Aolvo Apple CarPlay Stereo

What's good YouTube, man? It's your boy Yon Dub coming at y'all with another video here. Uh, it's been quite a minute since I posted on the channel. Uh, this Joker right here is something that I unboxed last year. Um, I was out in Chicago doing some training for my company. Um, and I think I took the unit with me just to unbox it to have some content to upload at that time. Um, what y'all hear is that sample riding around in the back. Let me turn up just a little bit here. All right, now that sample that y'all are hearing is being played on a PRV uh, MB700FT. Uh, it's a Forte speaker that I've had for years. Like, I don't know, probably three or four years that I've had that speaker. Um, powering the head unit with the Down for Sound LTO 6.0 lithium battery. Um, I don't know, seven pounds of controversy, man. Uh, but this battery, this battery has done me excellent. Um, as far as, uh, trying things out. Why I, you know, got the little stereo and, um, the BZ-RK speakers. Um, I've tried those out as well. Those things sound downright amazing, man. Uh, so if you're, if you're in the market for some six and a half inch speakers, um, where the budget's like 80 bucks or something like that. Definitely, highly recommend the BZ-RK speakers, man. Those things get down. Um, I'll probably put a little screenshot of them in the video, uh, around here somewhere, man. But, um, nevertheless, right now, uh, we are looking at, uh, I believe it was Osumin or whatever. Apparently it's Alvoralo or something like that, man. Uh, don't quote me on that. It's, it's not Osumin or Osmin or whatever the heck it was. It's no longer under that name. It's under a different name now. Uh, but this is the D8 Pro. Yeah, let's see here. I'm trying to read off the box. Yeah, the A-O-L-V-O. So I don't know, but it's the D8 Pro. Uh, so I'm using my old iPhone for this. Uh, it has the wireless CarPlay. Uh, so this is definitely something that you may want to look at. I believe this head unit is like $110 at the moment. It was 200 bucks. Uh, but apparently they decided to drop the price here, man. So clearly we see the Apple CarPlay, uh, Android Auto, uh, has AirPlay, auto-linking radio, um, and USB. Not going to do the radio right now because I don't have the antenna hooked up to it and whatnot, man. Uh, but it does have a phone. Um, and then, uh, Bluetooth and the whole nine, man. So let's go to the settings and we'll go system. I guess you could change the wallpapers and things like that on it. Uh, personally, I haven't messed with this thing too much, man. I pretty much just put it in the car. Um, I had it in my, uh, Chevy S10 for a good while, probably a couple of months. And I just never got around to shooting a video. Uh, then I took this out in order to put that Pioneer, uh, I think S320BT, I believe is what it says. I got the box over here and I was trying to look at it, man. But, um, let's go to sound effect. They have an EQ where you can kind of, uh, set everything up. It has, you know, like the balance and fader, uh, EQ. You can set it up to where you want it. Uh, leave us a 13 band EQ. And obviously y'all hear this song all the time because that's kind of what I have to do, man. In order to, uh, make sure that we get everything that's copyright free. We'll turn this up. It's going to get pretty loud. All right. So like I said, man, this thing, it does get pretty loud, man. Uh, all, all in all, it's pretty, uh, it's a pretty decent head unit, man. Like I said, um, I haven't messed with it too much, man. I just pretty much been using it, uh, to get by for the meantime. Doubled in head unit with the carplay, wireless carplay at that, man. You can't really complain. Loudness. I did hear the jump in the volume. Uh, but like I said, man, loudness is something that I don't really use too much. Um, let's see what the radio, uh, so obviously this is more of an Android base head unit, man. Uh, has the area set to Europe. Like I said, man, I never hooked up the radio or anything like that. Uh, but over and all, man, it's pretty, you know, obviously a pretty decent head unit has a ton and I do me a ton of features on it. Uh, so this might be something that you want to look at, uh, if you're in the market for, uh, let's say cause safety driving bad video, whatever. I'm not using the video right now, but like I said, man, if you're looking for something that's about $110 brand new, uh, via Amazon, this might be a unit that you might want to try. And let's see here. I don't know why it's not playing the music right now. Yeah. See, at the end of the day, it's not a pioneer or anything like that. Let me, let me see if I can change the track. If that'll do it. I'm not a chance in hell. So when you start looking at that head unit, that's $110. Now you see why it's 110 bucks. Uh, let's see. Now this old, like I said, man, I got an old iPhone. Uh, technically it would be hooked up to the wifi in the house. Uh, but it's not doing that. So y'all can see there. It can't connect cause I got it, uh, the wireless carplay right now. So the speaker's still hooked up. Trying to figure out why I'm not getting sound. Give me just a moment, man. Let me take a look and see what we got going on here. All right, folks. So we're back. Uh, you can hear the music in the background. One of the leads on the speaker back there. The speaker is back behind where that little target, uh, Spiderman dog, the speaker is behind that. One of the leads that came off the speaker. Uh, so that's the reason why it got quiet. Uh, but nevertheless, uh, that's a personal knock on me, not on the head unit. So the head unit is perfectly fine. Okay. I never noticed that, that car home. This is me in the, uh, me and pioneer, man. Uh, I am a pioneer guy all day long, all day, every day. So, uh, when it comes to speakers, um, it depends. DS 18, uh, BZRK recently here, PRV, uh, obviously scar. Uh, those are the speakers that I'm more of a speaker guy. Um, pro audio, things like that. Pioneer is my head unit. I tried Kenwood, uh, didn't like it. This, like I said, it's more of an Android head unit, man, but, uh, y'all can see it has like a reset button there and then the mic. Uh, so you, like I said, man, it does have a Bluetooth. If somebody's calling, uh, you can talk to them on the phone via Bluetooth and the whole nine, man. But, um, would I recommend this head unit if you're on a budget? Yes. And no, um, if you were Android person, Android tablet, the whole nine, I would recommend this for you. Um, if you're more of a, um, Apple person, this might be a little bit difficult. I would probably say, Hey man, you might want to look at dual. I'm going to say, I didn't even know what this is, but, um, I probably can't connect to that cause I don't have the, uh, internet on, on this old phone here. I'm using my old Apple SE phone here, uh, to play the music, man. But yeah, at the end of the day, uh, the sound quality on this, you do have to do a little bit of work. Uh, where are we at here? Sound effect. Uh, so you have to go into the sound effect place, uh, go to the EQ and really go through all these bands, man. Now I will say this, as far as the bands, uh, they are somewhat responsive, not the greatest, uh, but they will get you by. Um, and at the end of the day, if you want to hook up a sound system, the whole nine, uh, does have all that available on the back of it. Uh, I'll probably get a picture of it when I get done, uh, shooting this video here and just insert that into the video, man. But, um, I guess at the end of the day, if you got $110 and you're just looking at something to get you by, man, this would probably do it. A double din screen, wireless car play, uh, wireless Android auto as well. This is exactly what I'm playing on this joker right now. So like I said, man, at the end of the day, uh, she does work and here's the user, the user's manual and it's very bit of thick and it's probably every bit of something that you're going to have to go through and use, uh, if you decide to utilize this thing for like your daily driver, man. Other than that, just get to pushing on some buttons and figure out what you got going on here, man. So, um, on one end, a thumbs up on other, there's always pros and cons, man, but I guess at the end of the day, I can recommend it, uh, for some, you know, for somebody that's looking for $110 unit, go ahead and give it a try, man. At the end of the day, uh, for 110 bucks, you really can't take a loss on it, man. So, um, yeah, if y'all got any more questions on it, uh, let me know. Uh, try to get back to everybody. So it's doing everything that I needed to do. Uh, definitely got me buying for the couple of months that I use it, but I never took the protective coating off cause I didn't want to scratch up the screen or anything like that, man.
