite.
One thing that I really like about the Night of the Dead,
which in English is not called Still Life,
although in Russian it is Night of the Dead, but obviously,
and in the original language it is called Dead Nature.
And here is a portrait.
And such pictures can already be called pictures.
For example, this is called
Mice Bury a Cat.
Here is a cat.
More mice.
Mice are conquerors.
I am surprised how many mice and how many cats they buried.
This is a very interesting picture.
A lonely man sits and watches people work.
To be honest, I don't like this genre.
Because there are a lot of details in it.
And such pictures are very rich.
And it seems like everyone is in hell and I am in hell.
Very scary.
Very, very scary.
Well, yes.
And another genre.
Self-portrait.
Jamal.
If you really looked like that.
Oh, interesting.
These are beautiful statuettes.
This is a very soulful collage.
Look at these cutouts.
And of course.
It's all written in oil.
To be honest, when I went to this museum,
I didn't have any expectations.
I had a very weak idea of the cultural and artistic life of Georgia.
And that's why almost everything here is new to me.
It seems to me that there are several interesting things
that I would like to say about Georgian painting.
Of course, this is perhaps the peculiarity of this museum.
But people here are shown a little differently than in the Russian classical art tradition.
I think the portraits in this museum are more intense.
Second.
The landscapes of Russian artists are very realistic.
While the landscapes of Georgian artists.
Well, the plot is different there.
Because Georgia is still water and mountains.
And Russia is forests, fields, plains.
But here the landscapes are more abstract.
And here is surrealism.
Friends.
I think we're done.
I really liked the museum.
Exhibition.
As I said, I didn't expect anything.
I was just curious to go down and see what was going on.
In general, if I go to some city, if I visit some city,
then I always go to the art museum, to the art gallery,
to look at art.
How people of this country see beautiful things.
And what they want.
How they express themselves.
Therefore, it was just a matter of time to come to this museum.
I wonder what I will get.
What I filmed.
What I will see in the end.
Recordings.
Thank you for being with me.
