Tour Our 32' Model Tiny Rental | Tiny House Living at Mountain Haven 🌲

What's up everyone? I'm Stephen here with Tin House Listings and today behind me I have a brand new just off the factory line uh 32 by8 model tiny. Now we just recently uh completed quite a few other tiny homes and this one just like a few other ones that we have are going to our community in Mountain Haven in Virginia. Uh exciting news, we may have another community coming up for you soon, but it's very early uh to go into that. So we'll go to that at the appropriate time. But anyways, the purpose of this video, I just want to quickly show you this 32x8. Now, this is going to be a full-time rental for the new owners or the new renters, I guess you could say. And um later on, maybe they decide that they want to buy it. So, we'll see. Uh but uh if you decide to have a rental at our community, it's a one-year lease. And uh the prices range, the rental uh rates range depending on the size, but also typically the way we price it is all of your amenities are included. That's electricity, trash, sewer, water, grounds, maintenance, internet, everything's all included. So, basically, you just pay that one fee. So, anyways, we're going to walk around the outside, then we're going to go inside and show you what it's like. So, when we were painting this tiny home, I was thinking to myself, I love this color. This is one of the favorite colors that we've ever painted. It's made out of LP sheets and like the uh the few that we recently featured on our channel. We ran these sideways. I think it's kind of a cool look. Um, and it's less batten. Some people don't like the busyiness of the battens, some do. Uh, but this is just a different look. You can see we use black windows, black roof up there. On this one, we put the mini split up high. Um, so it's unobstructed views. I think it looks really nice. Mini splits are super efficient. Um, if you've never lived in a home that has one, I highly recommend it. So, we'll go inside real quick. So, we have this one stage just to give you an idea of what it looks like staged. Um, on this one, it's pretty much entirely drywall except the back wall, which is pine tongue and groove. This is a queen bed just to give you reference. So, you have room on both sides. And if you wanted to take the bed and move it this way, you could. Um, but there's lots of ideas, lots of different arrangements. That's the good thing about a tiny home like this, that it's just wide open. This one also has engineered wood floors. So, this is real wood. See, we have a storage there. Put a fulls size couch here if you wanted. Side table. You can put another couch over here if you wanted. Put a kitchen table here. This is just how we have it staged. Over here is wide open. We left it that way. So, um, yeah, if you want, you could put a full pantry there. Fulls size fridge goes here. That'll get put in before we send it out. Beautiful kitchen countertop, butcher block, three burner cooktop, lots of storage. If you were to buy one of these, we could do a different arrangement if you want. You can actually have this go over further for a seating area, but it's nice to look out your window while you're doing dishes. So, we put that there. You can put shelves up here. Got some storage there, storage here. Also storage above here in the loft. Beautiful bathroom. Very large by tiny house standards. Toilet. Another window here. It's where your washer and dryer goes. Beautiful shower. When you come back here, you can see it's wide open. So, we've had a lot of people say they love the wide openness. It's basically a studio apartment and um if you go into a lot of tiny homes, they're pretty choppy. Um they do that for obvious reasons, but it kind of breaks up the space a lot so you don't feel you feel a little bit claustrophobic. So there's a time and place for those, but that's not really our focus. Ours is to feel wide open, ground level sleeping. Now, another thing we can do, and we're doing that for another customer now, is to put we call it a storage wall. So basically, it'd be a storage here and a storage here and a door in between. and that the storage literally creates a pu uh privacy space between the bedroom and the living areas. Okay, so just a quick tour for you of this 32x8 model tiny. Uh this has been our most popular model over the years. We've built over 150 homes and I would say 70 of them. I need to look have been just this one individual model. Uh we have now have tiny homes in most states. I think we're in over 40 states now. And Tiny House Listings the platform has actually assisted in the sale of over 20,000 homes. So, Tiny House Listings is the original marketplace for tiny homes and um back in 2020, we decided we're going to start building tiny homes. Co a little snag in that. Then in 2022, we really cranked things back up. So, for the last 3 years, we've been building a lot of homes. Next year, we're on schedule to build over 100 homes. Uh maybe more than that, but the factory that we moved uh to recently has allows us to build pretty much infinite amount. Um so, that feels really good cuz affordable housing has been a problem for quite a few years now. and we're doing our best to help solve that. And um so anyways, that is the tour of this 32x8. This time next week, it will be set up at Mountain Haven with new people living in this brand new tiny home. So it's kind of interesting you think about it, isn't it?
