Step inside this abandoned farmhouse where time seems to have stopped, and discover a world untouched by the present. The antique furniture and forgotten places create an eerie atmosphere, hinting at stories lost to time. Join the rural exploring adventure as we wander through these abandoned houses.
I spent an afternoon exploring every room, capturing what was left behind. From the wood trim to the forgotten kitchen, this abandoned building feels more like a question than an answer. Why did they leave it all behind?
Stick around until the end — that’s where things get interesting.

Would you dare step inside a house where
time has simply stopped? From the
outside, it's just another old
farmhouse.
But step through the door and it feels
like time froze.
Furniture left behind, bottles of
homegrown moonshine still in the house,
and fireplaces that haven't burned in
decades.
Why did everyone leave this abandoned
building in such a hurry? Let's find
out.
[Music]
Okay, guys. Here we go.
And I absolutely promise you that you
guys are going to love this house. Holy
crap. I have been here for so long
taking pictures already.
This house is incredible, guys. It's so
nice inside. Holy cow. So, here we go.
Just going to work our way through here.
All right, there we go. I just needed to
turn up my light a little bit cuz some
rooms are pretty dark, but I am going to
go nice and slow today, guys, cuz I
really want you guys to take in this
house and all the original features.
It's like all original, guys. Everything
is old
and rustic and like antiquey.
Oh man.
So, this here would have been a dining
room, evident by the lowhanging light
right here and the kitchen straight
ahead.
This room straight ahead is my absolute
favorite. We'll go there in a little
while. So, I'm going to tell you guys,
you want to stick around for this whole
video. It's definitely definitely worth
it. It's such a nice house, guys, man.
So, before we go to the main living room
area, we'll go back here into the
kitchen first.
Here you've got a wood burning stove.
That's probably where they stored the
wood.
Look at these beams here, guys. Look at
these thick beams.
Wow.
It's your gas fireplace there.
Okay, so kitchen's kind of cool. There's
still some dishes in the drying rack,
and there's a bunch of really old wine
bottles and stuff. See this kitchen?
Like, look at how old the sink is. This
is like original antique farmhouse stuff
right here.
Soap right there.
And yeah, so there's all this old wine
here.
And we head over here. We got some
dishes.
Teapot coffee cups.
Oops. Some more wine.
Guessing the fridge would have probably
been right here.
These doors here don't open. That
probably goes to the basement, but I
can't get it open.
All the all the knobs and fixtures are
still here.
A lot of the doorork knobs, too. A lot
of this stuff is usually missing.
This is probably a pantry. Oh, I didn't
go back here yet. Oh, wow. Look at this.
I didn't even go back here yet, guys. I
didn't see this. That must go down to
the basement, which we'll see how I feel
about that a little bit later. And I
think we all know how that's going to
go. There's a horseshoe up there.
All right, let's go to
the living room now.
My favorite room.
You guys are going to love this room.
All right, in we go.
Look at this room, guys.
Mind my camera gear. It's just sitting
right there. This right here is the
highlight of the room. You got this
gorgeous window. Three windows. All
natural light coming in.
Old and decaying and crumbling and
falling apart.
[Music]
And then a completely out of place
exercise bike or elliptical machine.
Doesn't match anything in the house. But
look at the staircase, guys.
We got a nice straight on lined up view
of the whole room from here.
And this really old mirror up here. I'll
turn my light off so we can get a good
look at it. There you go. What's up,
guys?
[Music]
Isn't that nice?
There's a huge jar right here. Can't
make out what's in it.
No idea what that would be. If that's
wine or if it's beer or if it's oil or
if it's something completely different.
I have no idea what would be in there.
But I bet you if we pop that cork it
would be disgusting.
[Music]
All right. What do you say we head
upstairs? There's lots to see up there.
Let's go.
All right. Here we go.
Nice massive window straight ahead.
There's a neighbor right across the
street. I had to be very careful getting
in here and not being seen.
So, we got a few bedrooms up here.
The light in here is gorgeous, guys.
And there's an old picture here.
See if I can get my light turned up a
little bit so you can see this better.
It's not really working, is it?
Yeah. There you got these people going
for a nice little scroll here.
And then there's a picture a wider shot.
All right. Big comfy leather couch.
Probably makes a lot of noise. And then
there's a picture here that's been
cracked right down the middle.
All right. So, let's head through here.
This next bedroom is pretty boring. Not
really much to see in here.
just a
a dresser and some and some uh
insulation, but that's about it. This is
probably the most boring, least
interesting room in the whole house.
Then we've got a bathroom here. There's
some stuff. We got some mattresses here.
And we've got a little sewing kit.
And then here is a little bit of a to-do
list.
Let's see. What does it say? Ripley's
dresser drawer needs fixing. Fix the
window panes. Take the bassinet and cage
out to the pile. Put up the curtain in
the bathroom. All kinds of stuff.
Eric, get your firearms. $35.
[Music]
All right, here's the bathroom.
Nice dresser. I wonder if this is a
dresser that needs to be fixed.
You got the curtain still hanging on the
rod on the shower rod.
[Music]
and a strange place to keep a dresser.
And that nice huge window covered with
uh vines and leaves. And then there's a
bathroom closet with some nice plaster
falling off the wall here.
[Music]
All right, this next room you're going
to love. If you haven't loved anything
else, you're going to love this next
room.
All right. So, it's a bit of a little
door as you can see. It's you have to
duck to get in,
but here it's a nice back room
with slanted ceiling,
deep windows on each side.
You got a little desk right there with
some great natural light.
And then your dresser. Very, very nice
antique dresser.
Mirror could definitely use some
cleaning, eh?
Bed is still here.
And then there's a little like design
that's been cut
onto the wall to give a little bit of
depth and some interest to the room. And
inside it on this side, you've got some
little shelves to put beside your bed.
And then back here,
there's a closet.
And you've got an old radio
and someone's night gown still hanging
on the wall
and a chair.
And then back here is kind of like a
utility area.
Not really much to see. There's a closet
back here
with some paint
and some books.
Hey, Rick Mercier report. The book. I
just bought two of his books and I'm
going to go see him live in October. I
just bought tickets to go see them.
[Music]
And then there's a little closet back
here.
And then this window. Interesting window
and door.
And then you open it up again. Original
door hardware.
And then it's just kind of like a
utility area. The the furnace
or the wood stove exhaust is in here.
And then there's just a bunch of crap.
Drywall that came off the floor or off
the ceiling I should say. There's a
mattress back there. And that's about
it. Just some other junk. And then the
servant stairs back here.
All right. So, I think why don't I take
a bit of a walk back through the house.
I'll do some panning cinematic stuff so
you guys can get a good view without me
and my jibberjabber and then we'll go
from there. All right. I'll see you guys
back in a minute.
When you step into this abandoned
farmhouse, it feels like time just
stopped. The furniture is still here.
The wood trim still frames every
doorway. The fireplaces sit cold, but
you can almost imagine smoke rising from
them on a winter morning. In the
kitchen, a few bottles were left behind.
Some say they could have been moonshine
tucked away when money was tight. Maybe
they're just bottles.
Maybe they're proof of a different life
lived here. The mystery is part of what
makes this place unforgettable.
The house itself is full of character.
Worn, yes, but untouched in so many
ways. You can picture families gathering
around the stove. The sound of firewood
crackling and the rhythm of farm life
carrying on just beyond these walls.
But then silence.
The people are gone and no one seems to
know exactly why. Did they move away for
work? Was the farm lost to debt? Or did
something happen here that was never
written down? That's the thing with
places like this. They leave behind more
questions than answers. Every room feels
like a snapshot from the past, frozen in
place, waiting for someone to notice.
Today, all that's left is a house
standing quietly against the elements.
Empty, but not forgotten.
And as you walk through, you can't help
but wonder, if these walls could talk,
what story would they tell?
